She made the initial appointment with no problem. Our appointment was for 11am. The company never showed up on the day of the job after we waited for hours. We called constantly and finally someone called back, apologized and said that they would come out between 6pm and 8pm! We told them that we had waited long enough so we rescheduled. They cancelled that appointment as well. After that they rescheduled and did not show or cancelled a total of FIVE TIMES before we said "no thanks". Everyone we spoke to trying to resolve the situation was unprofessional, clueless and made promises that they could not keep. We called another shredding company who came the very next day and took care of the job.

Public Storage on the same block is an unprofessional mess. Safeguard self-storage is by far a superior customer service and storage experience.

Company owner refused to refund me or compensate me for anything that was broken forcing me to commence legal proceedings. All that was offered was random TVs and furniture that was clearly stolen from other moves. Save yourself the time and grief and hire an actual white glove delivery service. make sure they are bonded and never ever use Deland Moving Logistics for your move.

First of all, our new house is actually entirely renovated. We just moved in after they finished renovations, with nice new walls and wooden floors, entirely clean. For more cleanliness we even paid an extra cleaning from the landlord. The movers came with my father-in-law's furniture. They began to move everything to the house with not much care. As a result, our new and just painted walls are now decorated with scratches and black prints of dirty hands. Our new wooden floors are full of scratches and we'll need to request a new cleaning and probably polish the floors. One of the scratches is a serious one. The landlord was present when all this happened. One of the parts of the closet came with what looks as a well developed humidity. The furniture had been 5 years in storage. The central piece of furniture is a big glass and aluminum table. The movers had no idea of how to mount it. They did it wrong and they damaged the central piece. Plus, they forgot the glass part. When the movers came back to put the glass piece on the dining table 2 days later, the driver-boss came with new personnel. One of them was a professional "arguer." Because we had complained, they were very aggressive, and they began telling me that they didn't believe a word of our complaints. This is not a good way to start a conversation. They claimed that the damages to the walls and floors cannot be proven that are theirs. They claimed that the well developed humidity in that part of the closet was actually carpenter's glue or similar. Of course, before taking the picture as proof the "arguer" carefully removed the fungus. I got a picture of him while removing it. As for the table, they realized they didn't mount it correctly. They had to take the entire table--with the glass they were delivering to us--to have it mounted at their offices, because they have no idea of how to mount the table. Overall, these movers have no idea of how to do their job and be professional with customers. We were polite, helpful, and welcoming, we offer them everything we had on the fridge to drink, and we tipped them generously. The driver-boss was another story. The way I was treated was extremely rude and aggressive, to the point to start a quarrel. You can't treat clients as trash and accuse him to be liars when they have complained about some issue with the job. It's a hard job, but it's part of the job. I never experienced something similar with movers before.

I reached out to this company (Zippy Shell) to get pricing on a move. I was quoted a price for a 2.5 bedroom long distance move, I thanked the individual, and said I wanted to continue shopping around. They then reduced the price so I wouldn't need to. I decided to go with their service. When the move happens, I receive two 8 foot pods, and I pack them, find out I need a little more room, I call them for another one just to get pricing. I then find out that apparently they only quoted me for one, they only have one having been delivered, EVEN THOUGH THEY DELIVERED TWO, and then I would need to pay more. So they tried to up the price $800 to move the second pod that was ALREADY delivered and packed. Because they match quotes, I sent them to U-Haul quotes for the exact same pod delivery system for both a 2 and 3 pod delivery, and they informed me that they do not match U-Haul because they do not see U-Haul as a true competitor. To add insult to injury, I received a call from one of the most condescending and dismissive "customer" service representatives I have ever spoken with. She called to tell me about the price increase, never ONCE apologized for their oversight/way they handled this interaction, and then when I asked to speak to someone with more empathy and customer skill, she said someone would call me back to go over pricing. In short, a company that doesn't double check its records, take responsibility for their actions, nor know how to treat customers that pay to keep their lights on. I will post a follow up once this is fully resolved. UPDATE: I was told that I would be charged ~$1,550 for the additional container. They ended up charging me $1,717.19 and a fuel charge of $141 that no one told me about. All in all, this move was significantly more than if I had gone with U-Haul's complimentary service, and I wish I had continued to shop around. I would absolutely give them 0 starts but it isn't possible!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!
