This is one of the most efficient and friendly clinics that I have been to in the ABQ area. They have urgent care here and they were relatively fast when I came in for an urgent issue. I only had to wait 20 mins in comparison to others, which could be around 2-3 hours. Also they have imaging within the clinic, so if your primary care doctor ordered image studies, you can just get it all done before leaving the clinic. The huge plus is their lab open 7 days a week, so you can come here and get your blood drawn on the weekend. About the doctors, there are some awesome doctors working in there. They are pretty nice, passionate and knowledgable. They know what they are talking about and they care. My family doc is very talented, a funny and skillful guy. They are also good with returning your requests for prescriptions, refills and if needed to, will personally call you on your cellphone to check on you. Oh, bonus thing is they push their refreshment cart around and serve you with coffee, tea, juices...for free of charge while waiting. They even have wifi.

What I like most is that she will take the time to answer every question and help you find answers that work for you. Dr. Barlow has been my doctor for quite some time. I think I was one of her first patients. If you can't see Dr B then Elizabeth Rudolphi is an excellent NP. I highly recommend Dr. Barlow.

She spends the time needed to hear the problems and to explain the issues, engaged with all the myriad data points every time I have an exam (imagine doing that for every patient; I know that she does because I'm acquainted with a few others of her patients and we all marvel about this) and yet at the same time she always brings a positive/encouraging friendly/kind/caring demeanor that is attentive to the smallest issues and patiently gracious even with the eccentricities of difficult patients (ask how I know). Her staff is professional and kind in person, and you'll generally get a same-day reply from Dr. Barlow or her staff (never later than the next day!) when you send an inquiry through the MyChart system. Dr. Barlow not only gives good, targeted referrals for specialist care, she follows up to make sure that care was provided to her standards. Dr. Barlow comes across as a wonderful caring friend - my wife and I think it's almost a miracle that we'd be blessed to know a physician who's both so razor-edge sharp and yet such a lovely person.

He is also a descendent, for anyone who is interested, of Major General Eugene Asa Carr, who graduated from West Point 19th in a class of 44 in 1850, and who fought in the Civil War, winning the Medal of Honor for his heroic action in the battle of Pea Ridge, AR. Dr. Carr is a wonderful doctor, but alas, it is now for naught. He has decided to retire. His last day of seeing patients will be on December 12, 2017, and he's already all booked up.

It's a nice little Private Practice in the Encino complex among other small Medical Offices. The employees of always been helpful, friendly and efficient. I've had several nurse practitioners come and go through the years some I have enjoyed some were just my nurse practitioners. It's usually not very crowded, not long of a wait and you can usually get same-day appointments. It's in a great location right off of the freeway with plenty of off-street parking and directly across from the pharmacy how convenient is that? Although the staff has changed throughout the years the care and attention from the doctor and nurse practitioners have not changed. There's plenty of seating inside this little office with a television, wager station, plenty of magazines to read and beautiful photography decorating the walls. They do have after hours doctors on staff and you usually get a call back very quickly. I would recommend this office for someone who is looking for a reliable doctor or an efficient nurse practitioner but don't become too attached to them because they seem to come and go often. I would not like to recommend this office because I enjoy it being small and not crowded and being able to get same-day appointments. So to Roundup this review its a great office, great staff, great nurse practitioners and a great old grumpy Dr.

HOWEVER, I was recommended here by my sister in law, and I've been there a couple of times and they all seemed really nice to me and they've answered me when I call or called back when I leave a voicemail so idk what all those people are talking about, I know that their hours I very inconvenient and these people probably called while they were closed and that's why no one answered but idk I'm not that person ‍. Regardless they all tried to handle my needs as best they can based on what symptoms I explained and expressed concerns about my only problem is with pricing because I don't make a lot of money and have a hard time saving enough money to pay for things like this but that could go for any doctors office. But so far they're not like Presbyterian where your doctor says your bi-yearly check up can be done over the phone, so you do that and pay for it and then in a few months or the next year they want you to come in person or else you're not allowed to have your prescription for your rescue inhaler, as if your asthma having status has changed even though you still need it when you have an asthma attack. They are not an ER so don't expect them to just take you in on the spot without an appointment. They're open 8-5 Monday - Thursday and they're closed for lunch hour (12-1) last I knew of.
