The next morning, a co-worker referred me to Kurtis. I am glad he did, because as soon as I gave him a call he was ready to stop by that same morning and do the repair. He mentioned he would be there between 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Not to say that I was skeptic, but at least I was happy to get a response right away and someone taking action. Curtis was on site a little after 9:00 a.m. . He was completed with the work minutes before 11:00 a. m. Now I admit, I was a little nervous at first having him come on site without providing an estimate over the phone. But I trusted my colleague's referral on his reasonable pricing. The fact is, he could not give me an accurate estimate until he looked at the work that was needed. Which is understandable. Once he gave me what he will charge, I gave the go ahead to proceed. He ended up finding a Harmonn model that fit the bill, which was more reasonably priced. The new supplier had a delay and shipping issues that weren't Ricky's fault but he constantly kept tab on things for us. After a couple of months, the door arrived and Ricky delivered/installed it within a week in less than 4 hours. It came with a fresh door track, trim and other parts. So far, we haven't had any issues and I don't anticipate any but we have a 90-day service warranty and 3 year product warranty.
