Usual Asian food with hibachi section and sushi, small salad and dessert bar. Lunch is very tasty with both mild and spicy options. Also available is fried chicken, chicken tenders, ribs, salmon/tilapia and other American food. This is a surprisingly large buffet for a small town and a very reasonable price.

I've never been more disrespected and embarrassed I will not come here ever again. They have the same options EVERYDAY very limited options on sushi, I only come here because it's close to my home but u rather drive almost a hour away than to be humiliated. Made the Executive decision to come to BP and super glad I did. The initial welcome greeting was very warming, love that Southern experience...The menu was big enough to where I felt everyone would like or want to try something and that it was. The ambiance here is literally a flash from the past, literally a calendar in the wall that had January 1924. That should give you a good idea lol, felt like walking into the past of this decade. Our waitress actually mentioned she'd been working there since 14 which just shows how long this place has been in business. The locals must like it too, had a steady pace of customers in and out. They have this cool little takeout window as well. My picky Mom ordered the Talapia and Seafood dinner with a side salad. My neice got the chicken strips and onion rings with a few sides. I'm a catfish kinda dude so went with the Catfish dinner. I was curious about the Brunswick Stew Pint which is like a tomato based soup with pulled chicken and beef. Everything was cooked very well, nice and crispy. I also had the potato salad which was ok, no digs it was good I'm just use to a bit more flavor but overall really good. I would still recommend. I'm curious how the rest of the menu is, it's a BBQ spot so I would love to come back and try some BBQ chicken and Beef. They also had Turkey so throw some of that on the want list too lol. Our waitress who had been there a while was super cool. Although it seemed like she had drank 2 cups of coffee, she was on it. Kept drinks filled and attended to my picky family who unfortunately can't make up their minds but she was patient so thank her for that. Oh yeah! Go Pack Go!! I'm a Green Bay Packers fan so this local college team (I believe lol) gets all of my fandom and support. Go Pack Go!

I was driving through Madison around lunchtime. I saw several restaurants. This was the only one…read morecompletely surrounded by vehicles. They were even parking across the street. So I had to check it out. There are three separate seating areas. Plenty of tables and booths. It's like a lot of other buffets: you seat yourself and serve yourself everything except your drink. You pay at the register when you leave ($15). You can get food to go as well and they will weigh your container. The buffet itself is pretty small but has everything you'd want: grilled chicken, fried chicken, fish, chicken dumplings, mashed potatoes, beans, corn bread, etc. There is a separate salad buffet and dessert buffet. Service was friendly and efficient. Paying was quick and easy. Bathrooms were clean. And did I mention the fried chicken was perfect and the cobbler outstanding?

I don't know exactly how long O'Neal's has been around but I'd say a mighty long time. The building…read moreis plenty worn around the edges, booths have certainly seen better days, but country humor and hospitality abound. They sell seasonal produce from behind the front counter as well. Everyone is super-nice though you won't normally need much interaction with the waitstaff: you just say what you want to drink, they bring it to you, and you go get your buffet. I don't know if there is also a kitchen menu to order or not, but everyone goes for the buffet--that's clear. The menu changes daily and is written very neatly up on a small chalk board in the front however it's going to be country cookin' at it finest regardless. Saturday night is apparently the fish fry: they had a variety of fried seafood plus a shrimp scampi and fried chicken--also ribs I believe. They apparently always have fried chicken and it's very good fried chicken, too--not the very best I've ever had, but quite good. Of what they had on Saturday night that was good--beyond the fried chicken--I'm a fan of the mac'n'cheese (very good), butter beans, fried mullet (local I would bet, tasted very fresh), coleslaw, and hush puppies. The fried shrimp and shrimp scampi on the other hand seemed to be from frozen and not very good, overcooked. Crayfish were ok. Sweet potato casserole was bland--I've had much better. They fixed four or five cobblers and those I tried were pretty good--apple, peach, and a bread pudding-like one with blueberries. It's not quite five-star but it's an experience at a good price and overall good food. I'd be curious to try the lunch buffet--I kind of felt they were just trying too hard at the Saturday dinner and had a bit too much out to have quality the highest across the board. Still for $17 including your drink you cannot beat an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring very good fried chicken and the other fixin's plus fried mullet--I mean, forget all the other main dishes, that's plenty and a deal at that price. Certainly worth checking out if in Madison.

Now that's some good eating right there, I tell ya. Simple southern cooking like mamas, grandmas,…read moreaunts and all kinds of kinfolk and friends put on the table and we dig into with gusto. Fried chicken was that simple salt/pepper, flour and fry chicken. Nice crust and tasty moist meat. Macaroni and cheese was about as close to the way my mother used to make it and I enjoyed every bite. A little creaminess with chunks of melted cheddar mixed in. My only complaint would be that the cheese on top was not browned enough for my personal taste. The black eyed peas had onion in them so my wife had to work around the onion but I enjoyed that onion flavor. The peach cobbler was the good stuff and my wife even had some and really enjoyed it. That qualifies as high praise from the picky eater. Now we have to talk about their thin delicate "cornbread". It's so thin it will break into pieces when you pick it up. I suspect this was developed by someone who's favorite part of cornbread is the crusty edges. For those who agree, this paper thin delicacy will be addictive. I know I had plenty and had to resist going back for more. The outside and inside are pretty simple. It is a buffet with multiple meat, vegetable and dessert choices. The service was good. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The price is good for the delicious food. We will be stopping here pretty regularly now for lunch when we are running up and down US 19. So glad we found them.
