we had a horrible experience today! I dropped my granddaughter who is 19 off at Pres now On Coors and they forgot she was in the room. She had been in there for four hours and nobody had even acknowledged her. The staff looked like they were unconcerned. I have to give credit to a young black nurse who was great! I left to get my car and I think it was the head nurse was so rude. My granddaughter said she was terribly rude. We were there probably 8 hours. Don't waste your time I worked front desk medical for 25 years I was shocked at our experience . read more

Lylah had a very painful ingrown toenail and a cellulitis infection!! After 8 hours in the middle of the night at Pres/Urgent 24 hour care without being triaged or seen by a doctor OR NURSE, we left at 4am. I could go on about the terrible service They forgot about us!!! The nurse even admitted it to us My daughter is 20 and is still finding her voice. This place is horrible. You should not even be open if you don't have any nurses or doctors to check in on you. Absolutely ridiculous. My daughter ended up having a severe case of cellulitis and they never looked at her toe!! I'm furious Today we went to Duke City Urgent Care on Montgomery near Juan Tabo and they were able to remove her toenail and start her on an antibiotic. DC was amazing!!! read more

worst experience ever! 4 hours to be moved to a room to only sit for additional hours. my daughters nail was completely lifted from her finger, slanted to where it was stabbing her. not once did someone ask if she was in pain, not once was her finger looked at or observed in the first 7 hours we were there. still here and have not received any care. absolutely sad they can treat people this way! read more

Extremely slow service. Waiting room packed with sick people so if you're not sick you will be when you leave after hours of waiting.

My second visit pres now treatment damaged my body permanently. I should have been referred to an er with the appropriate specialists.

I went to the Pres Now on Rio Bravo and Isleta; there is no entry on yelp for this location, so I'm putting it here. I went to the clinic because I was having a panic attack, so I was upset and not acting the best. The health tech and/or nurse who took my vitals near the front desk was awful to me. I tried to explain that my attitude was because of my panic attack and she bit my head off and said that was no excuse for me acting that way. I felt so unseen and so uncared for. And then I had to let her put the blood pressure cuff on me and cause I didn't have my arm the exact way she wanted it, she bit my head off about that too, when I was having a panic attack and was confused about what she was asking me. I have never been treated so badly at a doctor before. I know I had an attitude but I was having a mental health crisis! Are nurses not trained to understand that people in those situations sometimes act badly?!? If I was at a grocery store and I was giving attitude to the cashier, I would understand getting attitude back. But at a hospital clinic?!?! Where can I go to get treated okay when I'm having a particularly bad panic attack?! I guess nowhere, cause after that one incident I cannot bring myself to go to the doctor anymore. Do you guys want us to just off ourselves? Maybe they do. Sorry for the rant, it's been about a month since the incident took place and I'm still flabbergasted and in tears about the issue. Type of care was HORRIBLE!!!! Nurses were rude and had no professionalism at all! One nurse was too busy laughing on her personal phone for a majority of the time. I wasted 4 hours WITH NO CARE! I couldn't wait any longer. I told the lady it's been about 4 hours, and she said "it's only been about 2 hours!" 2!!! Smh, I got there at 6 and left at 10! With no care! I'm so mad an. Last Thursday my granddaughter and I went in as we were coughing and severely congested. We walked in, were registered as there was no line. The lobby was 3/4 full. We sat about 15 minutes when we were called back for our vitals. Told to wait in the lobby for a room. This building is clean and uncluttered. We waited for some time when another patients name was called. She was feeble and unsteady. The employee just watched her as she struggled and almost fell. I helped her to her feet and through the door. She asked the nurse for help 2 times and the employee ignored her. I sat down for 15 additional minutes when my name was called along with three other people and we were escorted outside to a shed, which I thought on arrival was a guards shack. Entering the shed, it was placed on the asphalt, the rooms were cubicles with a heavy plastic shower curtain as a door. Hard chairs to sit on, a doctor stool, a small cabinet, file holder on the wall and a trash can. There is no bathroom, you have to go back into the main building. It felt very third world country and it was cold in there. Registration came by to sign us out. We waited 2 additional hours to be seen. Both of us had upper respiratory infections. I was prescribed a steroid and inhaler. My granddaughter nothing. Not impressed, nor will we return. I was too I'll to take photos. read more

