When I asked him if someone could help me, he said he didnt know anything and he had two people waiting for him. He went to a room and closed the door. Yes, a plasma facility can usually retest a donor after a false positive result to potentially…read moreallow them to donate again, depending on the specific circumstances and the facility's policies, which often involve a waiting period and additional confirmatory testing to verify the initial positive result was a false positive. National Donor Deferral Registry: A false positive can put a donor on a national list preventing them from donating at participating centers, but if retesting confirms a false positive, they may be able to donate again. Retesting process: If a donor receives a positive result, the facility may require a waiting period before retesting to ensure accuracy. "The FDA revised its guidelines to allow blood centers to do additional work with these donors - for example, by doing additional rounds of retesting - which can eliminate false positive test results and qualify them to give blood again," said Samantha Gomez Ngamsuntikul, the center's associate medical director.Aug 29, 2022 I'm still waiting for them to give me the opportunity for a retest after the waiting period and the false positive I don't need a staff worker to look at me and tell me that they can't help me giving me excuses knowing that they, a co-worker or manager can help me!
