Kava Culture was a great and a nice relaxing environment The Owner and employees were very gracious and knowledgeable about the different types of Kava. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend coming here I usually get the k-tea it gives you a lot of energy get a half gallon to keep in the fridge at home. Or if you want to feel relaxed try K-Shock. It's a great place to hangout with friends. The staff are nice great service and Sam the owner is really cool.

Laid Back Vibes Atmosphere Low-key and dimly lit booths create the atmosphere at Kava Kulture. A very light Polynesian theme runs through the inside with Tiki art, Fortnite gaming at the bar, and Sculptural Tables. On the outside you'll find Low Sitting Lawn Chairs to chillax in. Service The cashier was a cool, laid back young man. When I told him I was new to kava and this was my first time visiting, he took the time to guide me through the menu, recommending I start with the high potency as my introductory drink. Even though he did forget to make my order, he promptly made up for his mistake by admitting fault and sincerely apologizing. Once he remembered, the drink was made in a jiffy. Some 10 mins later as I was digesting a good book and taking in the energy of the Kava the same young man offered me a Passion Tea on the house to make up for the inconvenience. I really appreciated the gesture and respected his humble attitude about the situation. Overall I had a nice a time here. It was exactly what I was looking for to cap off the night.

As a kava enthusiast, I welcome another local bar to the region. Service could be a bit more friendly, but overall I enjoyed the shell. Bula

We're both quite picky when it comes to coffee as I grew up on Vietnamese coffee and my partner on Chilean coffee (so we like our coffee strong). I got an egg coffee and he got a salted coffee. Both were quite good. It was the perfect caffeine rush we needed and just the perfect amount of sweetness. This place seems like it's meant for to go orders as there isn't a lot of seating. The staff are very nice and its very clean spot. If we're in the area I'd love to come back and try some of their food items like the banh mi or the croffle.

Where is the pandan? Totally wrong assembly!…read more I was really disappointed with my DRINK here. I ordered the Pandan Coconut because the picture ads shows beautiful green layers. Instead, I got what looks like plain water with a green lid. The actual green pandan part is completely missing from the cup! SERVICE: the staff is super friendly, but they definitely need better training on how to make the drinks correctly. They've been open since summer 2025, so they've been operating for well over a year now: this isn't just "grand opening" mistakes anymore. SEATING: to-go only, they do have a few benches inside where you can sit and wait for your order. RESTROOM: there is no public restroom, PARKING: is super easy since there's a ton of free space in the complex lot.

Walked in late on a Friday night. The place had a handful of people and was clean. The vibe and…read morecolors gave off a late-night hangout spot feel, so it just felt like the right place to be. Everything on their menu looked really good, but I decided to go with something a little more refreshing: a strawberry sundae. Ordering is super easy through two tablets to the left of the counter. It does force you to provide a phone number, so make sure you don't forget to opt out of those pesky text messages once you leave (if that's your preference). The tap-to-pay was very responsive too. The order didn't take long at all, and I very much enjoyed sitting on their little poofs around one of their tables. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and my sundae was so light and easy to eat. It had a generous helping of strawberry goodness, with even more at the bottom, which was quite a lovely surprise. Also, the two Pocky sticks on the side didn't even make it past my first two spoonfulls. Last time I came here was a while ago, but I will definitely make an effort not to wait that long again.

Black Sesame Swirl - 9.2/10 This ice cream is SO good like it tastes very nutty and toasty while not being overwhelmingly sweet. I would definitely get this ice cream again if I happen to stop by. Yuzu Sparkling Matcha - 5.1/10 I thought about trying their matcha lattes but I wanted to try something different so that's why I got this drink instead and honestly.. it's not that good tbh. I honestly hate sparkling drinks with matcha in general because it doesn't pair well imo. The Sparkling Yuzu is like the only thing that I can only taste and the sourness makes the matcha really bitter in a bad way. Although I do appreciate the color of the matcha so you know that they're not using low quality matcha that's for sure. Miso Caramel Kohl - 7.5/10 My family member got this drink and it honestly tastes a lot better than I thought especially since they use miso in coffee which is an interesting combination. Also, the caramel gives the miso a more nutty and sweet taste. I don't really like caramel but it's honestly not too bad. But the coffee flavor is REALLY strong so I would recommend it for those who love coffee. Service was good and they made the ice cream and drinks pretty fast even though it was kind of crowded when I went. There's some seating but just make sure to come when it's not too crowded. The place is pretty clean and nice overall so I would definitely recommend their ice cream especially the Black Sesame Swirl! ‍

Hidden Coffee Bar ended up being a really cool experience. Met Austin, the owner, and we…read moreimmediately got into it on coffee, gear, sourcing, all the fun stuff. I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!
