The owner knows what she's doing! She had me try my romper + shoes on so she could pin it. I had originally wanted a little longer in length, but she did a great job explaining why I shouldn't with the type of shoes I was pairing with it. I trusted her judgement and the length came out perfect. Pricing was fair, I paid $40. Turnaround time was about a week which was fine because I wasn't in a rush. I have used her services several times, and every single time she has been rude and unpleasant, but today crossed the line. Not only did she tell me that I "didn't know how to do a zipper," but she altered my daughter's dress so tightly that it was extremely uncomfortable and her breasts were literally being smashed by the dress. When I questioned the fit, I was told that this was what she "had to do to make the dress stay up." It was so tight that when the zipper was being zipped, the sheer fabric at the top of the dress was literally being pulled and stretched to the point that it was visibly straining and ripped. That is NOT what a properly fitted dress should look like. There is a huge difference between properly altering a dress and making it so tight that the person wearing it is uncomfortable, her body is being painfully compressed, and the actual fabric of the dress is being strained just to zip it. I still paid for the service, even though I absolutely should not have. Now, after paying to have my daughter's special Homecoming dress altered, my daughter is without a dress because it was altered so poorly that she cannot wear it. We are now left scrambling to find another dress at the last minute. This was supposed to be an exciting experience for my daughter, and instead, it has been incredibly frustrating and upsetting. I will never use this alterations shop again. Good customer service, professionalism, and actually listening to the customer should be the bare minimum. If you're trusting someone with an important dress for a special occasion, I would seriously think twice before using this business.

Upon visiting and meeting the owners, Fred and Renee, I knew it would be a great fit for my alteration needs. Not only am I petite and had a variety of pants, coats, etc. that needed hemmed or modified to be 'ready to wear', but I began a new position and needed formal business attire altered to be office-ready. Renee does a consult for every piece in the mirror with clients, verifies the type of shoes to be worn, asks clarifying questions, and then has the items done within a week or so (perhaps sooner, but so far I haven't needed anything in a rush.) In terms of value, I also believe the pricing to be very affordable and quality. PRO-TIP: be sure to bring either the exact shoes you'll be wearing with pants you want hemmed or similar styles so the length will be accurate. Note: They're closed Sundays & Mondays & open until 4PM so plan accordingly.

I made an appointment drop off and web made our way to A Fitting Creation. It's not located far from US 40. Diane has her own building adjacent to her home. It's clean and comfortable. It was a snowy/icy morning and Diane's husband made sure that a path was cleared and that I got inside safely. Drop off was easy. Diane discussed our options, depending upon how things worked out when she dug into the repair. I don't wasn't in a hurry to get the dress back at all. She called a few weeks later and the dress was complete. She had me try it on so that I could be sure everything was as it should be. The dress was great. I couldn't even tell where the repair had been made. Her fee was beyond reasonable. She offers a number of great services, including a mail in service if you just need something like a zipper or other repair that doesn't affect fit. She also has a day-of bridal service where she's with the entire bridal party to ensure there are no issues with fit or presentation. I highly recommend Diane and will look to her in the future. She's a kind and engaging woman, on top of being a talented seamstress.

I ended up losing weight, so my actual address ended up being way too big.
