I sent an email to Kaufmann De Suisse and received a quick response. I spoke with the owner, Monica on the phone to discuss the process to have a diamond pendant sent to GIA for certification. She explained the entire process with me. We set up a date/time for me to come into the store. When I arrived at the store she was most pleasant. She spent a great deal of time looking at the diamond pendant, and suggested that I forgo a GIA certification. She spent time letting me know everything about the diamond and completed research right in front of me. The entire experience was a throw back to days of old when a shop owner was interested in you and your concerns over possibly making a sale. read more

Where to start?! Monica was very welcoming (myself, husband and three kids under 4) we instantly hit it off. Her jewelry is absolutely stunning. Truly a work of art. She helped us purchase an extremely special 18k dolphin ring. Can't wait to return to make other purchases:) read more

I first met Monica a few years ago when she had a store on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. I was window shopping with my Boston Terrier and decided to go in. She yelled "Don't bring that dog in here!" I immediately got a bad vibe from her. Be careful of people who don't like dogs. She is now in Delray Beach on a side street. The store is in a bad location and her demeanor is worse than ever. She said something to me about a former employee that was mean and thoughtless. There are better places to purchase jewelry. Stay away from this place and especially Monica! read more

Monica is absolutely the best. The store has wonderful pieces and she is so helpful. I love the fact that they can help you design your own jewelry and if you need repair, they can do that. When in Delray Beach, look them up. read more

Friendly but very professional service! We are grateful for this little gem in the neighborhood.

I love KaufMann de Suisse and its owner Monica! My husband bought me a ring for my birthday and Monica reset the stones to fit my finger. It is so beautiful. I also bought earrings to go with the ring. My husband surprised me with another custom piece. Monica helped him design it and I am over joyed with that piece, too. Kaufmann is my favorite jeweler. They are so easy to work with and every piece of jewelry is a work of art. read more

Not worth one star... I went in today to determine if the jeweler could quickly clean my band and ring. I rushed in between meetings with my ann taylor joggers, penn state shirt, and a baseball hat on. Ignorant is the nicest word to describe the lady working. I greet the employee "Hi can you please clean my band and ring". She states to me "I only can clean well made rings". Granted she DIDNOT even see or inspect my ring. This was the first thing she said to me. No hello... Astonished, to be clearly judged by my appearance. I requested the gentleman standing there to open their TSA doors, so I could leave. On my way out I did educate the juvenile jeweler, that this 3 carat VVS1 engagement ring is actually custom made by Browns the South African designer, and my 2 carat band is a custom made piece by JORGE ADELER himself... In attempt to what I assume was to justify her rude comment, she replies "Well I don't know, I clean rings all the time and have diamonds flying everywhere. So I have to ask". As Julia Roberts in her role Pretty Woman might say "Big mistake, big..huge" As a new resident to Delray this is my first poor experience in the neighborhood. I'm hopeful that other owners, employees and community members don't exemplify this behavior.. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Monica to create 7 custom diamond pieces -- multiple eternity bands, sets of stud and drop earrings, graduated Riviera necklaces and chokers, and cuffed bracelets -- all of which turned out STUNNINGLY thanks to her designs. In fact, every time I wear any of her pieces, people either stare in awe, compliment me profusely, or want the designer's contact! Monica is truly a one-of-a-kind artist with an eye for beauty who knows how to modernize dated jewelry and make them sparkle timelessly. I can't recommend Kuafmann De Suisse and Monica herself, enough! read more

There are not enough words to express how wonderful my experience with Kaufmann De Suisse over the last several years has been. She crafted the most beautiful engagement ring for my wife, and later her wedding band as well. They are absolutely stunning! Every time I have gone through their doors, I am treated with such kindness and respect. Monica, the owner, is clearly here for celebrating love and bringing people together through her art rather than for her personal gain. It is always a pleasure to work with them. read more

For my birthday my sweet husband walked me up and down worth avenue. I didn't know I would be celebrating another birthday after breaking my neck but miracles can happen. They do happen if you give yourself to impossible Love. After breaking my neck I thought my days were numbered. So did my doctors. But life is possible when it is t probable when you decide to love life exactly as it is and when you decide to love yourself and when you love your loved ones. Flaws and all. Sometimes the flaws become the anchor to a great love story- to a hauntingly Perfect beauty. Miracles happen when you ask- what would Love do? We wanted to celebrate my birthday with a very special ring celebrating love and celebrating life. We went to every fine jeweler on the island looking at every fine unique piece of jewelry. The stories were essentially the same from place to place. But This place was different than the rest. This is A family place where love resides. Love for family, love for beauty. Love for life. This place has a unique story where family ties bind together in love where jewels are made beautiful through time and focus and unconditional love. This ring on my finger my husband bought from christopher and his sister and a stunning pearl necklace which they designed are artifacts of a great love. Aquamarine, the jewel Of loving kindness, of healing of loyalty and true love came out of this store- the most beautiful piece of jewelry I own. Utterly beautiful design hugged by two precious flawless diamonds. The experience buying the jewelry was so lovely and it passes hands from a love to long lasting love. I felt real authentic love here in a place rich with an American story, a redemption song showing dedication to family and to the most powerful material And energy in the universe - love. The jewelry represents a return to health from impossible odds, and the beautiful bond of family. A sister and a brother bound together celebrating life and beauty. This will be the first of many fine experiences there. I wish them great success and hope they keep designing these extraordinary beautiful works. read more
