I have had the privilege of working with Monarch Building on a couple different projects. The first…read morewas adding a deck to the rear of the house in place of the old stone patio. The professionalism, quality of work and attention to detail was fantastic. The second project was a bathroom remodel following a failed remodel done by another contractor only 4 years prior. Tony and Terry came in, assessed the situation and presented a plan on how to take care of everything. Again, the quality of work and attention to detail was beyond reproach. Yes, it was an expensive project, but their work justifies the cost. I will without a doubt, hire Monarch Building for all future projects! If you're in need of a contractor, and one that cares about his clients as well as the quality of work being provided, Tony and Monarch Building should be your go to. Icing on top, Tony and crew will even play with your dogs and set them at ease with them being around doing work on your property.

Monarch was able to repaint the entire interior, replace all the carpet, and convert a combo tile/carpet floor to LVP in the span of three weeks. Their work was excellent quality and Tony was wonderful at coordinating the projects to be sure things were done correctly and in a timely fashion. He was also very practical and made great recommendations that stayed within our budget. We plan on replacing windows in the next couple years, so he advised against any repainting any windows so we wouldn't be paying for them twice. This was our first home and some of these decisions I needed guidance on. Tony and Monarch Building helped us though the process and truly made our home feel like our own.

TL;DR: Happy with our experience…read more I'm always nervous about projects around the house and the people we hire to do the projects. My husband and I met with a few different bathroom remodeling companies to change out our uneven shower stall that pooled a lot of water to the side of the shower and therefore didn't drain. We decided to go with Rodney at Full Circle Kitchen & Bath. We were able to schedule an appointment for an estimate for the same day that we called him. When he arrived, he gave us a flat base price for the shower stall and the labor, and then told us how much the extra shelving, seat, and grab bar we wanted would cost on top of the base price. Once we called Rodney to tell him we wanted to move forward with the project, he sent us a contract to review via email within about a day. After we reviewed the contract and agreed to it, he visited our house again to sign the contract, collect the downpayment for supplies and re-measure the shower stall. Rodney uses Sentrel products for the showers he installs including the showers he installed at his own house. He ordered the Sentrel shower stall and other accessories and once those arrived, he called to schedule installation for that same week. Rodney is eager to start working early in the morning at 7am. He only works on one project at a time and doesn't split his time between clients, so there aren't half-finished projects that sit for days or weeks at a time when you hire him. He works weekends as well as weekdays. Rodney is prompt to answer questions via email and phone. My husband and I stayed home while Rodney and his assistant worked on the shower stall. They covered the carpet so it wouldn't get dirty or damaged. Rodney is a serious worker that strives to do a good job. He told us every time he was going to shut the water off and for how long it would be off, so we could prepare for that. He called us over to look at any strange house issues that would interrupt the progress and to get our opinions about how to proceed. We had a very uneven floor, floor joists too spaced apart, waterpipes that were coming up through the shower floor instead of behind the wall, and a giant hole carved out of one of the floor beams for the drainpipe. The new shower handle was defective and leaking, so Rodney put in a temporary handle for us to use the shower until the company sends a replacement that he can swap out. Also, he showed us how to change the handle ourselves if at some point in the future we decide that we want a new handle or need a new cartridge. Additionally, the previous owners had put up tile around the old shower stall on the walls that we wanted to keep if possible. Rodney was able to save that for us. Rodney also uses the expensive silicone sealant so there shouldn't be mold growth and we shouldn't have to re-caulk. He used Pex pipes to replace the copper pipes that were coming in at weird angles. We haven't used the shower yet as we're waiting for the sealant to dry completely, but I'm feeling good about the experience we had and am glad we hired Rodney.

