Cured my Blepharospasm, and more…read more.. A year ago I developed an unusual condition with my eyes where they involuntarily closed and were irritated, forcing me to not be able to drive and work. After several visits to optometrists who incorrectly diagnosed the condition as dry-eye and much research later, I determined that it is a neurological condition. Getting an appointment from a neurological specialist take months; while no work or driving or normal life. More research and talking to others, an eye doctor's assistant said she had heard of this condition being treated with botox injections in the eyelids. I setup an appointment with NM Eye Associates and it helped the condition (a "band-aid" solution, not correcting the cause), but with side-affects. The best part of the botox was that now I know the problem: Blepharospasm. The condition I had is called Blepharospasm, which is an abnormal contraction of the eyelid muscles. Now that I know the condition...more research, and more options, such as acupuncture. I setup an appointment with Dr. Geoffrey N. Hayes at Endpoint Wellness. Geoffrey say me that day. I had never had acupuncture before, and didn't have an opinion regarding if I believed in eastern medicine or not. One thing is for sure, I didn't know how it worked. Geoffrey talked with be to describe the basics of opening-up or releasing the chi (energy) and blood. He said due to my condition (again, unable to work and live a normal life for months), I should receive treatment frequently at first. I received acupuncture around my eyes (mainly) and other normal spots every other day for the first couple of weeks. After the first two visit I noticed relief, I was VERY excited. Within 2 weeks the condition was much better, at least to the point where I could drive and work and live normally. We changed our appointments to 2 per week, then 1 per week, then 1 per 2 weeks, and now 1 per 3 weeks. I AM CURED!!! ENDPOINT WELLNESS saved me. In a very short time Geoffrey resolved my problem, where many other doctors could not. I now go to Endpoint Wellness about every 3 weeks. Now I ask Geoffrey to focus on other stuff in addition to my eyes; such as allergies or injuries or soreness or general tune-ups. It is amazing how far-reaching acupuncture is regarding our bodies. In addition to the acupuncture by Endpoint Wellness, some other benefits are that they take most medical insurance, they support other muscle/body rehab work, and Geoffrey is open / willing to help in any area you may need assistance. Geoffrey and Jennifer are personal, very nice, and great contributors to our health...wonderful assets to our Albuquerque community.

Everyone who works there is sluggish. Shame on Lovelace Healthcare for pretending to be in the healthcare business. This clinic is an abomination.

This place is the epitome of why a lot of people don't want to get routine healthcare. Because of…read moretheir lack of availability for primary care providers in FEBRUARY 2025, I was only able to get an appointment in 5 MONTHS. At this point, I was desperate to take the first available appointment that THEY SAID they have which is in July of 2025. Now, two days out from my appointment they call me saying that the provider's schedule changed because the provider had a meeting and they only had availability that following MONDAY, after waiting 5 months already. I told them that I couldn't wait any longer because my meds ran out 3 weeks prior and I wouldn't be able to get them without a refill. Plus, I have already taken the entire day off and I cannot reschedule my day off due to company policy. I asked if they can do it online, but they said "no, that [I] would have to come in." Which already in itself is ridiculous, since many other providers can do it over the phone. But I was getting frustrated, because I work in another healthcare clinic because they kept telling me there are no other providers. In the facility I work for, there is ALWAYS a provider that is available in case something like this happens where last minute changes occur. Plus due to the fact that this was a meeting- means that they could have scheduled this meeting a week out. At the facility, I work for, if we have a meeting that comes up we don't schedule a patient during that time or at the very least we give the patient a week in advance. I get it stuff happens at work but patient care over anything else comes first. But apparently nobody at this facility knows this. I yelled at the second lady because she was unuseful, rude, and didn't take more than 10 seconds before cutting me off when I told her I was mad at the situation. She then proceeded to hang the phone up. I called back right away and was FINALLY able to get a hold of someone (who I believe her name is Diane) who was actually helpful. She was not only able to get me through to someone who was able to help but also actually take the time to listen as to why I was upset. An hour later, I was able to be rescheduled for that same day of my original appointment to get my medications. Diane is the only reason that I would ANY positive recognition towards; everybody else deserves 0 stars.
