An hour and a half later, no show and when I called they said they'd be another hour and a half. I told them never mind and called the next place that came up on Google- Bob and Joe's. Bob and Joe's came out within 20 minutes, tried jumping the car, and got it to my mechanic. I highly recommend if you need a tow.

He was prepared, quick, pleasant, and efficient. Once he finished, he placed my flat tire in the trunk and advised me how to properly drive while my spare is on my car. I went to Conestoga Collision after a hail storm damaged my car for a paintless dent repair (PDR)…read moreestimate advertised as free on their website. I paid $1,283.32 to get my car back. Before dropping off my car, I told the shop I only wanted an initial estimate because I might pay out of pocket. My insurer had warned me it wouldn't cover storage or administrative fees, so I asked directly whether the shop charged them. I was told, "We wouldn't charge those for cars we are working on." After drop-off, the shop sent me a "work authorization form" to sign on my phone while I was at work. It listed no fee amounts, only that fees were posted in the shop. It also included a letter to my insurer, which no one mentioned, saying I had requested an inspection. I hadn't. When my insurer scheduled its adjuster for several days later, I called to pick up my car. I was told taking it would delay things, so I left it there. The shop then charged storage for every one of those days. Nine days after drop-off, the shop told me repairs would cost about $2,850 more than my insurer approved. I declined within the hour. Only then did the shop say it would "generate charges for services rendered." The bill: 10 days of storage at $127 a day starting the day I dropped the car off (half discounted), a $400 administrative fee, and a $201 scan. My card was also charged a 4% "convenience fee" that wasn't on the itemized bill and that I never agreed to. For comparison, the shop that repaired my car charges $95 a day for storage, and only for cars left for weeks. When I raised my concerns at pickup, the clerk was dismissive and didn't offer to escalate. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Conestoga Collision. If you do use them, get every fee in writing before you leave your car, and read every page of anything you sign.
