Having never set foot in a men's salon, other than those old-timey traditional barber shops. This by far was an amazing experience--from a woman's perspective. First, we were able to make a same day appointment--I called when they opened and got an appointment about an hour later. When you walk in, there's a pool table (I guess to pass the time if you needed to wait), barber chairs on both sides of the shop, each with its own hair basin, the decor included a rolling tool chests, bar stools, each work station had a tabletop tool chest supplies and the walls were decorated with college pendants. The staff was very nice and helpful--even recommended hair product for my husband. The pricing was reasonable, almost the same as I would pay at a my salon back home--however this one was tailored more for a man. The Works came with a the cut, shampoo, hot lather neck shave & massage all for $29. The shop is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you are in need of manscaping, I would definitely come here. You definitely get what you pay for!!

Showed her an old picture of me and she nailed it! She made sure to account for how much my curls would spring up, after ditching the heavy length. While I was there, I also watched & heard Gretchen kindly and patiently talk a shy teenager through a major haircut transformation and she even offered for him to come back if he wasn't feeling it once he got home and wanted to make some more changes. I've been there before with the long skater hair and not knowing exactly how to articulate what new hairstyle I wanted as a young kid. Also caught up on some sports highlights while i was waiting for my spot. Overall a great experience again and again.

I asked him if he had any experience cutting autistic children's hair. He kindly responded saying that he could help us out. My boy is 7 and has hard times with haircuts due to his sensory issues but we're making progress. Jeb has his own studio so there isn't extra noise or other people there. It felt safe and calming. Jeb was patient, accommodating and supportive to my son. This was a new environment for my son and Jeb made him feel comfortable and safe. Jeb mentioned he'd like to help out the autistic community more and would like to learn more about how to help and that really warmed my heart. My husband also got a haircut and a beard trim and he loved it. It's really hard to come across people willing to take on what some could call a challenge and Jeb genuinely wanted to. Thank you Jeb!
