    Yummy Hot Fudge cake
    Kathy D.

We were excited to find Kay's Kastles today because we've been in search of a hand dipped ice cream cone. Very cute big place. Lots of sitting and choices (and also hotdogs and stuff.) We ended up with hot fudge ice cream cake. Very good! Just enough and a good price! We will go back maybe tomorrow for a cone!

Cheap, inexpensive, and fun. They even have some short irxere food like hot dogs. The ice cream here is good and THE cheapest in town, or anywhere close. Kays has been around for years and has not changed. They don't take credit card so make sure to bring some cash. The people that work here are ethet really nice, cordial, or basically take no joy. There is no middle ground. They WILL take care of your order, but you get various mileage on politeness depending on who is working.

Good ice cream place. They need to have waffle cones and take credit cards. Also, more ice cream flavors would be good.

Right when you order it. The service was great for such a small spot... we had a large group and there was one waitress for us but she handled it with no issue. The food was great! I got a sandwich that I swore I would not eat it all due to the size but it tasted so good that I did! Honestly it was really good. This is one of those place that is just good home style food... a small town gem of a spot! If you're ever in the area I'd recommend stopping in and getting a bite... you won't regret it!

I ordered a rootbeer float, grilled cheese on sourdough, and a bowl of chicken and dumplings. The soup was thick but delish. The grilled cheese was perfect! Loved the rootbeer float too. The bf had a chocolate malt shake which was also very good. Staff was friendly, prove point was good. This place offers a great variety of ice cream, I was tempted to order ice cream for dessert even though I had a rootbeer float but I controlled myself lol. Would definitely recommend this place. Had I had the time, I would've returned to try the tomato basil soup.

I never did try one, so I was delighted when Crispy Cones popped up in my search for a dessert one afternoon and the "trdelnik" entered back into my life for a try. First thing when you enter, you're warmly greeted by some of the friendliest staff. If it's your first visit, they give you an overview and answer your questions. The process was to place your order on their order kiosk. Choose your cone type (or cup), your spread (peanut butter, Nutella, or cookie butter), your soft serve flavor(s), and your topping(s). You then pay via card only at the order kiosk (no cash) and give a phone number for a digital receipt. A few minutes later, your name is called and you collect your order. I ordered the traditional cone with cookie butter spread, chocolate vanilla swirl soft serve, Heath bar topping, and caramel sauce ($8.30). The cones are definitely the star of the show here! Slightly crispy pastry cone with a cinnamon sugar crust and the cookie butter spread with Heath bar topping packed inside made the soft serve more delightful. The soft serve itself wasn't anything grand and was reminiscent of soft serve you'd get at a buffet for dessert. Perhaps order whatever their specialty flavors soft serve is for a more flavorful soft-serve? Nonetheless, it was still a pleasant experience, with friendly staff, and a very clean place.
