I would recommend this place for routine cleaning, check-ups, and cavity filling (bummed I had a cavity, first time since I was a kid). I would strongly advise you to go elsewhere if you're considering cosmetic dental work. Options were not sufficiently explained before it was done. I'd ask questions and often get vague responses. Before retiring, the dentist I had been seeing before coming here said that I "was a perfect candidate for Invisalign". Here, they didn't mention that option to me at all. I was told that I was there for a "consultation" the day they wired my teeth. I nearly walked out when it became apparent that they were getting ready to wire my grill, but I let them talk me into it. They clearly wanted to make all the decisions and just send me a bill. They did not seem overly concerned with doing the job well. I'm off to a different orthodontist now, after spending thousands of dollars and months of time. Again, most of the people and my experiences here were good, but you need a truly skilled orthodontist to trust with cosmetic work, and I did not find that here.

This woman was full of doom and gloom without even looking in my mouth and I could see the dollar signs rolling in her eyes like a slot machine. The kicker was that there was only one hygienist on site that day and I would have to either wait until she was done or schedule another appointment. By this time I had been there for 90 minutes. I decided to schedule another appointment, but with another dental office because these guys are a complete joke and waste of my Friday afternoon.

She was to take $416 out of the $1800 she charged on first visit. Then she gave me a refund receipt for $1333. that is shorting me $51 I asked and she said your total was $466! a lie! The girls up front can be friendly, but one in particular really needs work on her bedside manner. Ever since she got her fillings and a cleaning, she's been having nothing but issues ever since. Two of her teeth have cracked and some of the tooth fell out. One her filling wasn't sitting right and needed to be adjusted, then fell out a few days later. She's been in pain for weeks on end. Nobody up front or when she's in back have given her any instructions on how to care for it, what she should be eating during this, etc. There's really been no care beyond just doing the job and sending her on her way to experience pain after the fact. We've had to look up alot of how to take care of her at home when I would assume the dentist office should be providing this information to her before or after her procedures. It's been such a hassle we're looking into going to another dentists office 45min away because this town doesn't seem to provide proper care anymore. It's unfortunate cause this place seemed to really change our minds about proper care and service in town, but once again, Visalia never fails and strikes again.
