I was a first-time home buyer and worked with Kelly for approximately a year to find the perfect home. From beginning to end, Kelly was great at explaining every step of home-buying. I'm the kind of person who needs to understand a process fully before I feel comfortable making a decision and Kelly was patient and clear when answering the same questions many times to make sure I was satisfied. The reason I worked with Kelly for so long was because I'm an exceedingly picky person and wasn't thrilled with the homes for sale in the neighborhoods I was interested in. Kelly never tried to rush me into buying and kept in touch periodically. When the right property popped onto my radar in November, 2018, she moved into high-gear and I closed by the end of December, 2018. The closing process benefited from the fact that it was a new property (2015) and the sellers were fairly easy to work with, but much of the credit is due to Kelly and her fantastic team. I've heard nightmare stories about the headache of closings, but the whole process was pretty simple for me. Within about 8 weeks of discovering the perfect home, I owned it. What more could you ask for? Kelly was very capable in the negotiation process and gave me a lot of insight on how to position myself to get the best deal possible. In retrospect, I don't think we could have possibly gotten a better deal. There are a couple minor details that also speak to Kelly's commitment to her clients and her values. For example, on the closing day, when Kelly and I did a walk-through of the property, she had bought a replacement part for the dryer that had been broken by the previous owners. It was a totally unnecessary and very thoughtful gesture to make me feel good about the place I bought. I think it speaks volumes about her personality. Another trait I admire is that Kelly holds her team to the same high performance standards that she sets for herself. But, she also chooses people who are pleasant to work with, have compelling personal backgrounds, and are committed to their work. I can't imagine using any other realtor other than Kelly Parker. We completely trust her real estate expertise and I believe you would be hard-pressed to find anyone as dedicated as Kelly.
