Possibly the worst place I have ever taken my bike. 2 Tyres changed and given back without the wheels being balanced. Stupid me for not checking and trusting the professionals. When they were told about this, I was told that balancing isn't part of the service. Maybe I have been spoilt in the past, but that is the first time I had ever heard of that. logically, even if it isn't part of the service, surely you would ask, I mean its obviouse the ride is going to be naff with unbalanced wheels. To add to that the tyres were fitted incorrectly with the markers on the tyres not matching up. Then, to add insult to injury, I took the bike BACK to have the wheels balanced (more fool me), which cost me another £20 to be told by possibly the rudest mechanic I have ever met, that I "can't hang around" presumably his code for get out the shop and gave me a time when the job would be done, I mean, if he was going to do the work there and then, I would have hung around, but I couldn't handle the friendly apmosphere for any longer than 20 minutes or so and if the job was done properly the first time round, I wouldn't be wasting my time and his by needing to "hang around". After all, anyone would think I was a paying customer and not someone loitering in their shop. When i took the bike to a racing specialist, he pretty much couldn't believe the service and the fitting. The tyres had to be re fitted at yet more cost. Was made to feel unwelcome on pretty much every visit. Wouldn't let them anywhare near my bike again! I could go on, but im not going to. On the whole, my experience with them made me feel like I was a chore rather than a paying customer and completly sub standard work on what should have been a simple job. read more