Coradi is not one of those, "you have to buy today" companies and they take the time to make sure you're getting great quality products and service. Last November we hired Coradi Contracting to remodel our bathroom, and we couldn't be more pleased…read morewith the results--a beautiful and functional bathroom. From start to finish, the Coradi team demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and dedication to providing the bathroom that we had envisioned. The professionalism exhibited by Coradi throughout the project was commendable. They adhered to the agreed upon budget and they started and finished on the dates promised! The Coradi team maintained communication every step of the way and we always felt informed and involved in the process, which made the remodel go smoothly and eliminated the stress of a renovation. The BuildersTrend app that they use for budgeting, documenting each day's work, and communication between team members and homeowners is easy to use and facilitates completing the project as planned. Moreover, the quality of their work was outstanding and every aspect of the renovation was executed well and with attention to detail. Derek came out to our home shortly after we contacted Coradi, spent time evaluating our bathroom and discussing our needs and wishlist for the remodel, and gave us great suggestions on how to achieve the bathroom that we envisioned. To finalize the contract, we met with him at the office, reviewed each point of the contract, and made changes that were put in writing and ultimately carried out as promised in the contract. The Conradi team that completed the rough-in and finishing work was led by Allen and included Tristan (plumber) and Justin (electrician). They showed up and wrapped up every day at the scheduled time and worked diligently on the project. They respected our home, cleaned up after each day's work, answered any questions and addressed any concerns we had, and consulted us about things that would impact our use of the bathroom. We felt very comfortable with this team and are really pleased with the way they executed the job. Ryan, assisted by Nathan, did the tile work and did a wonderful job. Ryan's outstanding workmanship and exceptional dedication to getting the design right created a finished product that is the star of the remodel! He was more than willing to incorporate our ideas and checked with us as the work progressed to make sure we were satisfied. Lastly, Jennifer assisted us with the payment process and addressed any issues that arose. It is evident that Coradi prioritizes customer satisfaction. They listened attentively to our needs and preferences and offered valuable suggestions and guidance along the way. Overall, we cannot recommend Conradi highly enough if you want a contractor who combines excellent craftsmanship, professionalism, and integrity. In all, we interviewed 6 contractors before selecting Coradi and we are so happy with our decision. We won't hesitate to use them again for any future remodeling projects!

I had ceiling mounted storage shelves, which are fine, but only can hold certain things and you need a ladder to access. I realized that I have a ton of unused space above the garage door and could have a mezzanine built up there that would work better than the ceiling shelves. I contacted Matt at Beach Handyman and explained what I wanted. He asked that I send a few pictures of what I was thinking and he would work the numbers/ideas. I also wanted to add an attic pull-down ladder to make access easier, which Matt was happy to accommodate. Within a day of sending over my thoughts, Matt had a quote ready (which was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done) and we signed a contract. Matt expected 1-2 days to complete which turned into 2+ days, but that was not Matt's fault due to encountering a large steel beam that he had to work around. I'm super happy with the final product, and it turned out better than expected. I will absolutely use Matt again for any future needs. He can pretty much do it all. Just ask him and he'll let you know. Thanks Matt!

Update: In response to Matt's reply, there is no way in the world that he could have assumed that…read morethe room he worked in was clean. It was completely dirty. He told me that he would have everything to keep my space clean before he started the job and he did not. This is why I used my own covering before he returned the next day. Matt failed to explain how he cut the wood too short and glued it back together without even mentioning it. Or the extra hole he drilled for a baluster that was left in the wood. Again, not professional. Not quality. To build your business, you have to just do quality work. Matt did contact me after I left the original review to get the carpet cleaned but I had already asked him to clean it before he finished the job. I am not in the business of having people in and out of my home. I hired him for carpentry not carpet cleaning. I honestly didn't trust that he wouldn't ruin it, which is why I did as much as I could myself. Whether it is blue chalk or white chalk, it didn't come out of my carpet and he put it there. My carpet was literally two weeks old and was in a room that we had not had the pleasure of moving into yet. As I shared previously, Matt is nice. Maybe he took on a job that he was not experienced with and we just happened to get the quality of a novice. Maybe he is better now. I don't know. This review was not personal. But rather a review of my experience with a business. Original: Matt completed work in our home some time ago. Unfortunately, it was done professionally. His measurements were off, he was not very clean, and he ruined my brand new carpet. I think Matt is a nice person but I would have also preferred that he work under our agreed terms and he did not. When I hired him on a phone call, he promised that he would protect my home from dust and paint. That was not the case.
