Overall, my master shower tile DOES most definitely looks better. But now that it's been about 2-hours post job and I'm taking a closer look, I am not entirely blown away. I've posted before and after photos; you can see a marked improvement. It is leaps and bounds better/cleaner. But if you look toward the left and front of the shower, those white "grout" lines are remaining soap scum (my tile grout was grey, so anything white on the floor should not be there). I was hopeful it was just residual dust, but no such luck. It would not rinse away. Some elbow grease (getting down on my hands and needs and working the grout has helped -- and also enabled me to confirm it is indeed soap scum). My shower got to this awful stage due to waiting too long for a professional cleaning. Lesson learned and I'll consider this stage one. In 6 months or so look for another solution. The biggest surprise for me was that when I went to check on the work I saw them using razor blades to remove the soap scum. Basically, the same thing I started to do, and then decided to go the professional route. It never occurred to me to ask 'how' the process would be done, but this is a question that I'll be asking future vendors. My feeling is there must be another way to get a deeper clean. As for the service, the workman arrived right on time, were friendly, got the job done in a timely fashion (perhaps I wish it took a little longer in retrospect?), and left my bathroom as clean as it was when they arrived. read more

These two young clean cut men Gabriel and Victor arrived on time, dressed clean and professional, and were very patient with our selection of grout color. Dirty grout in just over a year. I have children true but weekly cleaners. We use THEIR mop solution. They tell me to scrub with a wire brush but I have high gloss tile so that's a STRONG no. It's guaranteed supposedly but they miss appointments, refuse to call back, scratched the tile first time around by scraping metal can against my tiles and more. I even left a message on owners voice mail and no response after missed appointments and lack of rep showing when I was home and canceled appts. Don't use these crooks because the 10 year guarantee alone makes them flat out liars. The sad part is we could've turned into an additional sale for around our shower & tub...next! read more

This was the second time I had this company out to do some tile repair for loose tiles. The first time they were out, we had no issues. The second time, while attempting to complete the payment through the Zell program, we kept getting an error message stating that the company had "too many contacts and could not accept further transactions". This was shown not only to the repair people, but also their supervisor, who was also at my house at the time. My wife contacted Zell and once again was told that the issue was on KC Tiles end and not on ours. The repairman contacted Kenny, who I am told is the owner of the company. While my wife was explaining the issue to him, he was completely rude and kept telling her that he doesn't know what she is talking about. When asked for another payment method, we were told there would be a service fee of almost 30.00 dollars if we needed to use a credit card. I'm not sure why I should have to pay a service fee on something that is not my issue but that is for another conversation. Needless to say, they will not be back to my home. read more

We had just finished some updates on my Mother's home in Boynton Beach prior to putting in on the market. The grout was not great after 20+ years of daily use, over time, it starts to look dicey, and although she had a cleaning service regularly, deep scrubbing grout was not a thing. I put a smile on my tile today thanks to KC Tile Restoration. I was actually thinking about going through the aggravation and expense of installing new tile to replace most of the dirty, stained, loose and chipped tile and grout around my house. But I decided to make a last ditch call to KC, just to make sure I was covering all my bases first. I'm sure glad I did. Company rep Dilver, who came out to the house, appeared honest and professional and convinced me that KC could polish the tile, repair and refinish the grout and color seal it, to make it look brand new again. The price to do it all, a living room, dining room, family room, laundry room, entry way, kitchen, hallway and three bathrooms, and move and replace the furniture, seemed more than fair. They would even move the refrigerator. Today, a three-man team of hard working KC staffers showed up right on time with their scrubbing and polishing machines, sealant and careful attention to detail and got the job completed in six hours as promised. Using drop cloths and great care, they left the house spotless. I was impressed that a supervisor from KC showed up in the middle of the job to make sure the work was proceeding correctly and smoothly. A minor item or two was spotted and quickly addressed. The floors look as good as new now and at a fraction of the cost and anguish of putting in new flooring. With the bright new look and all the money we saved, my wife is now planning additional new projects for our home. KC acid washed and cleaned the pool tiles in our 11,000 gallon Pebble Tec pool. Overall - nice work and results, personable, communicates well, and knowledgeable about acid wash and tile cleaning materials and process. They cleaned up nicely. He doesn't use glass beads but rather minerals which are Ph neutral and won't hurt porcelain tile which apparently glass beads can. Only had to lower pool about 16" - not the entire pool as with glass beads. They vacuum pool afterward and the minerals still in the pool cloud the water but after running pump for a few hours the pool was crystal clear again. I called KC a few days later as there was some mineral reside on the pool coping and a few spots behind a statue pedestal that still had some 'black" between the tiles. KC said he was busy but would call to setup a time to clean-up these spots. He never called and never came back. read more

My wife and I were so frustrated by the ugliness our porcelain tile floor had become over the years and how we were considering chopping up the floor and having a new one installed. Scott set up a date to meet and measure and told us what was involved and even stated that I could be assured of satisfaction and the floor would look like a new floor. To be honest when we moved into our home the floor was a few years old already but looked damn good so I wouldn't actually know what a new floor looks like. Well, the price was right the sales pitch was perfect but it was worth the cost to give it a try.
