Lets face it, Huntingdon has slim pickings for food. However I am almost okay with Kelly's Corner. Almost. The first time we went was last summer and we had a party of 8. They were able to accommodate us quickly which was nice after a long day at the lake. This past weekend we also had 8 and they also sat us quickly. The food is NOT homemade. Both times we came our table was sitting right near the kitchen and I could look right in and see what was happening. They definitely operate efficiently in there, but there's nothing that appears house made. In fact they have maybe 6 or 8 microwaves stacked upon each other and it seems that they're just throwing things in, pressing a button, throwing things in another, pressing a button. A lot of door slamming. But like I said they were a well oiled machine back there. They knew what item came out of what bag and went into which microwave. One thing that kind of disturbed me was that they weren't wearing gloves and I saw the cook grab a drink, wipe her brow, grab a bun out of a bag, put food on it, press it down with her hand on a plate, and send it out. None of us got sick so it was "fine" in the long run but I don't think hygiene is priority here. I also had a large lipstick stain on my beer. So why do I almost like it? Well the people are friendly. The food we did get wasn't bad. If you order anything fried or even a salad, its pretty good. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. The kids meals are a joke. They literally have frozen pizza and jello pudding cups but hey at least I know where it comes from lol. The salad bar is actually not bad too. I got a steak this time and it was actually cooked well and tasty. The last time it was not even a steak. I don't know what it was. So they're getting somewhere.... If you're looking for something to eat, you'll be satisfied here but its not something I'd go out of my way for just because I am not really sure I am loving their cooking methods. We have been there twice since coming to the area for work. The first time wasn't bad. Husband had a great steak but my chicken was over cooked. The up side is they have an excellent salad bar for a small restaurant. Went there last night. Food was excellent but but the scallop plate my husband had was very small and only came with one side and five scallops. Not much food for the price. The bad part of our visit was the missing waitress when we were ready to get our check and leave. After waiting for 15 or 20 minutes we finally went to the bar and got our check and paid. Waitress didn't get a tip and I don't feel bad about that. read more

Fast, amiable service. Great salad bar where everything was fresh including the rolls. The mushroom and kale ravioli was hot, garlicky, and flavorful. Garlic bread was big and tasty. Warm atmosphere and not too loud. The ladies bathroom was a little weird because there was a second door that lead directly to the kitchen and that door barely closed. There's something for everyone, bar with booths to one side and a dining room with tables and chairs to the other side. There are specials that flash on the TV in the corner for drinks, desserts, entrees, and soups. We've been here twice for the turkey dinner with real mashed potatoes and cubed cornbread filling for 95 cents extra. A good gravy tops it all. The only thing missing is some cranberry sauce. Prices are reasonable. We got some peanut butter pie to go, pricy for the slice but worth every penny of it so try it too. Icy cold beers can't be bear. Servers are pleasant and grin and bear all that customers shell out. In 50 years of dining out, I've never seen anyone ask for hot water to go with their own tea bag, twice just so I know that it really happened. It was worth a good laugh. Hope that the money saved was thrown in as a tip. I would charge the full price of tea with or without a tea bag. How about a vial of instant coffee and some hot water. Server kept her cool. Great food, good parking at the door, ramp to the side, and good prices. read more

This was was fine- clean, busy. The food was good - burger and fries, club sandwich. Service was fine a bit impersonal.

Food quality is adequate, especially given the remote area (although plenty more options are popping up in downtown Huntingdon). I would not rate this as high as other people have. Feels like staff are annoyed with out-of-towners & it takes over 20 min for a refill of water. It took 15 min to get a side of ranch for our wings, which should've been brought out with them to begin with, per our initial order. We were seated right next to the kitchen. Did she forget about us? We finally went to the half-stocked salad bar & got ranch from there. Easy solution: have someone on-hand to go around doing drink refills & little requests. Reviews would go up by a star, & so would the tip for the waitstaff. We weren't the only annoyed (but patient) customers. Food takes a really long time to come out (2 ppl, order of wings & ravioli took 40 min), but there is good variety, which is appreciated. Totally acceptable establishment, with some obvious shortfalls. Would return to give it another chance & support a local business. read more

How do you file a missing persons report? Our waitress may still be missing as far as we know. She dropped off our food, asked if he needed ketchup and said she'd be right back with it. Twenty minutes later and I go to the kitchen myself to ask for ketchup for our cold fries. Ten minutes after that and I tell another waitress that our waitress is missing and may have gone home and we need our check. She didn't seem the least bit surprised or concerned or apologetic so we didn't find out what happened to our server. It was absolutely bizarre. We sat down a little after 8:00. They were busy, but we got a table right away. At 9:00 we had to ask the waitress to check on our order. Her response was "you can't tell it now, but we were really busy tonight." When we pointed out a table that came in after us and already had their food she said "well that's not me section." Her tip would've been better if she had shown any concern. We normally tip 20%....not tonight. Then we had to wait for change. She layed our slip on the bar. The bar tender was too busy sweeping the floor and picking up the rugs (which she then threw over a booth...disgusting considering people were still eating) to get out change. Had to wait even longer for change. Good was good.. service sucked. read more

This is our regular Friday stop. If you are looking for a small bar, with a friendly local crowd and awesome bartender (especially if Doll is working), you are in the right place. If you are looking for a quality dinner and drinks in the dining area, you are in the right place. If you are looking for something between, go a booth between the bar and dining room and you are in the right place. We do the bar thing every Friday and enjoy the Long Island Iced Tea special (until we decide to swtich because too many of those make a person a bit intoxicated!!!!). There are always locals there for a drink but it seems each week a few couples come in from out of town (usually there for a getaway on Lake Raystown with their boat, their cabin in the area or both) and we have had a blast talking with them. When it comes to the food, it is all what you are after. Looking for a sandwich? The club and the battered fish are incredible and the burgers are very good as well. Looking for a little more, go for a hot sandwich and mashed potatoes. Hot Turkey and Hot Meat Loaf are our favorites but others love the Hot Roast Beef too! If you are looking for a bigger meal, the Monterey Jack Chicken, the Fish Dinner, The Shrimp Dinner are very good. It is smoke free/family friendly and you really can't go wrong. The only bad part about Kelly's is they are closed on Mondays. Rating reduced as food quality has dropped off and prices increased. Doll's schedule changed the best bartender isn't as easy to find there. Not our regular Friday spot anymore. read more

Huge portions of so-so food. I had the meatloaf which was drenched in tasteless gravy. The meatloaf itself wasn't seasoned at all and just tasted bland and greasy. The mashed potatoes were good but also unseasoned. I wouldn't go back. read more

Recommended by the staff at the Fairfield Inn, decided to try it and found good food, decent salad bar and friendly staff. Beats the heck out of any chain restaurant. Waitress efficient but did not pester us, perfect amount of attention. Will definitely visit again when passing through. read more

Always happy with my food at Kelly's. I usually sit in the bar end but if you prefer you can sit in the dining room. Both are clean and nice atmosphere. Service is always friendly. I recommend the smoke house burger. I get it almost every time I eat here. It's always perfect. Kelly's also has a great club sandwich! read more

I was in Huntingdon for a youth soccer game that ended at 6pm. We were all very hungry and went here at the recommendation of a friend/local. Glad we did. The burgers and fresh cut fries were excellent. The kids said the chicken fingers were also good. Had a delicious grilled sticky for dessert too. There were no leftovers on our plates. Service by Owen was very attentive. Prices comparable to anywhere else. Typical bar/tavern menu but good and satisfying. read more
