So you know how when you call an office to make an appointment usually a person picks up and you schedule? Well that doesn't happen here. They ask you to leave you a voicemail and someone will contact you to make an appointment. You wait a few hours and no call is returned. Alternatively, you can go to the website and fill out an appointment request. A few minutes later you receive an auto message saying that the office is growing therefore it will take them a long time to get back to you. After a couple days they send an email saying the doctor is booked out for months. Request a date from those offered and then ghosted for days. She sounds like a great doctor based on the reviews but how could one know for sure since it appears to be impossible to actually get an appointment. Absolutely no human contact. read more

I had really great experiences with Dr. Karhade, I've seen her six times now mostly for PRP treatment. I went to Dr. Karhade for a second opinion after seeing another derm who didn't really treat me like a human but more like a case and left me feeling uncomfortable. Dr. K spent about 35-40 minutes with me during my initial visit discussing all of my options, drawing out a diagram of the treatment routes I could take, which multiple treatments I could combine for maximum benefits, she explained the costs and what risks were involved, and was very transparent that despite the expense, the treatments had a chance of not being effective. Went to see Dr. Korgavkar at her Brooklyn office after finding her on Zoc Doc and I am happy to say I found a new dermatologist. Despite it being late, she was very nice, calm, good bedside manner and diagnosed my skin condition right away. I actually went to her for a 2nd opinion after another Dr told me it was something else and I trusted her 100% that she knew what she was talking about. She reassured me that it would be fine and wasn't alarming at all. She didn't even feel the need to take a biopsy which I appreciated.
