I've been a customer here since 2016, and for many years everything ran smoothly under the previous…read moreowners, George and Kay. I never had a single issue with them. Since the new owner took over, the level of professionalism and reliability has changed dramatically. My last three visits in November were all problematic. On one morning, the owner arrived about eight minutes late, and another customer was waiting with me. On the other two mornings, I arrived at 9:00 AM (their posted opening time) and the store was still closed at around 9:12 AM. I never saw the owner arrive on those days, and I eventually had to leave because I couldn't wait indefinitely. I have photos documenting these late openings. These late openings were not isolated mistakes. They formed a clear pattern over multiple visits. After failing to pick up my mail during these three visits, I stopped going in person because I could no longer trust that the business would open at its posted hours. Because of these repeated delays, I asked the new owner to confirm a 9 AM pickup time for my remaining mail. I wasn't asking for anything outside their posted business hours. I even gave a wide range of possible days. Despite that, my messages were ignored for two full business days, even though I replied within a couple of hours during their business hours. When I finally received a response, it was a single word "Monday" with no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the previous delays or missed openings. The communication was consistently cold, minimal, and unprofessional. Update: I went in on 1/26/2026 to pick up my remaining mail. The owner arrived at 8:58 AM, and I was finally able to collect everything. I asked for a one‑month refund because I was unable to access my mailbox on two separate mornings in November. I waited until around 9:10-9:12 AM both times, and the store never opened while I was there. When I requested a refund, the owner responded by saying, "I called you," even though I never spoke with her. Regardless of whether she called, the issue was that I physically showed up during posted business hours and could not access the mailbox I was paying for. The time I lost waiting outside cannot be recovered, and her response showed no understanding of that point. This experience is completely different from the reliable service I received for years under the previous owners. After 8-9 years as a customer, I ultimately decided to cancel my account because the service under the new ownership no longer meets basic expectations. Everything in this review is based on my actual experience, with photos and message timestamps to support it. I also want to note that the current 4.6 rating on Yelp was built over many years by the previous owners, George and Kay, who were consistently reliable and professional. My recent experience reflects the new ownership, not the service that earned those earlier reviews.

I had requested a notary service and paid, while I haven't received the document after 3 business days after payment had gone through on my banks end. The document that was to be notarized is time sensitive, and I had less than a week to get it. Like I said, it is understandable that she is busy, just is not helpful that I'm unable to get ahold of her via phone, and there's been no response to my emails. Update: it looks like our time was unfortunately misaligned. To where it made it hard to contact each other. I used Apostilles CA to get my California divorce decree certified and apostilled for use in the…read morePhilippines. The turnaround was very fast -- they completed everything and had it ready to ship in about a week, which was impressive. However, the business ethics and customer service afterward were completely unacceptable. Before paying, I explicitly told them the destination was Iloilo. They took 10 minutes to check it and came back with a specific shipping estimate of $59, bringing my total invoice to $333, which I paid in full. Once the work was completed, they suddenly demanded an additional $70, claiming my specific neighborhood (Oton) was "outside the delivery zone." When I pointed out that it is right within the Iloilo region I had already disclosed, they blamed FedEx and refused to take accountability. As a business owner myself, I know that if you fail to verify the full delivery details before giving a firm quote, you eat the cost of your own mistake--you don't pass it onto the client. Because I was overseas and on a tight budget, I offered a fair compromise to split the difference and pay $35 extra. They flatly refused and gave me a ridiculous ultimatum: pay the full amount, or arrange my own international courier to physically pick up the package from their California office. Knowing how nearly impossible that is to coordinate from the Philippines, I had no choice but to pay the $70 ransom just to get my own essential documents released, bringing the total to $403. A fast turnaround does not justify a bait-and-switch. They used intense leverage to force an extra payment over their own careless quoting. Future clients, beware of the upfront pricing terms.
