One of the best dining experiences I have had. Coming from Atlanta we have a ton of great Cajun…read moreoptions but this really impressed. Everything from the ambiance to the food and even the service was phenomenal. Great dining room area with both an outdoor and indoor bar. We sat with the bartender AB that immediately greeted us with waters and their menu. They are currently running a pick 2 for $15.99 menu that has some pretty great options. We had 2 meals & chose the wings, blackened shrimp po boy with the small gumbo's. Wings were super crispy, juicy, and tender. With a nice light Smokey taste. They buffalo and blue cheese sauce was actually pretty impressive. The po boy had a good amount of shrimp to bread ratio, with a nice sauce included. The gumbo had a deep rich flavor, but was not overly heavy with fatty meats. We were also informed of the happy hour oyster special, so we ended up getting a few of the rockerfella and raw. The rockerfella was amazing with melty cheese, a nice garlic flavor, & served with crispy bread slices. The raw came with crackers, lemon, wine vinegar, and a tasty cocktail sauce. Both were delicious. Marco, the manager came and spoke with us about our experience which really showed the attention to detail this restaurant offers. After sharing our story of visiting New Orleans a few years ago and bragging about the beignets, he brought us 2 out to finish our meal. I have to say, these were better than the ones I've had at cafe beignet in NOLA. They were HOT out the fryer to the point where the powdered sugar was slightly melted. Crisp outside dough but gooey soft in the center. A unreal experience to end a fantastic meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. Marco and AB really went above and beyond to make sure this was a special outing on a regular ole' Monday, and we could not have left happier.

They put together a veggie boil which had potatoes corn and broccoli with garlic butter and seasoning. The table tried mozzarella sticks, fries, onion rings, and hush puppies as well. The rest of the table indulged. My niece got the king crab kings which was listed as market price. You can only a pound, not a half pound. This was $100, but was enjoyed. On weekends they have a special of 1/2lb of shrimp, 1/2lb of snow crab legs and one lobster. A few people opted for this and enjoyed it. Restaurant has a causal vibe. Nothing fancy but still a splurge. Party of 8 and the hill was under $400 when with an order of king crab legs. Definitely worth the price. Plus they allowed us to bring a special birthday cake for the birthday girl and even sang to her. Hannah provided great service the entire night!

The Cajun carbonara was good but a little confusing. I had to go back and read the description to see that it does include a poached egg. I wish my egg was runnier, but it was hard. It was good, but I think a runny egg would've made it great. We were going to be late to our Saturday night reservation, and the restaurant let us push it back which was really nice and accommodating! We were here celebrating a bachelorette with a large group. We were sat next to the band, which I believe came on around 9 or 9:30pm. We really enjoyed this, and the live music was amazing! This just may be something to consider if you're looking for a quieter spot in the restaurant (which they did have). We ordered a variety of different drinks. I had an espresso martini, and it was very good! I hate saying this, but I do wish our waitress was more friendly. We were here for a big celebration, and I feel like the service we received was very bland. I feel like we had to go out of our way to ask for refills on drinks and water. It could've been an off day for her.

This is special, he is only able to eat after receiving steroids with the chemo dose which allows his tumors to open up enough to get solid food past the obstructions. Explained that he's had the kids portion previously. The bartender rudely replied, "we don't have a chicken breast on the kids menu" and proceeded to curtly list the items on the kids menu insinuating that my husband is a liar and there is no other option aside from "the entree". As a nurse of 33 years I am sickened and appalled that my clearly sick husband would be treated this way by anyone. Have a great day yourself Charlie. I won't be back EVER, especially after my husband's inevitable and impending death. Anyone who has a loved one that is ill and trying to live with their illness should never step foot in this place.

We went for an early dinner, and parking was easy with plenty of spaces available. One downside before even getting there was the road leading into the restaurant, lots of potholes and gravel made it feel a little rough getting in. Service started a bit slow as it took some time before we were greeted, but once our server came over, she immediately brought water and was very friendly throughout the meal. The menu was a little confusing and felt all over the place. The "appetizers" were mostly fried foods that honestly seemed more like à la carte meal items. Along with that, they offered low country boil bags, fried rice dishes, and Asian noodle options, just an unusual combination overall. We ordered one of the boil bags along with a few appetizer items. Everything tasted good, and there really wasn't anything bad about the food. The crab legs were definitely the highlight of the meal. That said, nothing really stood out enough to make it memorable, especially for the price point. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it's probably a one-and-done visit for us. Glad we tried it, but not somewhere we'd likely return to.

This was our second time dining here; the first time being shortly after they opened. The restaurant is really beautiful inside with accents of green and gold and white. Outdoors, there's plenty of table space, a bar, and a stage for live music. It looked like it has been expanded since my first time there. I'm glad to see this restaurant doing well in Old Town Pompano. Our server was very friendly and assisted us with our questions about the menu. As we were there for brunch, we settled on fried green tomatoes Eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and shrimp and grits. The fresh biscuits sounded so good that we ordered them. We should have asked for them to come out early, so we could enjoy them while we were waiting. However, we took them home and enjoyed them the next day. We also made the mistake of ordering a side of potatoes. That was definitely not necessary because two of the entrées came with potatoes, and we had more than plenty for the table. Again, something we enjoyed the next day. We were all impressed with what we ordered. Everything came out hot and cooked just as we had asked. My shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. I also thought it was also nice that our server asked if we wanted to take our refilled drinks to go and prepared to go cups for us. This restaurant has been consistent for us, and I definitely plan to be back. Next time, I'd like to check out their live music scene and get a table outside when the weather gets a little cooler.

The indoor space is small and crowded with lots of noise as it is mostly a bar scene. We went early and were seated right away. They don't take reservations. Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, Crawfish étouffée but mostly the grilled oysters as i am a big fan. They had a variety of grilled choices so i chose the black and blues for something different. They were fried well but next time i would ask for the remoulade sauce on the side. I would like to return and try the rest of the menu. I didn't get my fill of New orleans food yet. i hear the place gets real busy during Saints games. I would enjoy sitting outdoors as the weather gets cooler. They have burgers and wings on the menu. The burger was very good too. Parking was ok in the strip center. Prices were very fair. There aren't many places to get cajun food. Definitely worth a try.

From the moment the music started, we were transported into another world. Listening to Duke Ellington and that incredible jazz was an absolute treat. The music was OUT OF THIS WORLD! And the food? Just as enjoyable! I ordered the baked salmon with steamed broccoli and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, and everything was very good. My husband had the fried shrimp and salad and was a happy camper, too! Michael, the owner, was so friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. Debbie, our waitress, was equally lovely and made us feel right at home. One of the best parts? You almost forget you're in Florida! You're transported into the world of a classic jazz club, where the music takes center stage and you can just sit back, relax, enjoy good food, and soak it all in. What a wonderful evening!
