I received a video tape of realty west employee Will Watkins bribing a Spokane City code enforcement inspector. It shows them pull up in front of a house and get out of the same car together (weird) and stand in front of this house discussing what to put on the inspection report and what to leave off of it. You can hear and see clearly who it is and what they are doing. It was hard to watch and disturbing. Im sure it was even worse for the poor renters that probably ended up on the losing end of this whole thing. I tried to reach out to Will but I got no response. So I am going to keep pursuing this because someone has to make sure that companies like this cant keep stepping on the weaker person and getting away with it.

Chad Ohrt and Contractor Jim Mearns had a long standing business relationship. Both very familiar with the home we ultimately selected. We had the benefit of seeing several completed (same model) houses in the south sound area. Not long after we signed purchase agreement contract and made earnest deposit our transaction went terribly wrong. Contractor Jim Mearns and Chad Ohrt were terminated. I assume Chad was as blindsided as we were... I was reluctant to proceed with our purchase, I expressed I wanted to pull out. construction had not started. Chad discouraged that alternative Add, I could not afford to walk away. We had already invested earnest deposit and upgrade fees. I spoke to Chad regarding my desire to terminate the contract. Chad apparently familiar with the "new" contractor assured me I would have a quality home built. I regret giving Chads assessment any value. Our home is plagued with problems far exceeding earnest deposit and upgrade fees. Never once did Chad follow up with us. 2 Stars rating for giving a positive recommendation on (replacement) contractor for sake of his personal benefit. $$ commission Buyer beware!
