The meat was tender though the flavor profile leaned more mild than bold. If you prefer heavier seasoning, you'll definitely want to add some heat. The absolute standout was the homemade red hot sauce. It brought serious flavor and just the right kick -- it completely elevated the meal. Service was friendly and welcoming, though a bit on the slower side which matches the relaxed vibe. It seems they do a big takeout business too.

One thing I really appreciate is their QR code ordering system. You can order at your own pace, whether you're looking for a quick meal between shopping stops or want to settle in and enjoy a more relaxed dining experience. It's a simple system that makes the whole experience feel effortless. Our group's go-to order is the trio appetizer to share, followed by one or two tacos each. Everything is flavorful and just the right portion size, making it easy to mix and match different tacos each visit. Bartaco is almost always busy, so expect a 10-30 minute wait during peak times. Thankfully, with so many shops nearby, the wait goes by quickly and is well worth it. Between the convenient location, good food, and laid-back atmosphere, it's a spot we find ourselves coming back to again and again.

The drinks were decent, and the service was good, so I'll give them credit for that. But the seating? I'm not even sure I'd call those booths. Somehow, they managed to make them less comfortable than the stools at the bar. We ordered three different tacos, and every single one was overwhelmingly spicy. Not the kind of heat that complements the flavor, but the kind that completely destroys it. At that point, I couldn't tell whether the spice was masking the flavor or hiding the fact that there wasn't any to begin with. Oddly enough, everything seemed to be missing salt, except the chips and salsa, which had plenty. Unfortunately, the chips were burnt, so even that was a disappointment. Three stars for the friendly service, decent drinks, and especially the fantastic hostess. As for the food, I'd rather taste what I'm eating than have my taste buds assaulted into submission.
