So my girlfriend was going to take it to a shop and was quoted over a grand. So Instead I looked on yelp and found Murphy's and requested a quote at about 10:50pm on a Friday night. I got a text to my cell phone at 11:02pm just minute's later!! He asked me what I heard and he agreed that it sounded like the starter. He got all the information about the car and said he would contact me in the morning. The very next morning he called me and got the part and was headed over to my apartment to help. He got here quickly and tested to make sure it was the starter before he installed it to save time and money. And got it installed and ready and working perfectly in about 30-40 minutes. He charged us for the part he brought for us and the labor and we ended up paying around 600 bucks when we would have been paying at LEAST twice that at a shop, and we didn't have to worry about towing the car to a shop or anything since he came to us. We were extremely happy and I'd recommend him to anyone. I believe his name was John, If I'm incorrect I'm sorry lol. But he was very good, quick, knowledgeable and convenient. I took his business card and will definitely give him a call for future issues.

the horror story would begin with my wife's beautiful 2011 hyundai santa fe having a terrible…read morewobble in the steering wheel when u got into 30 to 50 but then would smooth out once u got past that and could hold steady speed they at first talk my wife into the lug nuts wasn't on the tire they said none of them was on the tire to her even tho she drove it there! so she gets a program that will pay for the services because on my google review the owner made sure to comment back and say i needed to appreciate that because the car still wobbled after they told my wife it was lugs and studs $400 dollars they charged for lugs and studs for two tires btw at this point im ferious and feel she being taken advantage of!! so i now tell them i believe the passenger side axle is the problem me telling them.. so they replace it sound and wobble on driver side goes away now mind you the program was for $2500 so 400 for the studs is 2100 left i know they couldn't of charged that for the axle even with labor... remind you i'm suppose to be grateful for getting this program but them delivering a car that's not road worthy and she says we dont do unnecessary services to our community program even tho they did the axle i told them and then they just refused to do the other axle or even business even tho now im stuck with them and using this money threw the program with them...and they are saying goodbye thanks for the money threw prc and good luck getting the other side done they literally tried to say maybe its the inner transmission which i bought til i talked to other car mechanics and they said even if that was the case it wouldnt make the tire wobble... i only got hooked up with them due to steve mechanics behind marshalls and in the comments she made said i bad mouthed him idk (maybe my wife did) but obviously she has no idea cause all that man did was a alignment so idk how i ever talked bad about him ill say this i think they are in business with eachother and not in a good way!! please go some where else and read threw the reviews and remember as easy as u made account is how easy they can to keep the google rating at a 5 read threw speedys bs

At this point I'm thinking he's full of crap and trying to scam me so I look up his reviews, what I found is 15 bad reviews on Google and he claims he has never done business with any of these people. 2 claims filed against him on the BBB site as well yet he likes to boast about being A+ rated with 0 reviews. My full story is on FB, do a search for bangbang305. Documented photos and proof that I have in fact done business with this sleezy mechanic that rips people off. My jeep is worse off than when I took it in there and I'm getting an attorney. It is not drivable at all, died 5 times just going home which is less than a mile from his shop and the engine shakes all over the place now! Horrible mechanic. DO NOT GO HERE. I also paid in CASH because he doesn't accept credit cards and didn't even tell me that until AFTER the "work" was done. His response when I inquired about it being cash only was "you didn't ask." What kind of auto shop takes cash only? A scamming one that lies and denies they've ever done business with people they have screwed over, that's who.
