We contacted KB on 1/16, he gave us a price we agreed to and he was supposed to start 1/21. He called the morning of the 21 and said he could not make it but would be there on the 25 and finish on the 28th, it is now 11:00 on 1/25 and he wont respond to text or phone to let me know what is going on. This is unprofessional and inconsiderate. Poor communication, or lack of. out of respect for the customer you could at least keep in contact. REPLY to KB reply. It is sad that you would make up misinformation, I did not lie to get you to lower your quote. you were supposed to be here this morning when you didn't show and wouldn't respond I assumed you ghosted me, remember your website says communication is key. I got many quotes and Ken was a little above the lowest but took the time to answer all my questions. There was a delay on my side getting him hired but Ken was very flexible. We decided on a date and time about 10 days out, the need was not urgent. He emailed the morning of to confirm. He was here on time and proceeded with the work. I asked him to do some extra protective plastic around some book cases that he didn't think would be affected but did the protection anyway without any hesitation. The ceiling had 2 spots to patch up after water damage and the drywall had sagged a bit. Insulation needed to be added above the drywall too in a space that was inaccessible once covered and he did that. Now done, the texture blends in well. He made sure I came in and looked and that I agreed on each patch. The patch has to dry and Ken doesn't paint, he can recommend a painter though. I decided to paint it myself so I have to do that in the next day or two. When I do I'll try to remember to put up pictures. Would definitely recommend Ken and if I need drywall work I'll call him again. read more

I'm somewhat skeptical when it comes to hiring based solely on reviews, which I did when I contracted with KB Drywall. However, they did not disappoint at all. I sent Ken pictures of the drywall damage and he responded with a couple of options and pricing, depending on the extent of the damage. He showed up when he said he would (actually he was early), and assessed the damage and stuck to his original quote. Fantastic job. Showed up in the window he said he would, very polite and professional. We needed some drywall repaired after we removed a built in shelving unit. Drywall damaged down past the brown sheets of the Sheetrock. KB did a fantastic job repairing the wall, looks brand new. Made the new wall match the rest of the room. I had a 10"x12" cutout in my laundry room wall from a water leak repair. Ken was able to squeeze me in on a Friday and knock it out in short order. This is the second time we have had Ken come save the day with his skillful drywalling and we would hire him again in an instant. The first time we had him help us was when we needed our ceiling in our kitchen patched up and smoothed because it was initially lined with flourescent lighting that my husband got rid of, but left a ton of holes. Ken filled them up and smoothed it out. This time around my husband moved our electrical box to move our chandelier in our vaulted ceiling and Ken patched up our holes and smoothed out the finish then, too.
