The food is good as well as the prices and when you go in the personal treats you like you are at home

This is mediocre at best. The meat was extremely dry. The baked potato was cooked perfectly, and the desserts were fine. The salad was a large salad for the money. I don't eat meat, but those in the party who do shared their experience. The chicken on the salad crumbled without any visible juice. The hamburger steak was so tough it needed a knife to cut. There were only a few people dining in when I arrived, but several customers came in for pickup orders. The servers were knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Their pleasant demeanor and enthusiasm made the slight wait enjoyable. There's a "homey" vibe to the restaurant, and it felt like the regulars were more like family than customers. I would definitely come back for the sides and desserts, but I don't think the rest of our party would come back for the meats. read more

We love BBQ so when we saw this location on the Yelp app, while traveling the area, we had to stop and try it. And I'm so glad we did. The food was outstanding and the service exceptional. I ordered the sliced Brisket, with Grits and Brunswick Stew. My wife ordered the pulled Pork, Onion Rings and Fried Green Tomatoes. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. This place was nothing like I expected, but turned out to be a great stop as we were traveling through the area! It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but is a sizable restaurant with a lot of employees working hard & lots of customers even at a random time of day! We had initially planned to stop in for lunch but got hungry before making it here and stopped elsewhere - I really wish we had been able to have a full meal here! Instead, we stopped in and got some snacks. Everyone was helpful and polite. Very well decorated establishment with nice atmosphere and very clean! I got baked beans and a brownie, both of which were DELICIOUS! Highly recommend eating here if in the area - hope we end up back out this way at some point. read more

In town for the night for a funeral. Wife had the cat fish which She enjoyed. I the BBQ Platter with a Appetizer of onion rings. The onion could not have been better. Kudos to the fry cook. The BBQ came shredded evenly and hot. I found the BBQ sauce a little lacking but I like a very hot sauce with minimal vinegar taste. All and All a good meal! read more

Visiting Camilla for business, I had to try some good southern BBQ. Ive had great BBQ in L.A. , but they simply can't compare to Kebo. The setting itself is has a very "local" family style feel. Staff was extremely friendly and definitely exuded southern hospitality. Although you have to order and pay at the counter, Every 3 minutes they would check on my drink and if I needed anything. It gets crowded since it is small, so I would suggest getting there early. Now for the food. I ordered the pulled pork and rib combo with baked beans and fried pickles. The meat was tender and had a slight smokey flavor. The bbq sauce is to be added on your own via bottles (golden & traditional) on your table. Absolutely delicious. Baked beans were pretty standard but the fried sliced pickles were great with ranch dressing. Washed everything down with sweet ice tea. Serving was huge that I had enuf for lunch the next day. Being in Georgia I had to try the home made peach cobbler. For a nominal $2, it was a mouthful of buttery tastiness. Great food, great price, great service. read more

Very pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything here! The food is absolutely so very tasty along with the sauces. The only negatives are small portions, pay for BBQ sauce and I got very small sharp slivers of bone in my chicken salad. I wish there were a way they could remove the chicken without getting bone slivers. I will be ordering the other meats from now on. It is so tasty though I plan on hosting my next event with food from here! read more

My wife and I had a great time here. Our food came out fast and fresh. We both had the pulled pork potatoes (or "fat pats" as we call them). Stopped here on the way down from Atlanta to Tallahassee. I was not impressed. The sides tasted like the were poured out of a can. The cornbread tasted like jiffy mix. The fried pork chop was OK I guess. We thought it was going to be a home country cooking place, but it turned out to be a countrified Dennys or Shoneys. read more

