I found this nail salon courtesy of Yelp! I went and got a fill for my arcylic nails. It was quick and my nails were shaped square the way I like them. The total was $11. They had a decent amount of colors to choose from. I will go back especially for the prices! I am a mom on a budget and I like to get my nails done. read more

My first shellac pedi ... Very happy with the job! 26$ for shellac! We'll see how long it lasts. They do accept credit cards now. Their color selection is limited. I plan on going back next week for my shellac mani - 18$! read more

The prices are hard to beat and the family is beyond sweet. There has been a few times I feel like I've waited too long- but they really try to accommodate as many people as they can. I'd suggest going during the odd hours to avoid the wait. Overall I'm extremely happy and I'll make the commute from st. pete to go to them! read more

They were very nice and the prices were very reasonable but I was not happy with the fact that I had to go back to fix a nail less than 1 hour later. I tried to tell them before he got started about my nail issue and he did not understand me at all. He just kept going with what he was doing. I had to chime in several times to point out fuzzies and missed polish and still in the end, the nail I went to cover up, has a huge hole where polish should be. So it was a wasted $17 because I will now have to go get it taken off and redone, which I don't have a budget for, and Pray I don't get fungus because of the water that is going to be able to get under the gel polish for three weeks because of that gap. I don't like when they get you out of there not checking their work and rushing to the en client. It wasn't the cleanest place but was not too bad. They did NOT have clean fresh utensils in packages, that worried me. It always worries me when I cannot communicate with merchants. You are bound to be disappointed. No lotion or oil put on your hands during manicure. If none of that matters to you, this is a good cheap place where you'll get what they do not how you want it. I would go somewhere else. read more

This place is a diamond in the rough! Kevin and his family were so kind and respectful. These are hardworking people who appreciate their clientele! I am so pleased to have found this business!! read more

Worst place ever!!! My friend and I were out of town and tried to get pedi's in our immediate area and places were booked days in advance. We found this place, made an appt. Drove out of our way. I have never had a bad pedi, ever Religiously go every 2 wks back home same place.... My friend's pedi done in 20 min, mine 35 for exact same thing... that was odd. What made it a bad experience is that within two days, both our heels were super dry that if you even put your feet under the covers or put socks on it snagged on everything! I mean extreme opposite of when we arrived!!!! The products they use are clearly terrible!!! We went just a week ago and some of the polish on my toes is peeling right off in layers. Horrible! If I lived by this place I would def demand my money back!!!! NOW, I have to go to my place and pay to have them redone and hopefully they can help with our feet!!! Because this is extremed due to chemicals. And the weather was cold, rainy and red tide. So no real beach time was had... STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Nice people, but they only put one coat of color on my toenails and they didn't wait long enough between coats.

I love Cindy and Kevin. They are so sweet and no matter how busy they are, they always manage to take care of all their customers. Their prices are SO affordable, that I almost can't imagine going anywhere else. I always get the Gel polish and I always love the result. I've been going here for 2 years & don't plan on going anywhere else read more

This place is amazing . Great friendly staff, my nails haven't chipped or come off after three weeks! Definitely going back !

Must wear a mask and there were plastic dividers between you and the nail tech. Wipes were at the desk when you enter. Very good basic pedicure with a nice massage. Friendly staff makes you feel welcome. Will go back! read more

Can not believe how awesome this place was, especially considering the prices! Took girls here for our vacation nails and was so pleased with the whole experience - nails look and feel great for an excellent price! read more

This place was the worst place I've ever gotten a pedicure I've ever gotten. I told the manager on my way out. The lady checking out ahead of me overheard what I said and said she agreed. I was going to rate this place at all until I saw it here. Clearwater is abysmal when it comes to the art form of nails. I've been too st least five and the workmanship is awful. read more

Love this salon!!! The staff are so nice and very accommodating. I tend to run late and it's never a problem, Cindy always takes care of me and the prices are the best in the area. read more

Good experience. Clean and filled to capacity. Reasonable prices. I'll make sure to become a regular. Cash only.

Tried KC nails based on reviews here and on Nextdoor. Recently moved from other side of the county and wanted someone in the neighborhood. Have had one pedi and two gel mannis all were great. This is family owned and operated. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Sorry I don't know their names, but the mother and father did my pedi, excellent work on the callouses and polish, great massage. Once the daughter did my nails, she was away when I returned, so Dani ( I think was his name) did my second mani and Botha were excellent. I have had them done where the polish wasn't to the cuticle so it grew out too fast, or the nails weren't filed properly and would snag. Not here! Everything was done great. Only 4 stars because their smocks could use washing although I watched them clean the tubs and tools, so wasn't concerned. Also, someone rammed the front entrance and there is plywood over the windows. I was told by another shop keeper that the landlord of the plaza hasn't stepped up to repair the damage. None of this deterred me, but I thought it should be mentioned for anyone new walking up. The service and price are excellent and I highly recommend. read more

Friendly staff. I've had good service on the previous visits. Sadly this visit was totally unsatisfactory. The one who did my pedicure was an older man with glasses. He kept looking to the front desk while doing my toes, like he can't wait to get to the incoming customers instead of paying attention to me. The base coat, nail polish was applied unevenly with huge spots on my nails missed. I had another appointment to go to so I wasn't able to have him redo the pedi. My attempts at home did very little to improve the mess he did. It sure felt like threw $22 out the window. Note to self--find another nail place and don't schedule pedicure close to other appointments. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We walked in and requested two gel fills. The lady brought over the basket of colors and gave to my daughter. Maybe 2 mins later an old man walked over and took it out of my daughters hands, my daughter said "I'm not finished" he mumbled something and took it away. I thought it was so rude so we walked out. read more

