Dr. Cook, his vet techs, and his entire staff are astounding. They have such compassion for all dogs.
I have heard stories from a neighbor of how Dr. Cook yelled at him when he wanted to put his dog down when it couldn't walk because of arthritis. This was because Dr. Cook had compassion and love for the animal. He is such a competent doctor to diagnose that the dog could use care and Rimadyl, which the dog was put on. The dog, I believe, lived 6 more years, and a high quality of life.
Similarly, my own dog's quality of life has greatly improved. My dogs hind legs had been buckling, and he was definitely grumpy. The Vet Tech and Dr. Cook, however, look beyond the grumpy and could see my dog was in pain. Dr. Cook's ability to soundly and thoroughly diagnose health issues gave us a quick plan, and he was very patient to answer questions. The excellent care from Dr. Cook means my dog is as healthy and active as he was 4 years ago. My dog has been doing great in the 6 mos. since we first saw Dr. Cook.
This is a vet and staff who love your dog as much as you do. Also, Dr. Cook is highly qualified, smart and efficient. Do not hesitate to bring your pet to Dr. Cook and his well-trained vet techs and staff.
FYI, like any vet, Vet prescriptions can be expensive. Dr. Cook is reasonable in his prescription cost, but he will also approve prescriptions from other Pharmacies that may be less expensive. read more
