The floor to ceiling windows would provide a great view of the lake and on a return visit, I would come in earlier. Unfortunately I missed the view as I came in for a nightcap. Thankfully the space was decorated for the Halloween holiday and very festive. There is a nice variety of wine and cocktails on the menu. There is also some small bites available for purchase ie cheese and crackers. The cocktail menu is curated by an external consultant and changes seasonally but creative nonetheless. This meant I couldn't ask as many questions about how the cocktails were conceived or what they were planning for the upcoming season. There were definitely some that were combinations that I've not seen before! The staff were kind and engaging. I genuinely appreciated the company and conversation as a solo drinker.

It's the perfect fancy cozy with velvet and wood. The cocktails are magnificent and the wine selection is great and the flights are so fun. The bartender Em is a sweetheart. We went two Tuesdays in a row and she had great recommendations both times and makes wonderful cocktails. She recognized us the second time and I felt like I have known her forever. I can't wait to go back.

Despite that our party of six was seated quickly and we were offered dining room, patio or covered patio tables. We chose the dining room which is cute, dark and unfortunately a bit loud. Our service was good and our server was friendly, but it was difficult to hear her and her us.A couple of us had Manhattans, which were very good, but the glasses were different sizes, which made me think maybe mine was not the same volume. My dad ordered the beef Marsala pasta, which was a generous serving and he seemed to enjoy it. The rest of us ordered different pizzas - everyone liked their choice but there were a couple standouts. The walnut was a revelation, walnut puree, fontina cheese, whipped cream cheese, mushrooms, and roasted walnuts. It was unique and tasty. My truffle pizza was also excellent, with authentic flavor and not the overwhelming fake truffle notes you sometimes get. The sausage pizza was also good, according to my BF.

You get a card that's attached to your method of payment, and then you just insert it into the dispenser of the wine you'd like to try. All the prices are displayed for each pour you could choose, which I much appreciated. I want to know the damage before I get the check. Hubby stuck with whiskey cocktails; that and the wine were terrific. We did a little build your own charcuterie which was very reasonably priced and presented so damn cute. They have a cheese shop for tourists like us to load up on WI cheese to take big ass charcuterie spreads back to the hotel (and home). The staff were so friendly. We had an absolute blast here and would go out of our way to come back if ever in the area.

Both have different business plans. Spring City offers a way for you to try, sample, taste and drink a wide variety of wines that changes frequently. Just a great spot to unwind with your significant other or with a larger group. Plenty of parking around the corner or up the street a bit. Yes, downtown Waukesha can be difficult to drive and find parking but there really is plenty of parking. Cheers!

I ordered the chicken tenders and the person with me ordered the brie platter. Both were amazing. My chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had. I don't know what they used in the breading, but it was excellent. I tried a tasting of the sweet wines and love the blackberry wine and the peach Chardonnay. They also have outdoor seating. Both the wine and the chocolates were very nice. We wound up buying a bottle of the Tuscan reserve to take home with some of the chocolates we couldn't finish. After a rest we came back for dinner at the Granary Bourbon bar. We were warmly welcomed. We liked the casual vibe and surprisingly it was not too loud. We started with a flight of old fashioned cocktails. We tried vanilla bean, honeycomb, and our favorite the cinnamon appke. For dinner we both had the Friday perch fry. The perch itself was very good with a nice panko coating. The fries were good too but they could have been warmer. Our server was very attentive and friendly. They were definitely on the game. Can't wait to return!
