It is exactly what the area needs to bring in more gourmet food to Miracle Mile. They are located right in the corner next to the Italian deli. It's the perfect size with a good amount of seating outdoors. Really cute and vibey. Ordering can be kinda overwhelming- especially for me as we are a family of 5. But it's pretty forward with all the details on the menu. Just don't forget to add snow cap, azuki beans, and mochi!! Those are my non negotiables. Shave Ice is perfect on a hot day or even a chilly one, doesn't matter!! I could eat No Ka Oi all daaaay.

Aloha Ice falls into its own category. Having visited Kauai and Oahu multiple times, we have yet to discover any shave ice as good as Aloha Ice. Everything they serve is homemade especially the syrups! Their range of flavors simply cannot be compared to just any other "Torani" syrup, Rita's Italian Ice, 7/11 Icee or any sno-cone out there portraying to be "shave ice."

The ice texture was on par with the one in Hawaii! Super soft, and soaks up the flavors really well. Definitely recommend adding the condensed milk as it added the perfect sweetness and creaminess. They use vanilla bean ice cream, which I thought was a bit too vanilla bean forward, and which I opted for their coconut ice cream instead. Service was super quick, and they have signage posted that if you want more flavoring, you can ask for more! Will definitely be back in the future
