I have been a patient of Dr. Carr's since 2002. He is a graduate of the Stanford University…read moreMedical School and did his residency at their hospital in San Francisco. He is also a descendent, for anyone who is interested, of Major General Eugene Asa Carr, who graduated from West Point 19th in a class of 44 in 1850, and who fought in the Civil War, winning the Medal of Honor for his heroic action in the battle of Pea Ridge, AR. Dr. Carr is a wonderful doctor, but alas, it is now for naught. He has decided to retire. His last day of seeing patients will be on December 12, 2017, and he's already all booked up.

It's a nice little Private Practice in the Encino complex among other small Medical Offices. The employees of always been helpful, friendly and efficient. I've had several nurse practitioners come and go through the years some I have enjoyed some were just my nurse practitioners. It's usually not very crowded, not long of a wait and you can usually get same-day appointments. It's in a great location right off of the freeway with plenty of off-street parking and directly across from the pharmacy how convenient is that? Although the staff has changed throughout the years the care and attention from the doctor and nurse practitioners have not changed. There's plenty of seating inside this little office with a television, wager station, plenty of magazines to read and beautiful photography decorating the walls. They do have after hours doctors on staff and you usually get a call back very quickly. I would recommend this office for someone who is looking for a reliable doctor or an efficient nurse practitioner but don't become too attached to them because they seem to come and go often. I would not like to recommend this office because I enjoy it being small and not crowded and being able to get same-day appointments. So to Roundup this review its a great office, great staff, great nurse practitioners and a great old grumpy Dr.

TO: TANYA BRNDZIA Deeply Disappointed by Lack of Compassion…read moreand Professionalism I brought my daughter in to be seen, and while she initially did well--greeting staff and sitting calmly--that shifted the moment the NP approached her. My daughter is autistic and, like many neurodivergent children, can become overwhelmed with unfamiliar or abrupt interactions. Instead of approaching the situation with patience or understanding, the doctor said, "If you can't control your child, I don't have time." Let me be clear: 1. My daughter has special needs, and regulating a child like her takes time and skill--not impatience and judgment. 2. There's a reason these appointments are scheduled--to meet the patient where they are and provide care accordingly. 3. The comment was not only unprofessional, but extremely insensitive, especially coming from someone who chose a career in providing care To others. TRULY DISAPPOINTED & DISGUSTED.

This place is the epitome of why a lot of people don't want to get routine healthcare. Because of…read moretheir lack of availability for primary care providers in FEBRUARY 2025, I was only able to get an appointment in 5 MONTHS. At this point, I was desperate to take the first available appointment that THEY SAID they have which is in July of 2025. Now, two days out from my appointment they call me saying that the provider's schedule changed because the provider had a meeting and they only had availability that following MONDAY, after waiting 5 months already. I told them that I couldn't wait any longer because my meds ran out 3 weeks prior and I wouldn't be able to get them without a refill. Plus, I have already taken the entire day off and I cannot reschedule my day off due to company policy. I asked if they can do it online, but they said "no, that [I] would have to come in." Which already in itself is ridiculous, since many other providers can do it over the phone. But I was getting frustrated, because I work in another healthcare clinic because they kept telling me there are no other providers. In the facility I work for, there is ALWAYS a provider that is available in case something like this happens where last minute changes occur. Plus due to the fact that this was a meeting- means that they could have scheduled this meeting a week out. At the facility, I work for, if we have a meeting that comes up we don't schedule a patient during that time or at the very least we give the patient a week in advance. I get it stuff happens at work but patient care over anything else comes first. But apparently nobody at this facility knows this. I yelled at the second lady because she was unuseful, rude, and didn't take more than 10 seconds before cutting me off when I told her I was mad at the situation. She then proceeded to hang the phone up. I called back right away and was FINALLY able to get a hold of someone (who I believe her name is Diane) who was actually helpful. She was not only able to get me through to someone who was able to help but also actually take the time to listen as to why I was upset. An hour later, I was able to be rescheduled for that same day of my original appointment to get my medications. Diane is the only reason that I would ANY positive recognition towards; everybody else deserves 0 stars.

Dear Rust medical Center Patient Relations Department,…read more I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the care I received during my visit on 11/05/2025 at your hospital. I was referred by my car insurance and my physical therapist to receive an MRI due to ongoing symptoms after my accident. During my visit, I reported experiencing numbness down my arm and leg and occasional loss of bladder control -- symptoms that are serious and potentially neurological. Despite clearly explaining this to both the attending doctor and the head nurse, I was told that my condition was not considered an emergency and that I should follow up with an outside doctor. I waited approximately six hours to be seen, only to be dismissed without any imaging or further evaluation. When I expressed my concerns to the head nurse, I was told there was nothing he could do. I was given a steroid injection and some pain medication, and afterward, I was told the steroid could raise my blood sugar levels. I am prediabetic and currently taking medication to manage my blood sugar, yet no one checked or monitored my glucose before or after administering these medications. This was concerning and felt careless, especially given my medical condition. I left the hospital feeling disregarded, frustrated, and worried for my health. The lack of urgency, communication, and attention to my symptoms and medical background was unacceptable. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated and that I receive a response explaining why my symptoms and referral were not taken seriously, and why medications with known risks were administered without proper consideration or follow-up. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward
