Jeff gave me a great estimate for the work and he and Vern worked here for for 4 days. They were courteous and helpful and efficient and a gazillion more wonderful adjectives. They got to my work about 2 weeks before we expected them to show up and that was lovely. The work was done quickly and extremely efficiently. I'm kind of wondering now why it took me so long to make this decision because the work they did is just gorgeous. We've used Tate before for a fireplace project several years ago and were extremely satisfied with that as well so can't say enough about the company or the workers.

Fast forward months later I decided to call and speak to a manager to give one more chance vs. giving a negative review. The assistant manager immediately involved the manager. The were all in contact multiple times with us. They actually involved the cabinet representative and scheduled a trip to my home to go over my concerns. They are standing behind their product, well them and the cabinet manufacturer. Yes, there are a few things I believe I should have been refunded or gotten some kind of credit for, because due to misinformation, I am now out well over $500 that was unplanned. I believe some of that could have been handled way better, but overall am still pretty impressed with how it was handled. Would definitely recommend them and am absolutely considering them for when I start the remainder of our home remodel.

Our customer gave us 48 hours to find the windows she wanted or she would cancel the contract. As customer service is our number one priority, our office manager dropped everything and began the hunt for a company who could build three unique windows in 2 days or less. After calling everywhere else in town (and figuring out that an 8 week lead time on special-order windows is standard), we took a chance on this company. Kathy spent a few hours getting everything right on our order and the windows were ready for pick up in 36 hours. My experience was with and the amount of disrespect he shows to everyone especially his female employee which I dont remember her name. I had gone here in search of some plaster anchors and rather than selling me the more expensive anchors the very helpful clerk pointed me towards the $1 aisle where I found exactly what I was looking for. After asking me what my project for the day was the clerk took me throughout the store and helped me pick out all potentially needed items. The only drawback that I can see of this place is their hours. They close at an hour that would make a banker blush. When I have projects to do I'm typically doing them after my work hours (normal 9-5), and they close at 530 on Weekdays and 3P on Saturdays. That means if I'm working on a project I need to go directly from my work to their store, and hopefully there is no traffic. Very decent selection, and very helpful staff. I'm quite the hardware store fan, and my only other complaint with this store so far is that it's not Klingenberg's in Covington, but hey, maybe I'm biased.

Lonnie took my call, answered all my questions, and quoted me a fair price based on what other such installations have cost. A month later I called them and scheduled the installation. (Needed to get some electrical work done first.) When Adam arrived he did some quick measurements based on how the garage doors opened and informed me that the track for the belt drive openers wouldn't fit since I had such a low ceiling. He took photos and discussed it with Nick, the Service Manager. After some serious discussions a solution was found and thanks to the exceptional team of Adam, Nick, and Lonnie I now have excellent garage door openers and an answer why previous owners never installed them. You might think that seems like a fishy tactic to lure in customers for shoddy work. Definitely not the case here! Scheduling the appointment was a breeze and the technician let me know when he was on the way. My issue was a dead circuit board in my 20 year old garage door opener. The tech went over the replacement options along with clear and upfront pricing. Once I decided, he was able to do the install right away! While he was there he went ahead and gave my other garage a tune-up as well. Both doors are quieter and smoother than they have ever been. It's actually kind of amazing how much better they are now. I highly recommend them for anything to do with your garage doors. Thanks!
