After a few visits the Dr indicated that custom orthotics could help me. The price would be over $600 I told him I could not afford it. He suggested the front office could research it through my insurance to see if it was covered. They agreed to do so. They called me a few days later and said I was in luck! My insurance agreed to pay. They scheduled me an appointment and ordered my orthotics. A few months later I received a bill for $670.00. plus a bill for $90. fitting fee. I was told to contact a billing agency in NJ since his office does not take care of this. The agency was very nice, but there was nothing they could do. They told me they suspected I would be calling since they had told the Dr. office this was not covered. I then called my insurance who had a record of the call from the Dr. office telling them it was not covered. I called the doctors office back they said this was my fault, I should have double checked my insurance. Even though this was their fault. I offered to split the bill. They said absolutely not. It amazes me that a professional business would not own up to their mistake. We have all had such an awful year ,(I had to close down part of my business) I am only asking them to do the right thing.

Upon arriving at the emergency department, Dr. Whitehouse introduced himself with a calm assurance and took the time to outline a comprehensive plan of care tailored for my father. His excellent bedside manner transformed a terrifying experience into a more manageable one, providing both my father and our family with a sense of reassurance. Following the surgical procedure, Dr. Whitehouse stood out as the only physician who personally took the time to update me on my father's condition. He met me at the bedside, where he thoughtfully discussed how the debridement had proceeded and carefully examined the wound. In stark contrast, the attending physician failed to reach out during the 3-4 days of my father's admission, leaving me in a state of uncertainty. I am profoundly grateful to Dr. Whitehouse for his exceptional attentiveness and compassionate care. His commitment to my father's well-being has made a significant difference in our lives, especially since he agreed to assume responsibility for my father's follow-up care. Before we found Dr. Whitehouse, we were making weekly trips to Santa Fe for podiatry and wound care visits, which were both stressful and time-consuming. Now, we visit Dr. Whitehouse weekly, and we deeply appreciate his kind demeanor and meticulous attention to my father's extensive wound care. The staff at his practice is consistently friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The facility is clean, and the convenience of restrooms in the lobby adds to the overall positive experience. Dr. Whitehouse has not only provided medical expertise but has also restored our faith in compassionate healthcare. We are truly thankful for him and the supportive environment he fosters.

I have been there for many appointments now and I've had issues each and every time. Their office staff are both incompetent and uncaring. Either they can't find my appointment in their system - which has happened several times - then I have a billing issue in which they tell me I owe them yet MORE money, and when I ask why, their explanation is completely inadequate. Meanwhile, I'm losing my place in line and other folks who have appointments behind me are essentially cutting in front of me - all because they couldn't answer some simple billing questions I had. There is always something that goes wrong with this location. To echo what many others have said on this site - do not deal with these people if you can choose elsewhere. I've seen monkeys with more functional brains.

This is a HUGE deterrent for using this office for any medical reasons and I most certainly do not recommend them. It seems that this bad behavior has been ongoing for some time now and many mistakes are made and not corrected. The billing system itself is a mess and the patient is expected to pay for bills which are not theirs. The billing department's, Mykelle, makes it up as she goes along without any truthfulness whatsoever. A huge course correction in the way this staff behaves is needed here and a complete overhaul of personnel is severely suggested. Of course, none of this will happen. I need to speak with the Doc regarding what's happening outside his exam room with this inadequate staff. Tanya won't let that happen, will not allow the Doc to know I need to speak with him. The Doc specifically repeated to me that if I had any issues which needed to be addressed, that I please get in touch with him. That includes every part of my experience with this company. I truly hope anyone looking for podiatry help will look elsewhere for your own good mental health. This place is energetically crumbling at the seams and being ripped apart from the inside out. Stay far away for your own peace of mind.