My mom and I were looking for a mani/pedi while visiting my grandma, and were totally out of our element in Largo. My grandma said she went to this salon, which made me nervous, but we gave it a try anyway. My mani and pedi were done just as well as they've been done at the other salons I've gone to, but I LOVED it here for two main reasons: 1) Kevin and Cindy (hence the name K C Nails), the married couple who own the salon. Both were SUPER warm and friendly and (is this wrong to say?) spoke in English the entire time, so I didn't feel paranoid about them saying, "These stupid Americans and their ugly feet!!!" They clearly had a rapport with regulars; several women came in and Cindy would ask after some specific part of their lives. Kevin is funny and insightful, and Kevin and Cindy are also still in love with each other after being married for 10 years and having 3 kids. Maybe this is silly to include in a review, but it made my experience really fun and good, so whatever! 2) The prices! $24 for a mani/pedi combo! What the what?! The one and only negative thing I can say about K C Nails is that the salon is not super aesthetically pleasing. The massage chairs are a little dated, and the space is not really decorated at all. It's not at all dirty, mind you, just not fancy. But if $24 for a mani/pedi combo means no decorations, then so be it! read more

I have been going to the same salon on Indian Rocks Beach for 3 years and just heard my tech had left. I did some research online, asked a few friends, and checked the local magazines. K C Nails doesn't advertise but the reviews on the Yelp.com were so good I had to try them for myself. I called for an appt (though you don't need one). I was taken on time. Kevin and Cindy ( K C Nails) are a married couple who own the salon. They were welcoming & friendly. The salon smells nice (some are so small and the ventilatiion is poor, so the acrylic smell is hard to breathe). It is bright and very clean. They are planning to expand and have plans to bring a Brother and Sister from Denver to help. When I left there were 3 people waiting (one said she was early). Even though there were people waiting, I did not feel that my pedicure was rushed. Cindy did a great job. The chairs are adjustable and comfortable. I would go back again. A Winner! read more

This husband and wife team offer a comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, and great prices. I get acrylic nails and pedicures there regularly, and I have been a client for about 2 years. I have three other friends that come here regularly and we keep telling others about this great place. One thing that I really like is that Kevin and Cindy both speak English well so that I know my requests and concerns are being understood. In the past I went to whatever nail shop was near my other errands. I didn't have a particular place where I felt a connection to create loyalty. Now I am loyal to KC Nails because I feel comfortable there and they do a great job! read more

KC nails was a good find! The did a really good job on my gel nails and the prices were very very good (cheaper than my cheap place at home.) The pedicure was so-so, parts of my toes were missing polish and no clear coat at the end - however the wonderful nail tech who did my fingers made it right when I mentioned it. Everyone was very nice and for the price my toes and nails turned out great. I'm only giving them 3 instead of 4 stars because they did not have any wax services and because of the issues with the pedicure. read more

Love Cindy and her family!! My dip mani turned out perfect! Cindy took her time with me! My pedi, done by Cindy's mom, needed to be touched up before I left which look an additional 20 min. The place is older, but Cindy's charm makes it feel very warm. Overall a great experience! read more

I decided to to try about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Call ahead of time for appointment for me and my elderly mom. We both liked the service and at a great price too. Mom had a mani-pedi. I had a gel mani with a regular polish pedi. Cindy and Kevin(?) are the owners. Thus the name KC Nails. Their parents are techs also. The father did my pedi. He does not speak English well, understands fine. Didn't bother me. He did a great job. He doesn't do gel nails. So Kevin did my mani. It just started to come off yesterday. So lasted about 2 weeks. My pedi still looks great. Mom was done by Cindy's mom, Lee, I believe, is her name. Nice job. My mom's nails still look great. She does not do any housework though these days. I definitely recommend this salon. It's not a sleek , stylish place but it's clean. read more

The owners are very nice people however, you get what you pay for. Their prices are cheap because the quality is cheap. I would get a full set all the time and my nails would easily fall off from literally nothing... One day I asked from them to do my eyebrows and they guy replied "you're too tired maybe come back when you aren't so tired" really? That's how you talk to your paying customers?! read more

OMG I love this place. Bright clean and lots if space. Sooo many magazines. They only take cash but she did my nails first and then let me leave to get cash at the bank across the street. $16 for Shellac manicure?!? They didn't have as many colors as some other places, but she did a beautiful job and it looks amazing and only took 20 minutes. The second time I went I got manicure with polish and pedicure with shellac for $30. He did both in under an hour and did a PERFECT job. They need to hire some more people because they have lots of customers but not enough people to do the nails! Both the owners are so nice. I'll definitely keep coming back read more

update- returned again in dec. '14:: i think the salon has moved next door to the previous location. the new salon is much more aesthetically pleasing & i believe there are more massage/pedicure chairs. still wonderfully friendly & very appreciative. i always look forward to coming back! i read a review which said there were not many polish colors to choose from, so i added a picture of the selection. read more

Stopped by this nail salon with my little sister to get a gel mani and regular pedicure. The owners were so incredibly kind and helped my sister out when she was looking for the right color to match her prom dress. The owners knew so many of the customers by name and made sure to tell them if there would be a long wait so they could come back later. My gel mani still looks amazing after almost a week and has no chips. They even offered to fix up my sisters nails right before the prom for free if needed. I paid only $32 for my gel mani and regular pedi which is a steal. I highly recommend this nail salon! read more
