Don't judge a book by it's cover...
This place gets really busy. It can also be empty. I can see why the later occurs.
Imagine going to a bookstore to find a new book. As soon as you enter, you are kindly greeted and actively attended to. The clerk is nice and points out many options. You choose a book with a great cover, however as you open it, it's empty.
That's eating at Kazan.
Great service, everything looks good, oddly devoid of much flavor.
We mainly order fish (nigiri, sashimi, rolls, hand rolls). The fish quality is pretty good.
The most bland was probably the handrolls, especially the CA or Spicy Salmon
