I came here looking for good walking and supportive shoes for my upcoming Disney trip in June…read more Knowing New Balance makes descent walking shoes I thought I could get a pair here. The lady who helped me explained that during the pandemic New Balance had temporarily halted production and that they were only now starting to make and ship shoes. She measured my feet and recommended I try Brooks. She taught me how to tie a secure knot at the ends so that my ankles would be supportive. The shoes felt very good and then I inquired about orthotics with a metatarsal arch for support. She showed me one pair and had to order my size. Along with that she recommended a pair of beach sandals by Birkenstock which would give me more support than ordinary flip flops. I'm allowed to try out my purchases for two weeks as long as I don't take them outside in the event I wish to return them. The very next day I got a call from them telling me that my orthopedic inserts had come in. Sanaljon carries all the top shoe brands and they carry specialty shoes, diabetic shoes, socks, and pretty much everything for you footwear needs. Expect to pay more here because you are buying name brand and quality. Am very happy with my purchase and will shop here again for my shoe needs.

The exfoliator is very gentle while being effective (has AHA and jojoba oil beads). My skin has never felt so wonderful, nor looked so healthy. If you read this, Terri, THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Office billing policy has changed, so that instead of billing an eye exam to vision insurance when…read morea medical diagnosis exists (such as an eye freckle), the office visit is now billed through medical insurance. This results, for my child and for me, in underutilization of our vision coverage (through which a vision exam is provided each year with $0 co-pay), and a $40 per person co-pay. So, our fees increased $80 this year for no good reason. Arbitrary changes that result in increased charges to customers (and no additional revenue for the provider) are bad business practice. Very displeased.

Lastly, I have eye insurance that doesn't cover much and the optometrist wrote for an expensive medication instead of telling me there is a much cheaper identical equivalent of the benign medication that I should have been prescribed instead to begin with. I had to research myself to find out that the medications have the same mechanism of action but one costs much less. More importantly they should tell their patients about medication options instead of living in fear. Despite me taking the medication for years without doctor or insurance issue, the optometrist was too scared she'd get in trouble if she wrote for the less expensive medication. So I unfortunately ended up finding out this optometrist is against continuity of care out of fear that prescribing the less expensive med (which treats the exact same thing) wouldn't be covered as medically necessary and get her in trouble. Lesson learned, seen an ophthalmologist. People are terrified to prescribe the most innocuous medications these days. It's infuriating to have to hunt for confident prescribers. This is unfortunately not uncommon to find prescribers too scared to do their jobs, but it's completely unfounded and puts more work and cost on the patient.

Since when is a customer treated like an enemy for simply raising a concern and asking a question?…read more The front desk staff was unprofessional and rude yesterday. From the moment I walked in and said hello, she was grumpy and unfriendly. I arrived early for my 10:00 a.m. appointment. Even though I had been to this office last year, she asked me to fill out the forms again, which I did. I also called my insurance company and provided the information she requested. After that, before they even looked up the insurance information I had provided, another staff member told me I had to reschedule my appointment. Since it was only around 10:15 a.m., I asked why I needed to reschedule when my appointment had been at 10:00 a.m. I was filling out the forms and calling my insurance company. I explained that I had recently had a baby, had made the effort to come to the appointment, and had done my best to provide the information they needed. As I was leaving, I thanked them for their help, wished them a nice day, and said that I did not want to receive a bill for a visit where I was not seen. Instead of calmly addressing my concern, the front desk staff called out across the front desk toward the door to defend herself. The entire experience felt unprofessional and disappointing.
