I have to say, during Covid and a particularly challenging time, they did everything they could to provide dance instructions while also being responsible members of the community and keeping everyone safe. It could not have been easy but EAD consistently improvised and found ways to keep dance going. It would have been easy to just throw up your hands and open fully despite health orders and frankly, if that had happened, we wouldn't have felt comfortable going. As it was, they made the experience both fun and safe at a time we really needed an outlet for our daughter. I can't thank them enough and I could not recommend this place more to people. The dance instruction is inclusive and accessible and celebrates the desire to dance regardless of skill level. I've always felt comfortable sending my daughters here.

There's plenty of parking, and the studio is on the smaller side, but nice (there's two dance rooms--one larger one and one smaller one). Since the Kpop class was so popular, there were a lot of people, but we were in the smaller room, since it sounded like there was another group training for some sort of performance. Once they left, we switched over to the larger room. Isabel teaches the Kpop classes and she was so friendly and encouraging. She was patient and great at breaking down the dance moves, while moving the class at an appropriate pace. It is a 1.5 hour class, so we finished all the moves with 15 minutes to break into dance groups (not exactly my favorite part, because my brain can't usually learn all the moves in the same class). Of note, they do record the group dances, but you can probably sit out if you want (I just stick around because of peer pressure and low key want to remember how I looked from when I started until mastering the dance). It's also nice that she will be kinda doing the dance on the side to guide you. There's no level listed on the class, so I'm assuming it's all levels. Based on being at other dance studios, I think 2.0 was more of an intermediate level class, but it was very doable! Overall, I really enjoyed my class with Isabel!

She also lets you request whatever kpop song you want to warm up to and is just a great teacher and dancer overall. It is a stress free class where it's ok to make mistakes. Classes are Tuesday nights 8-9:30pm and Saturdays 3:30-5pm. The dance changes every week. You do learn the whole dance in 1.5 hours so it's fast pace, but you don't need to be perfect. I just have fun and don't worry about getting it perfect. She does record it at the end but you don't have to be in the recording if you don't want to. I recommend you bring a water bottle. If you have trouble finding it, it is near Vinnie's Pizza.

It was one of the best decisions we could have made. We got so much more than just a choreographed dance. They taught us a variety of basic dance styles; helped us choreograph a dance routine to two songs and even gave us the music to give to our DJ. On top of that, they helped us navigate the dance floor setup so that our wedding photographer would get the best photos of us. They are very thoughtful and detailed in their craft. All of the instructors and students are fun, patient and kind. They have a fun sense of community. We worked mostly with Devany and Tawni, and they really made our dance a successful one on our special day. We will definitely be returning for group classes.

I just started swimming with Bree and am loving that too. I work in Sacramento and have a very hard time scheduling classes. Both Jeri and Bree have bent over backwards to work with me. I am notorious for starting and quitting gyms - but the Jeri and Bree are just the thing to keep me going.
