Bad business practice. Items are marked for sale with a price tag but when you try to purchase are told the Plant is part of the owners private collection and not for sale. Many many items are marked "not for sale" RIDICULOUS but at least marked as so. Unacceptable when an item has a price tag attached and you are still told "not for sale" ​ read more

Oh, at the pleasure of stopping by this establishment to look for a gift for a special friend and I was so happy that I did the young lady that assisted me. I'm sorry I can't remember her name right off, but she was very kind and so helpful I ended up purchasing two gifts with the help of her ideas. They have beautiful pottery and beautiful plants and it makes you wanna just walk around in see everything on display. Highly recommend this Nursery. Last weekend I purchased two Christmas Palms. The Staff there was extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere here was completely different from the last location I went to looking for palm trees. Anyways, each palm tree was $120. The wonderful thing about this location is they are military friendly! They also have organic soil for the cost of $10 a bag or regular planting soil for $20. With the purchase of the palm trees they do give you a ziplock bag of nutrients and instructions on how to care for them for 30 days. I was really impressed with this location and satisfied with their customer service. After purchasing the palm trees they loaded them up in our truck and added read tape to them so we could safely drive them to our home. I live very far from this nursery but I was in the area for a birthday celebration and stopped in to look at their orchids. While there in the orchid area there was one I became interested in. Arianna, an employee said that the owner said it was a rare orchid, since I collect orchids I purchased it for $40.00. When I got home and researched the plant I found out it was not an orchid at all but a lilly. Beautiful lilies can be found for $12 to $15. I contacted the nursery and said I would keep the lilly since I was so far away and asked if they would refund me the difference between the cost of the plants. After a few attempts to resolve the situation the owner had Arianna call me to tell me he was unwilling to do anything about their mistake unless I drove back to the nursery, which would cost me more than what I was requesting. Be sure to do your research before buying anything here because they are not reasonable at all and will sell you one plant for another. $40 is a lot for me to spend on a plant and honestly I am not a happy camper right now. Got a price to redo my whole house front, side and back yards. I did all the ripping out of previous landscape. in the end, it ended up being just about double the price and many of the plants died. I was told they would be replaced and they were not. Kept calling with no results. I do not recommend! Buyer beware!!!! Very disappointing! i believe they give a lower price to get the job. I am a notorious black thumb. Every plant that I have ever tried to take care of has died within a couple of weeks. I was told about this place by a friend back in September and went there to purchase plants to place on the front porch. The staff was awesome! They basically placed my plants in the planter and put some fertilizer in so they would grow. It is 3 1/2 months later and I couldn't be happier with the results on my front porch. Stopped in for the first time just to look! And they got me real good, so many great plants to chose from and Chappie helped us pick the best flower in the place. Walked in just to look and we walked out with a raspberry chocolate orchid that Chappie helped up pick out, a succulent garden and a few little pots with smaller succulents in there. I've been a loyal customer for many years now. However, just recently I purchased some garden flowers, but when I got home, I didn't like them in the garden. I thought, No worries, I'll just take them back the next day. Unfortunately, because I paid by debit, they could not return my money. The lady said she cannot make cash refunds. Say what? I could not comprehend this. So as long as you pay by credit card, you are ok. Do not pay by cash or debit because if by the off chance you have to return, you cannot.... only have to find something else.... even if it is just a planter. I met with the owner to select items to plant under a large Sylvester Palm. He asked for pictures of the Sylvester palm and location to the property. So I came home to pictures of the house and of the trees the front of the house and went back to the nursery. We review the pictures together. He recommended several plants and I chose from them. He and his crew came out and planted them. I spent close to $900. All of one of the plants I chose failed to thrive. I called the nursery every day for a week asking for someone if you want to come out to take a look at the plants. Everyday they promised to send someone out the following day and no one ever came. I finally took pictures of the plants went to the nursery and talked to one of the associates there. He he called me back later that day after speaking with the owner and advised that the owner said to check the soil acidity. Come to find out, it wasn't the soil. The plants he recommended and planted for me needed sun. They were not receiving enough since they were planted under the Sylvester palm. He should have known this. No one ever came to look at the plants or offer any remedy. I will not patronize the nursery again. Pictures included. read more

What an awful experience! We spent thousands and were assured they would replace any dead plants and ensure their work. Within a week, not only weeds but GRASS grew right through the mulch as if it wasn't even there and half our plants in the backyard are either dead or dying. We had discussed ground cover and no ground cover was ever placed. It is now WEEK 5 of trying to get them to come fix their mistake. They have "no showed" to EIGHT appointments we've had with them with every excuse under the sun: car troubles, sickness, etc. Must be nice to have a job you don't have to go to for weeks due to car trouble without getting fired! DO NOT use these crooks! What a rip off! We might as well have just taken thousands of dollars and threw it out the window! We STILL have not had anyone come out and our yard looks worse than it did before they came! I'm horrified that people can do business this way!!! How do people like this live with themselves??? read more

DO NOT SHOP AT KEEP IT GREEN NURSERY IN APOLLO BEACH, FL. Even Walmart gives one year warranty on plants. They sold us a diseased palm tree and the owner refuses to replace it or refund our money even though we started complaining to the sales person within the 90 day time period. Keep It Green had served our Apollo Beach home flawlessly over the past five years. At least once a week someone will stop and ask where we get our plants. It was a scared experience with this nursery company. They increased the price contracted for about double without discussing with customer before doing the contracted garden work. If you argue with them about the charge significantly increased, they would send several big men to destroy every thing they did on garden.