I was passing through and was hungry. I stopped in and ate In my car. When I left I was still a bit hungry. Pulled pork sandwich was bland. They didn't go out of their way to over stuff it either. It was more like a jam sandwich. 2 pieces of bread jammed together. They cut their ears of corn in thirds and you might get 3 tablespoons of beans. At least they didn't over salt the food. On Feb. 29th, 2024, my husband stopped to eat at Kebo's in Camilla, Ga on his way to Mexico Beach, Fl, as he and the family have many times. He had already made his mind up before he got there, that he wanted a Hamburger Steak Dinner. When he arrived, he ordered the Hamburger Steak, French Fries(they are always good), Slaw and Tea. When his dinner was served, the roll was iced cold, as well as the french fries. The plate was even cold! The hamburger steak was just warm. The waitress never checked back with him, however, a waitress was clearing a table close by and he asked her to feel the roll and the plate and she did, agreeing it was cold! He told her it was the worst meal he had ever had! She said she would speak to the Manager! She returned to say, the manager told her that they would knock off the price of the Tea!! REALLY!!!! Mind you, the Tea was fine!! He told her that was alright, he would pay the whole bill but said he would not be back! When he arrived at MB, he said he had eaten the worst meal ever! In a matter of 10 mins, he was throwing up, diarrhea, and breaking out in sweats! This went on for 2-3 hrs! SO, Food PoisoningIII Was fine the next day. We travel all over the USA, and Kebos has some of the best BBQ we have ever eaten!! Ribs and pulled pork, REAL fresh made crispy perfect onion rings and fresh cut fries! Cannot pick up ribs to eat, because they are fall off the bone tender! Large portions, incredibly low prices! Inside and outside seating. Friendly service Hubby told me to mark this place in my phone for future trips! Also had other items on menu--burgers looked good as did the seafood. I wish Yelp had an option for more stars! My Dad had to come to Camilla for physical therapy and I came down with him. I was looking for a lunch spot and stumbled across Kebo's BBQ and more! It's a small place where you can sit at a few tables inside or out on the front porch. I ordered the 4 rib plate with 2 side. I chose sweet potato fries and fried okra with a glass of sweet tea. When my plate came (quickly) I was surprised to see nearly a whole rack of ribs! They tasted great and had just the right balance of smoke and texture. They hand make their sweet BBQ sauce and it is amazing! All in all I must say that I am impressed! I'll be back!!! read more

We like to try out BBQ where ever we travel. We made it a point to stop in Camilla because my dad was born there. We saw Kebos and got in fast. Where do I even start. It took almost an hour to get out food. Well some of it. The waitress lost the ticket with part of our orders on it and didnt realize it. I mean it's not that far of a walk to the kitchen from the tables. It took her, the 2 other waitresses, and the manager to come ask us what orders were missing 6 times before they could fix it. The food that did come out at first was cold. Maybe if the waitresses would stay out of the walk up window texting and eating they could actually do their jobs. When we complained to the manager about our entire meal experience she said she would call the owner to ask for a discount. 15 minutes later she comes back out to take all of our orders again and see how much it cost because the owner wanted to know. After almost 2 hours at the restaurant just to eat some cold BBQ they were nice enough to offer to give us our drinks for free. Oh thanks because $1.69 off of my bill made all the difference. WORST DINING EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. Unless you have several hours of your life to waste on cold below average BBQ then I wouldn't recommend going here to eat. Next time im in Camilla I'll just keep driving. I'm only giving it 1 star because a negative star rating doesn't exist and I cant post this review without choosing at least one star. read more

We love eating here. The food is always good and the staff are very friendly. They are always crazy busy but you never have to wait long enough to make it a bad experience. It's also really affordable if you buy it by the pound. Our company orders kebo's twice a year we feed any where from 10 to 15 people for about $100. It's the only decent place to get BBQ within 50 miles. read more

I'm from Atlanta and in town visiting, this place is so good. I chose it from Yelp reviews but can't say enough on how good the food was.

We aren't from Camilla, but we always try to stop at Kebo's when we go through there. My family loves eating here. My daughter and son love the pork wrap. My husband and I love the pulled pork. The burgers are also great. Make sure you choose chips as your side because they are homemade, and don't leave without getting a hot apple pie. If you love a local dive with fantastic food, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more
