I was going to another plasma facility and my niece told me about where she was going and how a great place it was. So I decided to go. The first time was good and quick. Every body was very friendly and the service good . The second time was horrible. It took very long to get seated to donate. So many ppl were waiting to be seated to donate and no one was being called. The workers were just standing around. Alot of empty beds and one person called every 15 minutes. The manager is rude and incompetent, arrogant as well. They leave you waiting to be called for a long while and no one is doing anything. The one guy that stuck me left me at the end because there was a blockage at the end of the donation. Fix it! Don't just leave me there like it's going to go away by itself...it does not. I'm always well taken care of at this facility. The staff is quick and gets me in while getting me out as fast as they can. The manager has come up to me a couple times in the past. They always walk me through the steps of after care which I appreciate. Donating plasma here has honestly been the simplest it has ever been. read more

Be careful when posing good things about a company. My first visit was wonderfull but my second was a disaster. I came in. I waited my turn. It was only my second time. Got a tech name, Ivan and he was horrible. He stabbed my arm like he had an ice pick trying to break a big block of ice. I don't know if this was racially motivated or if he was just careless irresponsible, reckless and very unprofessional worker. After the painful stab in the arm, he didn't bother to connect the tubing to the bottle, to collect the blood in. This is only my, second time I didn't know I had to monitor the techs to see if they're doing their job right. So, I am squeezing my little ball, not knowing that none of my blood is going in the container. It's running all over the table all over the the machine and running all down to the floor. Another tech saw the dilemma of me losing, in my life saving blood all over everything, and came to my rescue, and stopped the madness. This careless tech Ivan. Never apologize or made any excuse or effort to clean up the mess. He just smirked a grin. Like this was some kind of joke. He hooked up 3 other people along the way while I sat around all this puddle of blood as if I wasn't even sitting there. Tech Ivan announce out loud that he thinks he deserves to go home. And leaves. The manager didn't apologize are anyone else around.They all Witnesses the aftermath, and just smile, while the Manager tried to clean up the mess. They did give me a child size gatorade. And told me I would still get paid, and deferred for 56 days. Hour or so later, I went to an ATM, I hadn't received anything. I had to call request my payment to finally received it. Awful experience at this location. Before getting into the details, I ate 2 meals and drank tons of water before my visit to insure I would be able to make it through giving plasma. When the lady got ready to poke my vein she said "I don't know if I can get it on this arm." Which I replied "that's okay if you need to use the other one." Instead of using my other arm, or stating she wasn't going to be able to fulfill my visit, she stuck the needle through my arm. In the end, I was left with a hematoma after she had to stuck me twice, and got deferred because she made the excuse that I was dehydrated. Won't be coming back again sadly, I really wanted to help those in need but now I will have to wait until I can go to a different location. I hope they find more experienced people who are honest. read more

I have been to BPL Plasma several times. The first time, I went through the sign up procedures to include giving a blood sample, then went to donate plasma. The person putting the needle in my arm didn't know what they were doing and put the needle through the vain instead of in the vain, leaving a big bruise on my arm. I had to wait several weeks for it to go away so they could use that arm again. I go back and they had no record I gave blood samples. This meant I had to give samples again, and would be unable to donate plasma, so no money. I waited 2 weeks for them to get my results back, then I go in. I was then told there was a problem at the testing facility, and my blood samples were destroyed, I would have to do it AGAIN, meaning no money. Nothing but problems there. I'll go somewhere that knows what they are doing. read more

How good is BPL on WW White u ask? Well i got there at 3:30 pm.... Didn't get stuck till around 7:50 then on top of that the lady who re poked me left me with this.... Which is painful!!! Also she said because I didn't donate at least half I only got paid 37$ which I know I produced at least 430 which should be about half. So In short it was a horrible experience I wasted 5 hrs of my life for $37... I've donated here for almost a year and it gets worse and worse. The staff is super slow... and management is trash too. Like no one absolutely cares.... I've already emailed corporate so there's that obviously no change. These pictures are from when I got stuck Monday it's now Wednesday. And I told them I was in pain and they did nothing when I said I felt lightheaded and my arm was swelling. They looked at me like I was over reacting.... Also they check ur vitals let you leave and come back!!!! Like I know that's not correct. read more

This place is trash as hell. Their staff is unprofessional, they're ghetto, and I could've swore that one of em was under the influence. They're very unorganized. They look like they have no clue what they're doing and to me this plasma is the last place you wanna donate to. They can't stick right, they can't even setup the machines right. If you're gonna plan on donating, be aware that you are gonna be in that place for at least 4 hrs. That's not even me over exaggerating, I showed right when they opened at 6am and didn't leave till almost 11am. It's the most ridiculous place and I really advise that NOBODY donates here. They are the LAST place you wanna be stuck at. You might as well ask for a job application here bc they will use the excuse that they're "understaffed" for everything you ask em for. read more

I was not happy at all due to the fact that they fat shamed ME, are very Prejudiced, and misleading. I was referred by a friend to come in I myself am 5-11 and weigh over 225 my body does tend to swell up with water retention due to my job which is 12 hours LONG and also during my monthly period, like every OTHER WOMAN in the world. I explained this to them very calmly during my mock physical that they give you when you donate for first time These young ladies WHO are not medical doctors they have a CNA certification. Told me that I need to go see professional doctor about my problem because there might be an underline issue. I'm sorry where did you get your medical license from ? so when I explained to them, I had my physical that I'm just somebody who tends to swell and I'm not a skinny person so you know this is just how my body is at times. They simply ignored what I was trying to say and push their agenda which was you can't donate here. I truly believe, if I was a white thin woman who had a swollen ankle, and gave the same explanation. I would have been in the donor chair within minutes. Oh and by the way this was my second trip the first trip is when they told me oh let the swelling go down, no worries but you need to go see a doctor. when I already explained that it's simply just swelling . I came back the next day again they STILL turned me away. My ankles definitely not as swollen as they were the first time, she put a glove on, and barely touched me and told me know you need to go see a medical doctor before you can do donate with us. Again where did you go to medical school. I donate for many reasons, I am on the donor registry so I donate blood, I donate plasma, I would donate a kidney if I could. My daughter received a liver from a donor when she was 1 years old which saved her life so I'm always looking for a way to give back. And of course the money is great as well ,but it's unfortunate they prejudge me when I do not have a medical condition . IM JUS NOT size 6. read more