I'm absolutely furious with this place. We went in at midnight. Do not bother going here. We got registered and into triage quickly, however that's was the only thing that was quick. I can say the people that did triage on the two kids I had there were fantastic. We waited in the waiting room for over 2 1/2 hours. We spoke to a person twice, explaining I had two minors that had been in a car accident were hurting, emotional and exhausted. Then we explained one of them was dizzy and sick to stomach. We were finally called back and put in the hallway, we waited another 45 minutes there. I went to another lady and again asked and I was informed it was still going to be a long time and we hadn't even been assigned a doctor yet. At that point we walked out. The thing that ticked me off the most is watching multiple employees on their phones, and talking about things (not work related). I'm not one to complain and I do not have a problem with the employees talking to one another about non work related subjects when I'm being taken care of not to see this after 3 hours of waiting is infuriating. I've been to other urgent cares and NEVER had an experience like this. Never will I go back here and I highly recommend finding another urgent care. read more

If I could give it negative stars I would, Teresa Mazur was the provider that I saw and I had an awful experience I went in for some abdominal pain and she made me feel like a burden and said she isn't going to do an ultrasound because it's "pointless" she also said it won't help me at all it will only cause more work for them, my labs were not completely normal and she rolled her eyes when I brought up my concerns and said that I needed to follow up with my primary care doctor. I also waited over 2 hours to be seen and felt like I had no answers when I left. It was the biggest waste of time and I would not recommend anyone to get care at that location. It was dirty inside and the bathrooms had old blood in the sink. Disgusting facility and disgusting attitude of the provider. The provider should not be in the medical field with the lack of compassion that she has for patients. read more

Came in late w my fiancée as he was having issues swallowing, increasingly painful chest pains, rapid hr, a terrible splotchy rash on his face, and he was experiencing extreme cold on his hands and feet. Let's start off with some random dirty sock on the triage room floor during a pandemic...and a urine measuring device sitting on the floor of the bathroom..The girl putting on his electrodes for the ECG for his triage..was a very confused respiratory therapist. For 10 minutes she's fussing with the ECG machine and telling us "yeah it's been working off and on all day". My fiancée is now panicking because he is struggling to breathe (hr now in the high 130's). FINALLY she agrees to take us to another room that has an ECG machine... which she also was struggling to connect him to and use for another 10 minutes (also added another random electrode that wasn't connected to anything at all?) Then she has him get up to move to another (our third) room in the back. So after about 20-30 min (after we presume he's okay), a nurse walks in and asks what's going on, also informs us we don't have to wear a mask.... cool. We explain. He says "well this sounds more like a panic attack I wouldn't be too worried about it. Anyway your doctor has your blood work and ECG and will be with you shortly" is it the right time to mention that no one even started any blood work?! What blood work?! Same nurse came opening our room door 2 additional times and said "oh... sorry wrong room" with various instruments. What type of "24/7 Emergency and Urgent Care" facility is this?! No working machinery? No knowledgeable staff? No sense of urgency? Needless to say, we left when we realized he was no longer considered "emergent" about 4.5-5 hours.. and got a bland "you guys heading out?" As we passed by the nurses station. I am SO thankful our issue resolved itself. However.. due to the carelessness of staff during what could have been a life or death moment..I'd hope you really consider taking your loved ones elsewhere for any emergency services. read more

My last review was a 1. I'm in here again, and this place is worse than UNM. The Charge nurse Chance (sp?) was matter of fact, "sorry this is how we do things". Absolutely no empathy for a patient who was already waiting over 2 hours with anxiety. And the front desk lady Joslyn rudely interrupted my conversation when I was talking with another employee. No one in the place can tell you where you are in the process because I was told we place other priority patients ahead no matter when they come in. I would be in a better state if Presbyterian employees received a class on customer service, tone, and body language. read more

This place takes forever. If you go before 5:00 AM it's fine. After that you will wait 4 hours. I just left and the front desk proceeded to say, "you have only been waiting 2 hours". Rude. I went to Rio Grande Urgent care and I was seen and treated in 20 minutes. My BP at the time, due solely to my pain level was 140/101....PresNow was awesome a week ago at 5 AM. After that it gets so crowded that you won't be seen for hours and you'll get sick from everyone packed in there so tight coughing all over you. read more

This place is horrible. As a nurse myself, I know quality care; this isn't even remotely it. Brought in my 3-year-old daughter at 1 am for Croup. While we were triaged quickly, we then into a room for over 2 hours without a physician even laying eyes on her. The nurse came in, didn't even introduce herself, said "Dr. Prescribed steroids" scanned bracelet, asked if I needed help administering it, I said no, and she left. Didn't even stick around to see if I actually gave it. Never came back to check to verify if I did actually give it. After 2 hours of waiting, I stuck my head out to ask the status. There were roughly 10 nurses huddled at nursing station, laughing snd carrying on, and one eating an ice cream cone (which we were never allowed to eat at our nursing stations...) and they all laughed at me when I asked how much longer. Ice cream girl stated someone would be in shortly yet here we are... 45 minutes later still not having seen a physician. Finally saw doctor (for 4 minutes at 412 am) The rooms are a mess, with supplies all over the place and disorganized. Blood on the walls. The staff are some of the worse I've ever encountered. They easily could have gotten off their chairs to inform a pediatric patient and their mother of the plan of care. I can be understanding that there is only one physician overnight, but I will not understand or accept making patients just sit in the rooms with no explanation or information. This place is a sad excuse for a healthcare facility. Please, save your sanity and time (& $$$) and go some where else. read more

