We would typically make the trip to Ontario Mills for our refill on our bucket, but were left with a less than spectacular service each time (if they were even open). So when we heard Doc Popcorn was coming to town we were excited! Our go-to flavors are a mix of Hoppin Jalapeño and Cheesy Cheddar. It's cheesy goodness with a hint of just enough spice. We went one day and took out refillable popcorn buckets from the other stand. Tamer waved us over once he saw our bucket and struck up a conversation. Unfortunately, they had run out of the hoppin jalapeño but offered us some other delicious options. He asked us to joy our numbers down and he would let us know once he restocked. He felt really bad and apologized that we had made our way over but assured us we would know when it was available. Fast forward a few weeks and boom incoming text read that it was available. Sent him a quick thank you text and went to fill up that day. He instantly knew who we were, what I had texted him and what our favorite mix was. If this doesn't say "exceptional customer service" I don't know what will. So every now and again when we feel like having a treat, we simply send a quick text and he knows when to expect us. We love this popcorn so much that we wanted to have some available for our guests to snack on at an event this past weekend. Tamer gave us some amazing advice for how much we would need for the amount of guests we were having with an out of this world price! Our guests were raving about the popcorn and as we were cleaning up, we had some left over and found ourselves being stopped from one end of the room to the other as we were attempting to put the left overs away for later. From the beginning, he was fully invested in making everything perfect--helping us plan quantities, walking us through dry ice and storage, and even suggesting things we hadn't thought of. When I was worried our cooler wouldn't fit everything, he had me come by and personally helped pack it to make sure it worked. He even coordinated with corporate to ensure everything arrived on time. On the wedding day, the handoff was smooth and stress-free. He followed up during and after to make sure everything went perfectly. We even had leftovers, and without hesitation, he let us store them at his shop until our next party--something you rarely see from a business owner. Tamer truly goes above and beyond, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. You don't even need a big event to support him--stop by for a cup of Dippin' Dots or try the Doc Popcorn. It smells amazing and tastes even better. Highly recommend!

I love popcorn in all flavors and was excited to get some for me and for my neice/nephews. It's a small store front in Azusa. But it looks like they stay busy- two people came in after me. The owner was in preparing a pre-order of 175 x-small bags of kettle lorn. Both the owner and the guy behind the counter were helpful, informative and willing to let me sample whatever flavors I wanted. So many to choose from. I ended up getting 5 bags (Windy City mix, vanilla cupcake, blue raspberry, buttery caramel, turtle mix) and started eating them in the car to my sisters. I love that all the bags are resealable except the x-small. The bags are made of a thick plastic and the reseals easily! The Windy City mix is the caramel with cheese. Keith said he's going to be making his Chicago style which has the buttery caramel and cheese but hasn't had time. That should be amazing. He has traditional caramel and the buttery caramel which takes longer to make. The vanilla cupcake is sweet-but I love sweet. Like a vanilla kettle corn with white chocolate drizzle! The blue raspberry wasn't too sweet and not my fav but I thought my 5 year old nephew would love it. The turtle seems to be like a light caramel corn with chocolate caramel drizzle. Although I unfortunately experienced an uncomfortable situation while in the store, the owner handled it with professionalism, compassion, and genuine concern for my safety. I was visiting with my grandmother, mother, sister, and boyfriend when the owner noticed that a man in the store--who was not with our group and was not even a customer--appeared to be recording me. She immediately brought it to my attention and asked whether he was with us. When I told her he was not, she informed me of what she had observed. My mother and boyfriend then confronted the individual, while the owner continued to monitor the situation closely. She later explained that she had noticed his behavior right away and had been keeping an eye on him. While she cannot control the actions of every person who enters her business, I greatly appreciated her attentiveness and willingness to step in. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt safe and supported throughout the situation. Afterward, she checked on me and made my well-being her priority. I thanked her personally for looking out for me and for taking the situation seriously. Her kindness, awareness, and willingness to protect her customers left a lasting impression on me. After my mother placed our order, I walked over to the other side of the counter to wait. While waiting, I rested my back against the counter. I understand that perhaps I should not have been leaning against it, and I had no issue being asked to move. However, the manner in which I was addressed was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. An older white female employee approached me from behind and, in a raised and unfriendly tone, told me, "Don't lean on the counter." I immediately moved and responded, "Oh, sorry." I then told her that I felt the way she spoke to me was rude. I also mentioned that a decorative bear had fallen after I walked away, as I wanted to make it clear that I had not knocked it over. At that point, the interaction escalated. She turned toward me and responded, "What?" in a confrontational manner. Her facial expression, tone, and demeanor made me feel as though she was attempting to intimidate me. When I commented on how she was speaking and reacting toward me, she ultimately told my mother and me to "get out" and called security. Security responded to the situation, and I intend to file a report regarding the incident. Being asked not to lean against a counter is completely reasonable; being spoken to disrespectfully, confronted, and then ordered to leave simply because I expressed concern about an employee's tone is not acceptable customer service. Before leaving, I asked for the manager's contact information. A younger male employee politely provided me with a phone number, although I believe it may simply be the store's main number. He appeared uncomfortable with the situation but remained courteous and professional. I am requesting that management review this incident, including any available security footage, and address the employee's conduct. I would also appreciate being contacted by the appropriate manager. I do believe she actually may have been the owner and felt entitled to treat us the way she did which is completely unacceptable. My mother and I came in simply to purchase something we regularly enjoy.
