Would give negative stars if possible…read more Due to space limitations we can't give full details or list all the problems, lies, or unprofessional business practices encountered but we'll give the highlights. Contracted with Hinckley Roofing to do tear off and roof replacement on small house. Subcontracted crew only tarped front of house and left other sides exposed. Majority of shingles and debris were thrown off sides and back, not front. Left excessive black marks on vinyl siding and large scratches/gouges on aluminum window trim where shingles hit. Only the front looked mostly okay because of tarp. Siding in very good condition prior to damage they caused. Showed us picture of front with tarp and lied about the rest being tarped until we shared video from security cameras showing shingles raining down against the siding. Their solution was to scrub each streak and power wash the siding, destroying the surface so there were glaring shiny and dull patches alternating across sides and back of house. This was unacceptable to us. Met with them again and were told if we gave it 6 months we wouldn't be able to tell; it would even out. Gave it 6 months and it looks worse. Roof cost just over $9,200. Bids from siding companies were all higher than that amount but Hinckley would only offer half the cost in credit for damages. Said anything more would be unfair to them. When we didn't accept their offer, we were told they'd put lien on house and we could work it out with their insurance company then. Deadline for filing valid lien had passed after so much time but they would file anyway. The only way we could get lien removed then would be to hire attorney and file a lawsuit to have lien invalidated. We opted to take their low offer and be done with them.

Matt came out two days after I sent a quote request. We were having issues finding a reliable contractor, so we explained what we wanted and a time frame. The crew came out when they scheduled/promised and knocked the deck out of the park. The detail we wanted was done above and beyond. They added a few minor details when items were found and needed altered. The crew cleaned up the workspace very well and made due the area was safe Do not hesitate to use these guys to hire for a deck. Our 16x16 two story deck will be used for the rest of the season thanks for them. Will use them again in the future

They failed in nearly every aspect of this project. What was to be a 5-week job, extended out to 12-weeks when they were fired with a good amount of work not completed, materials paid for not supplied, AND the work that was completed was not that of a professional contractor. They did not have inspections done (even though we were charged for permits). Poor design, poor execution, poor business practices. We are left with hiring someone reputable to almost completely redo the work. There are MULTIPLE FIRE HAZARDS and code violations. I wish I could list it all. We obviously failed to speak up in time to make a difference. We will be pursuing legal action soon against them. We thought we did ample due diligence prior to hiring them. We made a huge mistake. I'd be willing to bet many of their glowing reviews have been paid for. These are not craftsmen, they are hacks. If you do choose to use them, hold back as much money as you can and don't let them 'Take it off the LAST payment'. We were lied to on multiple occasions. On their website they use the tag line, "We build dreams", for us they built an expensive nightmare.

They came out a couple weeks later and got the work done leaving the my front walkway looking so much better than when they arrived. They set a date and were on time, explained what they were going to do and did an excellent job leveling my patio. They cleaned up nicely and told me how to fill the cracks between the slabs. They even let me know the product I bought was not good and advised me to return and buy a better product. They gave me step-by-step instructions to help my patio look great and it does. And I got a 2 year warrantee. Highly recommend.