Don't waste your time coming here especially with small children. If you don't have a fever no matter how horrible you look or feel they triage you low and you wait hours to be seen. Then once you're seen they dismiss your feedback as a parent completely and send you on your way with no help. Parents know their children. We're up with our crying children at night. If the OTC Tylenol, ibuprofen or cold medicines were working, do you think parents want to sit in an urgent care for hours for no reason?! Listen to the parents and treat the children. Make them comfortable. Give them support. Sometimes it is Covid or croup or strep or pneumonia or bronchitis or an ear infection. Life isn't text book. Just because people are so sick and need emergency care or hospital admissions doesn't mean that they're not really sick. read more

Went here for a medical emergency everyone was getting seen quickly after check in, including myself I was honestly shocked especially being there around 10pm because the last thing I wanted to do is wait through the night there. First time at a presNow and I loved it I thought I would be there for hours, once seen everyone was extremely nice, helpful & knowledgeable especially the nurse that cleaned out my puncture wounds. Terrible experience. The front desk staff is extremely rude. The triage staff was horrible about explaining what tests they were performing and what the results were. I was assaulted by the Presbyterian security officer, Johnathan at the Pres Now urgent care on Coors. I answered all his questions and was cooperative. He harassed me then grabbed my belongings and then put his hands on me. He refused my request for a supervisor and refused my request for a police officer when he assaulted me and tried to throw me out in the freezing rain. I had to wait in the rain until APD arrived to make a report. I need help finding a civil rights attorney who would be interested in taking my case read more

It's 3am and I am getting home from taking my two year-old son to be seen. Writing this couldn't wait. Every single interaction that we had was phenomenal. From the second we walked in the door to the second we walked out. I wish that I had got every single person's name and wrote them down because the way we were treated was the best we have ever been treated, at any medical facility. The interactions with my son were second to none! Maybe we were just there at the right time.... But everyone knows hospitals at the midnight hour are never the right time... so I truly believe it was just the people that were there. Healthcare workers are overworked and at times the stress gets the best of them, none of that showed here. I am truly thankful for the crew that was on tonight. Went last night to take my daughter in that has extreme anxiety and they would not allow a guest in with her. If you or someone you know is sick, just take them to the emergency room or Duke city urgent care. They are so much nicer there and you can actually bring someone in with you. The staff at the emergency room was so much nicer and communicative. At press now they acted like we were wasting their time. Upon entering the emergency room, my daughter was taken back immediately due to her status when PRESNow sent her home with nothing but a call your doctor. read more

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend. She went in as a covid positive patient. After she was checked out the nurse told her she could stop crying. Her oxygen level had dropped dangerously low. It came up by the time she arrived. That gives no right for a nurse to tell her now she can stop crying. This is a pandemic and people are dying. She had every right to be scared when she couldnt breath. Covid patients are treated like they have a plague. Not like humans. Even during a pannic attack during scans. They just looked at her and offered little help. To top it off she was sent on her way with an iv port still in her arm. She had to ask a nurse outside to take it out. I understand there is so many patients and so little staff. But how about we treat them like humans with some compassion. read more

Bait and Switch with the Bill! I went in yesterday for very high blood pressure. The wait and everything was as expected (5 hours for a room, 7 hours total) but because I was there for Urgent Care services I was expecting a $50 copay. Spoiler Alert: That's not what I got. They checked my BP a few times and then once when I got back to the room but that was the last time. When the nurse came in to discharge me I asked her to check my BP again and she said I was going to be billed for an Emergency Room visit because of what they had done. I asked her what caused the switch and she said she didn't know. I asked again her to check my blood pressure before discharging me but she had some papers for me to sign about the ER switch and said she would check my BP after I signed the papers. I don't even know what I signed, only that I was freaked out about my blood pressure and wanted to see if it was better or not and I just signed the papers so she would check for me. There wasn't any change in my numbers and I still have no idea why I was reclassified for Emergency Room and why I wasn't told this was happening before they made the change. The only thing I do know is that my Urgent Care copay is $50 but my Emergency Room copay is $350 so that's just super. read more

