I first heard of the place through a SGV eats post and wished it was closer to me. Today as I'm heading to my sister's I realized I'd be passing close enough to stop by and check it out. I love popcorn in all flavors and was excited to get some for me and for my neice/nephews. It's a small store front in Azusa. But it looks like they stay busy- two people came in after me. The owner was in preparing a pre-order of 175 x-small bags of kettle lorn. Both the owner and the guy behind the counter were helpful, informative and willing to let me sample whatever flavors I wanted. So many to choose from. I ended up getting 5 bags (Windy City mix, vanilla cupcake, blue raspberry, buttery caramel, turtle mix) and started eating them in the car to my sisters. I love that all the bags are resealable except the x-small. The bags are made of a thick plastic and the reseals easily! The Windy City mix is the caramel with cheese. Keith said he's going to be making his Chicago style which has the buttery caramel and cheese but hasn't had time. That should be amazing. He has traditional caramel and the buttery caramel which takes longer to make. The vanilla cupcake is sweet-but I love sweet. Like a vanilla kettle corn with white chocolate drizzle! The blue raspberry wasn't too sweet and not my fav but I thought my 5 year old nephew would love it. The turtle seems to be like a light caramel corn with chocolate caramel drizzle. I'll definitely come by again and try more flavors! Maybe more savory ones next time. read more

Paid Keith's a visit for National Popcorn Day and now I'm wishing I'd found this place sooner!! If you love popcorn, you gotta check this place out! Without a doubt I'll be back - there are so many flavors on the menu that I just HAVE to try - like lemon pound cake and Nashville hot cheddar - what!??? On this visit, I walked away with some jalapeño cheddar, caramel, and banana pudding flavors. They were running an awesome deal for the National Popcorn Day holiday (duh??? Lol!!) - 2 small buckets for $5!!! So BONUS!! I was able to try tons of flavors instead of just one!! All three were excellent and exactly what you'd hope for!! The banana pudding one even has large bits of vanilla wafers in it omg heaven!! For the banana pudding flavor, since it's a "specialty" mix on the menu, it only comes in medium for $10 but the bag is HUGE!! Well worth it imo! I don't think we'll have any issues getting through it either lol! Oh and don't forget - they also have a Yelp check-in offer that gets you $1 off!! I was also lucky enough to meet the owner while I visited - he is SOOOO NICE!! So friendly and helpful - had a great banter going with customers and staff alike - overall it was just a great and joyful visit! The shop is in a little plaza with plenty of parking and it's right down the street from the Azusa Costco so it's a great location. Very very bad costumer service..... the person that answered my call named Katelyn - I inquired for catering service. The first thing she said is I should just email Keith because she is not in charge of this service. I had to suggest to her to get my information so they can get back to me since I already emailed with no response and that is the reason for my call in the first place. She started getting my info but she's laughing so much while on the phone with me so she couldn't get anything at all! Someone else took the phone from her and again tried to get my name and again ask me to spell it out for the 3rd time but he's laughing with her.... Fresh made kettle corn. I got classic and maple flavors. Both were good and fresh. They are not overly sweet. I bought my parents 2 bags medium yesterday. Today, only 1/4 of the bag left. I got myself a medium bucket cause you can do discounter refills. I am coming back for the other flavors. I lean towards sweeter flavors personally. The maple flavor could be a little stronger, i think it is a little faint for maple. You can tell Keith wants the popcorn flavor to come through and not be overpowered by the flavor which is great. Gotta find that balance. read more

Stopped by to pick up some bags to give as gifts and thought I should try some for myself. Well, let me say that this is some of the best Kettle Corn I've had in a while. The Chicago Fire is my favorite for sure. Tastes like caramel corn with a spicy kick and I mean spicy. The Windy City has a similar profile, just maybe not as hot. Nashville Hot is just straight heat with cheese and maybe my second favorite as I like things spicy. Caramel and jalapeño cheddar round out my purchase and are also very tasty but if you start with the other flavors first, jalapeño doesn't pack the same heat and caramel seems one dimensional. I'll bar to try those after clearing my palate :). Did i mention he has caramel apples as well!!!! Going to try mine soon. Keith was great as well. Very friendly and had my Grub Hub pick up order ready when promised. Definitely a unique business with great quality gourmet popcorn and friendly service. Came here when it first opened a couple of months ago and although there was only a limited flavors at the time the flavor and quality of the kettle was on point. Came back again today when I saw their Facebook updating more flavors. The Jalapeño Cheddar and Butterfinger flavors were the favorites of the evening but all flavors were very much enjoyed. And not a bad price either. $25 for all four bags. Way better than paying for those Popcornopolis bags which are so processed. I saw Keith's on Instagram (SGV Yelp highlighted this place). I was in the area and decided to drop by. I love popcorn. The best way I can describe it is, it's the Candy Store/Frogurt equivalent of a popcorn shop. Sweet, spicy, chocolate, and so much more. Keith was really nice and talkative and helpful. I was literally a kid in a candy store, and I didn't know what to get! He recommended a few flavors, and told me a few anecdotes. Honestly, a really lovely person. The prices are a steal. I think I'm so used to paying high prices for "gourmet popcorn" at movie theaters (remember those?) I walked away with 5 bags of different flavor popcorn, and I paid less than a popcorn combo at any movie theater. I think this would be great for an night-in movie night or a drive-in movie (can't really do anything else really during these times). We have been hearing of this on Facebook and decided to try a local small business out on Christmas Eve. The minute you walk in you can smell the wonderful smell of kettle corn and can see the wall of flavors. All the flavors was a bit overwhelming to choose from. I didn't realize there were so many flavors. We decided to go with the classic salty and sweet and got a medium bag for $7.00. We got home popped it open and it was amazing and the packaging so convenient to reseal again for continued freshness. The popcorn lasted for a week we were trying to make it last and every day it tasted amazing. Great snack food and we are really looking forward to going back and trying other flavors. Keith had a plexiglass thing at the register and he has a mask so he does practice the social distancing. Support small business and try him out. I'm so glad we have this great gem in Azusa! We went to Keith's today to stock up on some munchies for Super Bowl, and we're glad we got there as early as we did, because it looked like it was going to be a busy day(good sign)! As soon as you enter the shop, even through Covid-Era face coverings, you are greeting with a heavenly scent of sweet, sweet popcorn! Keith helped us himself, and he is a very kind man. All the other reviews saying so are positively correct about that. You'll feel welcomed and at home the minute you walk in. Now onto the main star, the popcorn itself. We picked out quite a few flavors to try, and there are many not even listed on the website! From what we sampled so far, he has a chocolate covered strawberry popcorn just in time for Valentines Day. It was coated in a decadent chocolate drizzle, and the strawberry flavor was amazing. I would recommend it as a must try while you can get it. I don't know how they do it, but every kernel is perfectly coated in flavor. If you're expecting those hit or miss stale and flavorless popcorn tins sold at stores around the holiday season, you won't find it here. Everything tastes super fresh and your taste buds will be pleased! The flavors are also spot on, and there are so many good ones to try depending on your "food mood".
