My mom sister and I came up from Oregon for one of our bunnies, so they could get radiation therapy from WSU, for his Thymoma. As we were waiting to pick him up after one of his treatments, we were looking for things togo do to kill time, and we thought why not go check out the local animal shelters/humane societys! Everything was great at first, very friendly, and welcoming. We went back to our car for a second, and then quietly cane back. We decided we wanted to go look at the dogs first; all was great for a few minutes until multiple employees came in, and one one of them raised their voice very sternly, and very rudely. She said that we were not allowed in there, and that there were multiple signs stating that it was staff only. Of course we understand, and left. We felt very embarrassed though, as we did not see any signs that were obviously stating what the girl had said. We also felt ganged up on since they came in as a group, and the one girl came off as very rude. We just felt like it could have been handled more gently, and more politely. :/

When they did increase the prices they went up about $4 or so which hurt But most places doubled or more for the same amount of hay which wasn't near the quality this place sells. For at least the last 3 years they have had the Best hay for my very picky goats. They also carry a few various things & some higher quality items u can't find at the other stores. They often have some good deals so I usually shop the whole store. This year they had chicks. I had already picked mine up BUT I wish I would have waited. Their chicks looked much healthier, larger & stronger & they had a great selection of the best breeds. Hopefully they have them next year cuz I would buy from them. The prices were also great.

The person at the registers was Kathy, who I believe is the General Manager at this location. All I said was, "Hi, I think I have an online order," and she responded with, "You think or you know." Okay... I'm pretty sure we're all adults here so let's act like one. I gave her my name and she started asking me about what specific brand I got. This was my first time getting that brand of cat food, so I wasn't 100% confident in my answer. I don't understand the unprompted hostility. I also do not understand how the 'General Manager' of a pet supply store does not know the difference between a male betta fish and a female betta fish (sadly, Ive witnessed first hand that she doesn't know). I've had more than one person tell me that she is notoriously rude and incompetent in her high-up store position as GM. I genuinely hope that the next person who has the lovely honor of being served by her doesn't get treated how I did over nothing. I should be able to walk in, give you my legal name and ID, and be handed my order. I am disappointed.