I have no complaints and only praise for the check in, triage, medical provider, and check out personnel. The facility is gorgeous and state of the art. However, the nursing staff back in the treatment area was horrible. The doctor told me I was going to get 60 mg prednisone and Benadryl at the facility before I left. Two nurses came in, never introduced themselves, and went over my AVS as if I was a kindergartner. Quite insulting. I asked her about the medication I was supposed to be getting and she said I don't know and I've already discharged you. There is even a note on the back of my papers that says "needs meds". My nurse was supposed to be Taylor but I don't know if that was who I saw. I'm tempted to go back and see if my chart says anything about clinic administered medications. read more

After being sick for nearly two weeks I came to the new urgent care. I got checked in just before 7pm and was out with medication, post strep test at 930pm. I was triaged within 10 minutes of arriving, which was a huge relief! I also noticed staff wiping down all the chairs with cleaning solution while I was in the lobby. Since the facility is also new So seemed the equipment. The staff were all efficient, kind, patient and helpful despite being super busy. 5 stars for efficiency and great staff. read more

I have mostly good things to say about Presbyterian Hospital but my experience at this "Urgent Care" location yesterday was absolutely horrible. Where to begin? Being basically ignored for 5 hours? One out of over a dozen professional employees was pleasant, the rest were either poorly picked for hire, overworked, or hate where they work. After finally getting a room, I waited another 4 hours only to finally see the Doctor for at most 5 minutes. She seemed irritated with me and was basically unpleasant. Her bedside manners have much to be desired. The told me they would provide me with 10 days of Antibiotics, then changed to my getting nothing because they ran out of Antibiotics. They ran out? That seems like a standard drug you want in stock at all times. They then told me they called for a ride and to wait outside. I waited, and waited, and waited some more. Nobody ever came to pick me up. All in all, it was 11 hours for a five minute talk with a doctor who didn't seem interested in actually helping me. I would rather go just about anywhere before going back to this "Urgent Care" location. read more

I went in with an abscess and cellulitis infection on my inner thigh. I could barely walk and I had my baby in her car seat. I sat there for over 3 hours. Then they didn't have any rooms available, the doc was just gonna look at it right there in the open area. But they moved some drunk homeless guy out of a room. It stunk and was dirty. She took a quick look and said she can't drain the abscess. And sent me on my way. Pointless and useless people, and yes I agree with the other reviews, the staff all seamed confused about everything. I'll NEVER go back here again. read more

My son had a fever at home and when I scanned him, I got 103. I had given him some Tylenol to help reduce his fever but while I was holding him, he dropped his head back- this was not normal behavior for him. It seemed as though he passed out but it didn't last very long so, I wasn't positive but I did panic. I am a first time, single mom and I was worried about not taking that seriously. I came about 5:45pm. We waited for quite a while before being called up to the main desk for the initial check in. The woman that was checking us in (not sure of her name but had gauges and dreads) made me feel like she didn't believe me when I was explaining what happened. I mentioned him dropping his head and she said, "he just dropped his head?" "Did he lose consciousness?" - while answering her questions I was flustered. She then stated "well, he doesn't look like he had a seizure?" Making me question if coming in was even the right thing to do. She also scanned his head and didn't tell me the temp that she got. I felt like an idiot and just wanted to leave after that. I ended up staying and waiting for another hour or so. Got called back, and was out in a chair in the hallway. While waiting, I asked for a blanket for my son and during our time waiting he was in and out of sleep, had chills, all the things. At one point, he vomited on the blanket we were given while the nurse who checked us in just stood there and didn't even bother to look in my direction. I got up and walked to the sink near the nourishment section and had to hold my child over the sink to throw up in. The nurse (the one who checked us in) was standing right next to me filling up her water bottle and didn't even ask if he was okay or if I needed help. There were nurses behind me at their desk that didn't bother either. It all made me feel horrible and like I should have just left. When the doctor finally came to check on us, he mentioned that my son didn't have a fever when we first got there (making me feel like that's why the first nurse maybe didn't believe me?) but then both myself and the doctor scanned his temp again and it was in the 100's. There were a few nurses that were kind and nice overall as well as the dr but spending 3/4 hours in a chair with a toddler, no where to change my child other than on a bed in an open room, changing my son out of his clothes in my lap because they had vomit on them, feeling so uncomfortable, and like I didn't have any help out weighed the positives of this experience. I mentioned earlier that I'm a first time mom and that comes with lots of anxiety. I'm all for nurses being busy and understanding their sense of urgency for their other priorities but I'm not okay with being questioned in a way that makes me feel like I'm stupid for bringing my son in. It may not have seemed like an emergency or concern to the nurse who checked us in or surrounding nurses but it was an emergency for me so just a better attitude or towards us would have made the difference I guess. I know there are people or nurses or staff that might read this and say "who cares, get over it, then don't come back" and that's fine but I needed to just put this all out there. read more
