Maybe a red flag. The other company I was debating between had no time limit or charge per hour. It was a set rate. I took the change and paid the deposit for Cartier. Requesting a quote The call with each mover is very similar. You list your items and each company values your move slightly different. Some focus on including an hour travel charge, others focus on the number of boxes moved, etc... I liked Cartier because they asked about permits and proof of insurance. No one else did and assumed it was not needed. Other claimed they had no hidden fees. Cartier answered all my questions and didn't seem to have any hidden fees either. I was taken back that their sales rep couldn't give me a total. He said he doesn't want to mess it up by adding it all up. I called back to their main office and whomever answered the phone was able to give me a total. I paid the deposit and waited. Moving day The day before I received a text confirming my move. The guys called me letting me know they were on their way. They arrived at 10: 05 am ish. My move window arrival was between 10 am and 12pm. They were in my apartment ready to go at 10:14pm and asked if starting the time at 10:15am was okay? I said yes, and off they went. I went outside to look at the truck and it was pretty run down and didn't have the companies name on it. The guys weren't wearing company shirts either. The truck was huge and fit all my stuff, but it wasn't clean or new. These guys were quick, strong, and efficient. The moved all the boxes first, then wrapped the glasses, and lastly moved the heaviest items. The drive to my new apartment was 25 minutes. They said they were going to grab some drinks and head over in 10 minutes. I went straight to the apartment and they were there by the time I arrived. Just as quickly, they unpacked the truck, rebuilt my bed, tables, and it was all done by hour 3. One of the moving guys called Sebastian, who gave me a total, charged the card, and they left. I tipped in cash. Overall thoughts This company felt like it all worked out and that is why I had a great experience. For my first time using a moving company I was impressed. I would consider using them again and you should quote several companies and see which one offers you the best.

And was very patient with me and all my changes!!! Out of all the movers I called for quotes, he was the only one that followed up with me. I will definitely call him for my next move! Then comes time for the movers to load us up from Margate, FL to NC. They were beyond professional, sweet, careful, and so kind to us. Asked questions along the way. Moved our personal belongings with such care. These two young men pictured with my mom were simply amazing!!!! Now for the unload in NC. The driver kept in touch with us from the time he loaded the truck up until delivery day.... keeping us updated on time line. We had two stops, and he handled everything perfectly. Even told my mom, relax I will put the bed together! We had a storage unit and I was afraid everything wouldn't fit, well he told me not to worry he's got it. And he did! Even told me where certain things were in storage unit for me to find. I cannot say enough great things about Nationwide Van Lines. Everyone involved with our move went above and beyond. I purchased a groupon from this company about a month ago. After purchase i had some questions so…read morethought I would contact the company. I tried to contact them one time a day for a week (phone call, text messages and emails) with no response. The best i received was a text message stating some one would contact me soon. I called groupon who walked me through the process of booking an appointment. Keep in mind no one from the company ever contacted me as the appointment was made online. My appointment was for today at 8 am. The company is very good about sending out automated emails about your appointment as I received an email probably once a day confirming the appointment. I am home today expecting them. It is now 11 am and no one showed up or called or contacted me in any way. I called groupon to see what they can do and they've escalated my case but I won't receive a reply for 2-3 days. At this point i'm home waiting for someone that i guess is not coming. I've called the company twice this morning with no response from them and have turned to giving them a bad review to try and save others. Sad to say i also had other work i would have liked them to do. I would give them zero stars if i could.

Over a week ago, I arranged to have this company come to remove a queen bed/box spring today. They promised to come by between 1-2PM. They never showed, so my roommate called the rep (Marcus) . . . We called to confirm if/when he would be coming, no answer. I texted, no answer. How does a business operate like this?? This company only had 1 review and it was rated a 4. I took a chance because I surmised they were a small business and the price was reasonable. I should have gone with a reputable company with many more reviews. If I could have given them zero stars I would have. You know, I would have given them some slack if they had the common courtesy to call me back, apologize, and commit to making things right by honoring their commitment the next day. But no . . . dead silence! If you're reading this post, do yourself a favor and find a reputable company company with more reviews, because this company wasted our entire day today. They simply suck! Update: 9/21/19. Marcus texted me yesterday to apologize for the mix-up and for not coming by to pick up our old bed yesterday as promised.
