Very few Omaha business measure up to SF standards. Sometimes the wait has been close to 3 hours to see Dr. Severa, so clear your schedule! He is a total mess. Not sure what is going on with him, but he has some form of serious ADHD. He borders on non-functioning if you want my opinion. If you can help keep him on track while in with him, you will be out of there quickly. I will say that Dr. Severa will pretty much write you a script for whatever you request, and sometimes a bunch of stuff you don't even ask for or feel you need. He does spend time speaking to each patient (too much time which is why he runs SOOOOOOOOO far behind), and his new patient + regular visit prices are the best in town. Some doctors I've been to in Omaha require tons of blood work (CBC, Free T4, Complete Met Panel, Lipid, Vit D) and an EKG prior to even seeing you for ADD meds (and then have an alternative or better idea for your medication, never including ADD meds). With Dr. Severa you won't get any BS to that regard, which is why I keep going back and am able to overlook all of this office's shortcomings. Of note: The office waiting room is dirty, and his office is dirty and disgusting. Dr. Severa's office looks like an episode of hoarders - it is so full of garbage that I don't know how he actually gets in or out. Bring your inhaler if you have asthma, take your allergy meds if you are allergic to dust or mold, don't wear clothes you love, and bring your hand sanitizer. Bring a book and/or headphones. When calling, good luck trying to get through - very often you will not reach a live person, but rather a voice mailbox that is FULL. Forget about calling right when their offices open - best to give them 15 minutes to get their computers up and running. (In the Dr.'s office my ma worked at, she and the other nurses arrived early so that they were ready to talk to patients immediately as the office opened and phones went online). Be prepared to pay for a visit if you cancel less than 24hrs. in advance. They are huge sticklers on this policy.

In our past experiences with different providers and offices, we were given a 15 minute time slot to hurry up and spit out what was going on, then shoved out the door with a prescription. That doesn't seem to be the way this office, specifically Alison, operates. Going here for appointments is a positive experience, from the time the office folks greet me upon entering, until they say goodbye when I leave.

Over many years I've struggled to find the right combination of treatment for myself and I'm currently in the best place I've ever been in thanks to his knowledge of medications and symptoms. Bob is always up to date with the latest treatments and therapies and is always open to dialogue and questions during our sessions. I also am beyond with impressed with his staff and how quickly and professionally they return my calls and their willingness to help facilitate refills should there be any issues. I highly recommend his office.

I have paid for service for years to be treated poorly by Maria, just to see Kelly Hoover. I am no longer willing to be treated badly because her job is hard. My job is hard too! But I do it, and the people who are nice to me actually matter-to Maria, everyone is the same. I'm not a drug addict, I don't have bipolar disorder-very different, highly unstable disorders-I have depression that I deal with and manage well. But I'm treated like I don't matter everytime I go to this facility-by Maria. I have earned the right to be treated well. I've never said a word about her behavior until now. I pay too much to see Kelly to deal with this.

Unprofessional as an MD…read more This MD disrespected my service in the military. Highly incompetent. I was overcharged by this MD on multiple occasions, and was misdiagnosed by this MD of PTSD which ultimately led me to the emergency room due to the horrific side effects.
