For a proper Italian pizza they are quite good, although I would ask for my pizza done extra crispy the next time. Prosciutto was quality and arugula was fresh, crust was very thin and light, and the vibe was light and spacious. They're not in a sleepy corner of Culver City - quite the contrary - but I hope the buzz of their neighbors rubs off on them soon.

This was my first time trying KBella Pizza. I had a great conversation with Sara who is the owner. She's originally from Milan and is very friendly and knowledgeable. I tried a Margherita Slice and the Arancini (rice balls). Both were very good. The one criticism I have is the ratio of Cheese and Sauce to dough. Now maybe that's the way Roman pizza is served in Italy, but that's just my personal preference. Sara said they also make Neapolitan Pizza too, which I will try next time. She definitely uses quality ingredients and it was obvious. I'm definitely going to try KBella again.

My only regret with KBella was not trying it earlier! What a local neighborhood gem! The pizzas we tried tasted fresh and gourmet. No frozen pizza here! Our family had a variety of slices and a 12" Neapolitan margherita pizza, plus Caesar salad, focaccia bread and the Nutella bites. Everything was so delicious from beginning to end. The Roman-style crust slices were sizable and adequate for a meal in itself with sides, and the 12" perfect for a bigger appetite. Our favorite slice was by far the Mordatella pesto, so unique and delicious! The prosciutto arugula was tasty as was the margherita. Everyone was stuffed! And the Nutella bites were a great way to polish off a great meal! Service as fantastic as well. The staff were all pleasant and patient with our questions. And came by to check on us several times during the meal. Everyone was very kind and professional. Finally, the ambiance was relaxing with fun Italian music playing. It almost felt like we were transported to Italy!

The pizza here is delicious! Available by the slice, they have a few other sweet and savory goodies available as well. Easy metered, parking upfront and plenty of seating inside. Service was very friendly. Our pizza reheated well at home and was crispy with high-quality ingredients. Great option for the area!

    Panino Burrata Mortadella

Amazing Focaccia Bread, just like in Italy. Authentic flavors and great greetings. Go check it out!

The pesto mortadella burrata pizza was AMAZING! It can be a turn off the see the pizza cold in the window but they prepare them in the morning and you wouldn't tell the difference once they finish the cooking process in the oven and add the fresh toppings. The mortadella was thin and their homemade infused olive oil was delicious as well. It reminded me of home when my grandparents who are Italian chefs would make pizzas. It is definitely authentic and light. For those who wrote here they're being stingy on the toppings, they're not. They have the perfect balance. I'm happy I didn't listen to the negative reviews. The service was great too! I will be back!!!

This new pizza place easily became my favorite pizza in LA after just one visit. I was so lucky to enjoy the food and relaxing atmosphere on their first day open! I had the arancini appetizer and the mortadella and burrata pizza -- the food literally melted in my mouth it was so delicious. The place is super clean and modern, and the owner is so friendly. Not to mention she is a real Italian! I wouldn't be surprised if there's a line out the door the next time I go... run, don't walk!

What an amazing find, totally authentic Italian pizza! The teglia is so awesome omg, delicious!! I'll be back for the panini's!! Parking on the street too.

The bread to topping ratio is way off here, almost as bad as dynamite pizza

The place had such a lively, welcoming family vibe right from the start -- it felt warm and bustling in the best way. We started with the chopped salad to share and added an order of fried calamari. For our mains, we went with the Alejo's Shrimp al Diablo pasta, Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, and the Pescatore. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The portions were generous, and we especially loved the fresh, warm Italian bread -- honestly one of the best parts of the meal! The service was excellent -- attentive, friendly, and spot-on. We paired everything with a bottle of Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon, which was a perfect match.not too expensive All in all, Alejo's is a lively, family-friendly spot with great food and atmosphere. HBD to me... Been coming here for I can't even remember exactly how long, but I started working in El Segundo in 1980, so shortly after that. The garlic dipping oil is truly my draw because not only do I absolutely love garlic, it's the only place that makes it like this and SO DELICIOUS! Their calamari is on a level of it's own and again, never had any anywhere better! It's so fresh, not oily at all, super crunchy and delicious! Next (for me) is their Alejo's chopped salad, with their famous house dressing. After eating these, I never have room for an entree and been ordering these for years... This year they gave me a complimentary Tiramisu for my birthday and I have to say... it was the BEST I've ever had!! Now I need to add that to my meal every time! The ingredients don't seem like anything out of the ordinary but put together it was excellent. Good iced tea as well. As for the pizzas, what was shared with me was fine, if a touch greasy. The crust had great flavor - that kind of reads like a backhanded compliment, but I don't mean it that way...it's just that it was the best part of the pizza. The brunch crowd is quite a mix here of all ages (screaming toddlers ahoy) but it didn't end up being a detrimental aspect of the meal. My family member who lived down here has just moved, so I don't know if I'll make it back (or if it's good enough to specifically seek this out) but if you find yourself in this area of Playa Vista, this is a pretty good choice.

I now completely understand why this place is always empty when I walk by…read more I had such a great experience during my first visit that I returned six days later. There was a male server there this time. I asked for the same thing I got last time - a bianca slice. He was very confused, so I showed him a picture of the pizza that i ordered during my last visit as well as the receipt from that day. He said something about there not being a button for that, and I said, "I'm sorry, I didn't know it would be a problem because the lady from before made it look so easy." He "yeah, yeah, yeah'd" me and then muttered something else under his breath. Oook... So, the pizza comes out with a red sauce. He puts a lid on it, and as he's pinching the container closed, I mention how the Bianca isn't supposed to have a red sauce on it. He dismissively nods to what I've said, and starts to hand me the pizza. As I reach out to take the incorrectly made dish, I say, "actually, I don't like red sauce which is why I ordered a white pizza. Can I please get it without the sauce?" He gets visibly annoyed, says something under his breath, disappears into the kitchen, and they remake it. When the new pizza comes out, he literally tosses a plastic cover on it then points to it. Confused, I start to pinch it closed myself. For some reason, it's having trouble closing it and he just watches me struggle with it and doesn't offer to help. So I ask him to close it for me. He does it begrudgingly and he struggles to close it too, but by this time, I'm just glad that I can get out of there. Once I leave and try the pizza, it's a far cry from the pizza I had six days prior. Tasted completely different - it was missing the garlic. So, now, I completely understand why this place is never busy. Terrible service and inconsistent food. I still can't believe the way he threw the lid onto the container then pointed at it... One star for the pizza six days prior. As wonderful as the female server was during my previous visit, I'll never be back. Skip this one.
