BUT STOCKTON OPENED UP and I was like ok kind of closer lol honestly, it's perfect because it's no our go-to after an LA trip and we drive through that way going home. I'm not too familiar with the Stockton area, but I'm assuming it's in a downtown location. I like that they have a corner location with a good amount of parking. They have a shared lot and street parking. They have outdoor seating only. They serve GUNTHER'S ICE CREAM! IYKYK. ALWAYS, always get ice cream with your shave ice. Trust. Anywho, service was quick. Staff was welcoming and nice. It's pretty chill in there, too. The quality and quantity of the shave ice is exactly what you'd get if you were to go to Hawaii for Ululani's. Personally, my #1 go-to is Local Motion with snow cap, li hing mui drizzle and the powder. I just love, love the Li Hing Mui flavor!! The more, the better! You can either order one of their set creations or make your own! Don't be nervous to mix and match flavors! So next time you're craving shave ice, please check out Ululani's! Aloha Ice falls into its own category. Having visited Kauai and Oahu multiple times, we have yet to discover any shave ice as good as Aloha Ice. Everything they serve is homemade especially the syrups! Their range of flavors simply cannot be compared to just any other "Torani" syrup, Rita's Italian Ice, 7/11 Icee or any sno-cone out there portraying to be "shave ice."

Yessuh! Finally got my first Maui shave ice in the Bay Area since I moved out of Hawaii ages ago…read more It was really busy on Sunday and hot outside while waiting in line for about 20 minutes. It was nice of them to put out a water cart to keep us hydrated, offer outdoor seating with shade, and a menu to decide which one to order. I ordered the Local Motion with Haupia cream (extra $1.25) and free Li Hing Mui powder. I was expecting more Haupia cream on top since it looked light, but it's okay; I finished the whole original bowl in one sitting since the ice was so fluffy to dig in. Probably should've gotten the Keiki size since I ate alone. I could taste more mango than pineapple, and it goes well with li hing mui powder. You can also customize any three flavors you want with any toppings. They even offer new Spam musubi (not sure why they spell it as "Masubi"), which I don't recommend getting since it's small like an iPod Nano, and the Spam was overcooked or overheated with the rice. The shop was small with Hawaii-imported snacks, cute stickers, keychains, and clothes. I went home with a cute sticker. Overall, I would go back to try more shave ice flavors and toppings as long as I try to go on weekdays to ditch the long lines. It's kind of a drive, but I pray they open more locations near the Tri-Cities area/ South Bay.
