Dr.Quong & Dr.Nguyen are really professional and caring drs. They take the time to make you feel at ease and explain my options up front. I also like how Dr.Quong explains every step of what he's doing to make you feel calm in the procedure. He's so knowledgeable and works very carefully but quickly. Dr Phillip and Dr Quin and their staff are all fantastic! They do a great job of explaining dental treatment options and the costs are transparent and very up front. I had some root canals that another dentist wanted me to go to a specialist for, and Dr Phillip was able to take care of them no problem. If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would! Dr Philip and his staff are amazing. Last Friday I broke my front tooth and was completely horrified. My regular dentist is closed on Friday. So I turned to Yelp to find a reputable dentist. And I am so glad I chose Kaweah Dental. Denise was able to work me in at that moment. I drove over and had to wait in my car for them to take my temp and was greeted with a smile. Once I got to the back Dr Phillip noticed I had a root canal on the broken tooth which never had a crown put on. I couldn't even remember when I had that tooth worked on. Dr was very detailed and thorough and explained we would try the crown route before trying the implant. I agreed and he and Erica went to to work to put in a post and temporary crown. I had a temporary front tooth! My follow up appointment was made for about a week and a half later, but they called and said it was ready today (one week later)! They have made accommodations to get me in early today in order to meet a work obligation. Hands down the best dentist and staff I've come across in a long time. We are seriously considering switching our family to Kaweah Dental. read more

Love this place! Dr. Phillip is honestly the best. I had been going to a previous dentist for over 15 years until I recently moved to Visalia. My cousin referred me to him and I'm so thankful that he did. It is so different then the place I used to go to. By different I mean 100,000 times better!!!! Very welcoming place & staff, he lets you know everything that he's doing. Shows you before and after x rays. He is super informative with every procedure he does. I honestly don't think I'll ever see another dentist. So glad my cousin referred me to him. Dr. Philip, Dr. Quyen, and the entire staff at Kaweah Dental have been wonderful blessing! Our family (including our 2 daughters, 4 and 6 yrs old) have been coming to Kaweah Dental since moving to Visalia in 2013. The caring and professional staff along with a clean and comfortable office makes visiting the dentist a lot less stressful. My first visit with Dr. Philip years ago really impressed me. He taught/explained everything so much more than any dentist I've been to, and I've seen a lot with my crappy teeth lol. You can immediately tell that he really cares for his patients and his craft. We really appreciate the professionalism and patience these docs and their staff exhibit. I also learned Dr. Philip is a tech junky and is always looking for the latest dental tech and research to bring to his patients. Example, cleanings here are the BEST I've ever had and the LEAST discomforting. They have an ultrasonic cleaning instrument that I've never experienced before that makes cleaning so much less stressful! I wish there were more stars to give for Kaweah Dental. I could not be happier with the staff and dentists who work there. Not only is the environment welcoming, but so is the entire team working there. I have had an implant procedure done by Dr. Phillip and I cannot stop smiling. My implant was done in the very front and no one can ever spot the difference when I ask them. I felt no pain during the procedure and the pain after was very minimal. He prescribed me a strong pain killer, but I ended up not needing it. Just recently he extracted my bottom left wisdom tooth and honest to God, that was such an easy procedure. He numbed me and about 20 minutes later, my tooth was out. No pain at all, only a bit of pressure. My mouth was sore and swollen for the rest of the day and ate pudding for dinner. All I needed was a couple pills of Tylenol and I was good. I stopped bleeding by the next morning and was able to enjoy my oatmeal with no problem. My 7 year old son is also a patient here and he no longer fears the dentist. Dr. Phillip and his wife really are professionals. They know what they are doing and do it with little to no discomfort or pain. I really recommend scheduling an appointment there and becoming a regular patient. I still have more work to do on my teeth and am very happy to know I can trust Kaweah Dental with the job and wont be let down. read more

I had an emergency late in the day and Dr. Phillip stayed to take great care of me when no other office would see me. I was grateful from the get-go. He was a very gentle and caring dentist, best experience I ever had getting a tooth worked on. He explained everything to me and he worked with my insurance to make sure that everything is covered. The only regret I had was I didn't come in sooner. That was a couple of years ago and now my entire family comes here. The kids are seeing his wife Dr. Quyen for braces. We all enjoy our time at the dentist now. I had actual work done here and I can tell you that I've been raving about Dr. Philip and Dr. Quyen to everyone I know. Love this place. The staff is seriously amazing. I needed a wisdom tooth extracted and was in a lot of pain. During the extraction they were great. Talked me through the process and made sure I was comfortable(Not sure how that's even possible during an extraction). Ok first off let me start by saying I take pride in my dental hygiene, I had braces for 4 years and take excellent care of my teeth. I went to this dentist office for a teeth cleaning, X-Ray etc, they took the X-Ray with their nice equipment and I thought the experience with the dentist would be enjoyable as well. He came in, briefly looked at my teeth and then stated (without even touching my gums or spending more than 2 minutes looking into my mouth) that I needed a deep cleaning that would require multiple trips and the use of drugs to numb my mouth and would cost close to $1600! Ridiculous, I think this place is a total scam. He refused to do a normal cleaning (which my insurance covers) and wouldn't touch my teeth without the deep cleaning. I shortly walked out after and made an appointment with a highly recommended dentist across town. On another note, I previously took both of my children here to see the pediatric dentist who was a different man, he was wonderful, very sweet and good with the kids, I will definitely bring them back for him. read more

been going here for years, been taking my kids here for years. You can guarantee if the dentist says it needs to be done, then it needs to be done. Hes a very smart guy and does a great job. For example: I needed 2 root canals, dentist A took hours and caused alot of pain. Kaweah Dental took less than 1 hour and dint feel a thing. Dentist A root canal needs to be redone... not kaweahs. I have been taking my girls here (which hate dentists) and they love going now because they make them feel so comfortable and like they are your friend, they actually get excited now instead of having to drag them. I had my braces done here and I been getting non stop compliments on how great my smile looks now. If someone gives this place less than 5 stars they must be working for another dentist trying to sabotage them :). Ill be going here for many more years to come read more

I have never done a review on Yelp, but I am compelled to write my story about this company and the staff because they where amazing to my self and my daughter at our visit. My 3 year old daughter had gone to another dentist prior to this one in fresno. I wanted a second opinion, so i took her to Kaweah Dental and I was amazed at the family oriented atmosphere, the loving care they provided to my super hyper, diva daughter an their professionalism. I have to say this was by far the best experience I have had with my daughters dental care. The staff where professional, supportive, smart, patient and most importantly so loving to my child. We had to do Knee to Knee to get my daughter checked because she is afraid of dentists and doctors. but, they offered playtime with her, a movie, and a price toy as a reward after getting checked. I loved the way they interacted with her and how patient they where to her to meet goals. Plus, they have a wonderful play area that was very clean for the little ones to play in while waiting in waiting room and my favorite yet; a cartoon channel on so my daughter maintained patient the whole time we where waiting, which by the way was not long at all. I highly recommend Kaweah Dental to anyone and everyone that needs dental work. I am a very happy satisfied customer. Thank you again Kaweah Dental staff for making this experience a great one.
