Millard's Motor Accessories is a sprawling motor supplies shop that has seen me through a few MOT's without too much bother. Established in 1955, this shop is the logical choice for people who drive 'vintage' vehicles (as I like to call my 27 year old truck, and my aging Suzuki run-around). Millard's carry a dizzying array of stock, all stacked neatly in boxes on shelves that reach for the ceiling. If Millard's don't have what you're looking for, then you are probably out of luck.
Business hasn't been brisk of late, but there's been a steady trickle of loyal patrons, who like me, prefer to avoid the pitfalls of buying off the internet. I've bought everything from fuses and bulbs that are probably out of production, to hoses for Gerri cans here, and am always enthralled when the owner retrieves the correct box of sundries from a wall of similar looking storage containers.
