25 years ago we built our house and Geis Garage Doors did the installation of our new garage doors. Well, 25 years later it was time to replace those old doors with newer styled doors. Over the years, we have replaced our garage door openers and have always called on Geis. They have always been quick to respond and come out to the house. So, when it came time to replace our garage doors I personally stopped in at Geis and looked at the newer styled doors. When I went in their showroom to look at the new doors I was greeted promptly and asked if I could be helped. The pleasant person who greeted me quickly got someone to assist me with my questions. Immediately, Dan greeted me and assisted me with all my questions and concerns about new garage doors. After narrowing it down to two different styled doors, I had Dan give me a quote between the two styles. Dan was honest from the get go and didn't play games. I asked him how much money down he needed to order the doors and he said he didn't need any deposit, just a confirmation of which style doors we wanted. I felt very comfortable and at ease dealing with Dan and Geis. You can tell they are a family run and operated business who really care about the customer. Dan emailed me a specific quote for the doors we wanted (Carriage Style) and I sent an email back confirming his quote and giving the go ahead to order the doors. Dan said the doors would be in on March 10 and we could go ahead and set up an installation date right away. So we set up an installation appointment for the day after the doors were delivered to Geis. On March 10th, I got a confirmation call from Geis confirming the doors had arrived and confirming our installation for the next day. Great follow up and done just as promised. Installation day: 9:30 am - Installer arrives to install the garage doors as per our appointment time. I came to find out that the installer (Dave) was someone I went to high school with. That not only made for an "ice breaker" but during the installation we actually were reminiscing about our high school years. Boy, did I feel suddenly feel old! Dave did a SUPERB job on the installation. Afterwords, he swept up the garage floor where saw dust had gathered from drilling holes in the wood. I mentioned to Dave that out of our three cars we hadn't been able to program our homelink garage door openers in the cars to the overhead openers. He said "when I'm done with the install, I would be happy to help you program the openers." So, after the installation was complete, Dave generously took the time to help me program each car so we could use our homelink buttons in the car. This clearly is way over the top service!! I could never get the garage openers to program to our cars all these years and in 10 minutes, Dave had all the cars programmed. Now that's customer service. As a long time customer of Geis, I can tell you I will never go anywhere else for anything pertaining to garage doors, openers etc. Geis has proven to me that they know how to keep a customer for life. When we purchased our home several years ago, Geis had been the company that installed the original garage door. We have contacted them on several occasions for either repair or installation of a new garage door opener. Every time they came out, they were friendly, prompt, and did quality work. They were first on our list when we recently decided to upgrade our garage door. From the moment we walked into the showroom, we knew we had made the right choice! Jim was very helpful, walking us through our options and providing recommendations based on our feedback. Once we decided on the door, Jim came out to our house, on the day promised, at the time promised, and finalized the price just as quoted at the showroom. Delivery of the door again was on the day promised, at the time promised! Sean was friendly, installed the door in record time, and then spent time walking me through proper maintenance. Geis was selected by our builder 11 years ago for our garage door. We had one adjustment a year after construction was complete and they haven't been back until last week. Ten years later and it was the same technician, Chris O'Boyle! That says a lot about a great company with loyal employees! Scheduled a "tune up" and asked for a new weatherstrip be added (since a small portion had broken away.) Chris did the work quickly and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. After my husband asked about Wi-Fi enabled opener technology, Chris grabbed some literature for him for future consideration. Priced out garage doors and door openers after we crushed ours due to a malfunction. Even the home store in our area couldn't compete with the price we got from GEIS. We were able to get a higher quality door installed for about the same price as the big box store. They quoted us, and scheduled instillation for the next business day. The employee (Dakota) came out and installed the door. He was efficient, communicative, and left our garage spotless. He helped us program the code for the door as well as some extra features with the opener. Dakota made sure all of our questions were answered and was very professional. Couldn't open garage door at our home. I called GEIS and next day Jason Paddock arrived at our home. He called to let us know he was coming. He was prompt and really professional. He fixed the door by replacing springs. We had everything explained to us and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't going to be expensive repair. He was honest, fair and quick. He then tightened up every bolt on our door and our door runs better than it did since we bought the home. Turns out the previous owner had wrong springs installed. If I have any problems again, I'm calling Jason at GEIS. Don't worry call this company. read more

I had a similar experience to the posting done on 2/26/18, because of the level of help and service that we recieved. It was far beyond of what I could have expcted. On Saturday when opening my garage door, the spring broke and the door came down hard. Both myself and my wife attempted to lift it with the idea of propping it open to get the car out, but no luck. I called Geis and they were very very fair and helpfull. They sent Phillip, their service tech out later that same day and my door is fixed and running better than ever. I don't have the easiest garage to get in and out of. Headroom is limited and the space available for a garage door to roll up into is rather tight, as well. The guys at Geis helped me find a product that would work and installation was pain-free considering that this was a new product and their installer hadn't fitted one of them until he did ours. Since then I have had to call them out a couple of times and find them to be prompt, efficient and more than reasonable price-wise. Good people who look after their customers. read more

I tried calling 5 different companies from the phone book all which advertised 24 hour service, and the only company that answered the phone was Geis. They had a technician there within the hour. I've used Geis as an investment property owner at my duplex and they also have the contract for the garage door at my condo building. I have found them to be very honest and objective and when the first solution didn't work they were very quick to provide an alternative that did eventually work out very well! Phillip and TomS did a great job replacing current rodent chewed-up base strip on our two cars garage. Installed a rodent resistant new base. They were very professional, on time, thorough, worked quickly, were informational, and cleaned up after themselves. They seem booked for a couple of days all the time, so if you are in hurry, you may be upset by that. I wasn't in a hurry to fix the door springs. We managed to open the garage door manually, so I waited. Chris O'Boyle from Geis was professional, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. Very efficient and helpful. Good service, great price. GEIS came out to fix my door and I got both springs and a cable replaced cheaper than my neighbor who called someone else to replace one spring! The service guy was on time and he even called on the way over. The door was fixed pretty quick, and he tested everything to make sure it was right. Called Geis after another company did not do a very good job installing the previous opener. Tech was here on time and was very professional. Installed the new opener and did a tune up on the door. Everything works so much better now and it is quiet! Very happy with Geis and Sean (technician) and would definitely recommend them to anybody that has a need for garage door openers. read more
