They are professional as much as keeping the facility clean and adherence to process for each donor to have the best possible experience. The staff who stick the needles in you are very rude. The onsite nurse, doctor and vitals staff are very friendly and I love the process . They definitely need to screen the staff on the floor as they are extremely rude. The way you can use your phone to complete your check in now that's fantastic and quick. Marbach road is a completely better center. I have gone to that one and once you're done they unhook you fast and quick NB location can have you finished and you're sitting there for 10 to 20 min just to get unhooked. Crazy!!!! read more

Being the amateur he is, the phlebotomist, at the Fredericksburg location in San Antonio, stuck the needle all the way in my arm. They end up having to cancel the donation and tell me I can't donate for 56 days. So I suffer the consequence for this person's incompetency. Then when I voice my frustration, in a very appropriate way, they have the audacity to say I need to change my attitude. Then all top of all of that, they threaten me saying they can have me deferred from all plasma centers. All this because of their unaccountability and incompetency. My bf and I recently started going to this location because it was closer to where we live. They're a little slower here than Fredricksburg. My bf told the people on the floor that they were to slow after having to call someone from another row to come by and help because two woman just kept talking. I'm patient he's not I tell him to leave it alone it happens. Now he has to talk to management, because he vents his frustration in a constructive way? Yeah no. He didn't go all Karen on anyone, he just told someone who came to help that the the people who were supposed to help was to slow. That's fine. There are other companies we can go to, if this is how your treat criticism without profanity or throwing fits. Where they prioritize their staff talking amongst themselves over doing their job we'll have not part in it. read more

Every employee here is unprofessional! There's unclean beds blood on walls and to top it off this facility has long wait times. They messed up the machine so they had to re stick me! The compensation is not worth the stress! Some of the employees have body orders and stand right over you! The employees are ghetto and just stand around talking and laughing. I went to donate, happy mood talking to the screeners and they were great. Then I went back to Phlebotomist and was having conversation with her about her day, then she pokes me and it is not right, then she pokes again blood starts dripping out and then she keeps on digging and more blood is coming out. So I was "I think we need to get someone else." She said I am done with you and gets someone else leaving blood down my arm and not cleaning it up. The second Phelbotismist comes over and pokes me some more, can get it and draws more blood out. During that time I was like Jesus, all this blood. They get a third phelbotismist, she talked down to me from the beginning. Then when I was irritated it took three people to try to poke me and mind you I have never had any issues like that before. She says "We need to use your other arm." I said I can't. "Who told you that, I said Medical. "Well that is not in your chart. Then she goes to poke my right arm and almost poked me with Iodine, I am allergic to it and I said "Whoa, you can't do that." Then she says later "I am going to put a nasty note in your chart" Then proceeds to say can I use this tape sarcastically. Then my arm I bend looking at the blood still on my other arm trying to see how much of my arm is bloody and it was. They failed to clean me up properly, treated me poorly. Then I developed a bruise on my right arm and she ended my donation and said Wrap her up, I am done with her. The kicker of this whole situation is no one on the whole staff was wearing a name tag and the last person refused to give me her name. This was an awful experience and I felt treated very bad. first timer, walked in and there was absolutely no help i waited around for someone to come up to the desk and he just looked at me like ???? i told him it was my first time and he just set pages in front of me and walked off he then finally took me to the back to get my veins checked , i asked him how long the process would be and he said about 2-3 hours max i went back to the waiting room and waited 4 hours just to do my physical and screening...there was no snacks or even water offered or provided which is an issue if you can't eat for 4 hours before and have to stay hydrated most staff doesn't seem to care and doesn't seem to be helpful and the place smells like body odor and piss and don't even have a comfortable seating arrangement not comfortable for anyone waiting for hours read more

Great plasma center treated me like family when the one on Fredericksburg said they couldn't find my vein twice. When I went into this location they were able to find vein quickly and get me signed up. Wait times are more than marbach location but they have less beds so it ain't there fault. Well, I wanted to donate my plasma because I never got to in the past...they wouldn't take me because I have my maiden name on my social but not on my drivers license. I don't use my maiden name on anything aside from it having to be on my social. I even shoes the front desk lady a utility bill showing it's only first middle and married last name...I guess my plasma isn't important enough to donate because I don't use my maiden name. I give this place 0 stars but I have to make 1 in order to write this review. read more

Be ready to be in line for 3 hours. There are not many beds and not much staff. Go to either the Fredricksburg or Marbach location if you're in a rush. Their staff is fair but the wait time is outrageous. read more

The ONLY reason I am leaving a 1-star review is because I cannot give it 0 stars. I will say that those writing positive reviews for this location have simply never been to any other location. I have been a regular donor at CSL Plasma since 2008, while in San Antonio, always at the Fredericksburg location and I will say the Fredericksburg location is the BEST. I tried this location due to it being just 3 minutes away from my new home and I will regret it for the rest of my life. The staff here has no sense of urgency and ALL look as if they just wanted to scare people away, so they didn't have to work. I was waiting for almost 40 minutes just to be "screened". After that they told me I had to be seen by the nurse. When I asked the reason, they just said they didn't know. From there I went to the waiting area for the nurse, here I waited for 38 minutes and all this wait just to tell me that I needed to get a protein test during this donation. So now I am in a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. When I asked if I would be skipped since I had to wait so long for the nurse just to be told something that could have been informed to me during the screening, they said no. Now I am waiting in the line to get passed to the donor floor. Here I am for 35 more minutes during which I contemplated leaving more than 100 times but did not because the nurse said that if I didn't donate that day, I would not be able to donate for the following few weeks. So then after 35 minutes they pass me to the donor floor and here I am with enough time to write this review which has taken me already 25 minutes and still no one has even come to set up the machine. During this time, I have seen the employees argue with each other because one does not want to disconnect a donor that already finish from before I sat down. I was also able to notice that every trashcan in the facility was overloading with trash. So now after 30 minutes I finally get someone to begin set up of the machine. I will say this is my first and LAST visit to this location. I will gladly drive 30 minutes to the Fredericksburg location and be sure to let them know how HORRIBLE my experience was here. BE WARNED ... DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE NOTHING EVEN TO DO THE DAY YOU COME. read more
